Well,... I like Collie x Greyhounds,... I find them just right for the mouching/ferreting/rabbiting game ... I prefer the bitches, as they are generally a tad smaller than the dogs and can still easily pursue a bolter, in and out of the hedge bottom, without too much injury. A further improvement can be often be achieved, by dint of whippet blood, this can reduce the overall size and makes them really handy, for the hedgerow rabbiting enthusiast... My lad does house removals for folks & they very often get stuff given them off the folks moving. well he was given a box full of stamps in albums & post cards they where going in the skip if he didnt want them, I am looking at a lifetimes work here .... its amazing to look at old stamps from Victorian times I dont particularly think there is any value in them but its the way they have been catalogued, all neat & tidy , there must be at least 2000 stamps & first edition things its history as far as i am concerned & should be preserved

Last night I fitted my new Hawke Airmax scope onto my rimfire, I went back to BKL mounts because I just love em. I went for the 3 - 12 x 50mm, side focus, IR with the AMX reticle. Now I have been using MTC Mamba Lite scopes for a couple of years and really like them but I keep picking up one of these in my RFD thinking how much I like the reticle so I took the plunge and bought one.
