  1. I would genuinely loathe anything like that, luckily I’m old and don’t like anybody so I’m safe ! However, if I did have to write a speech it would start like this: ”So happy to see you all here, most of you probably haven’t seen the bride or groom for years and won’t see them ever again after this but you all thought free food and drink and a chance to get dressed up so you came…..don’t know why the happy couple invited most of you parasites because I’d rather drink my own piss out of a Rumanian builders under pants than spend a minute more than I have to in your loathsome comp

  3. I've been to Oz a few times, and one time I asked on Ozziedoggers, ( a hunting site, not a perverts site !?!), if anyone would like to take an old cantankerous, pommy out hunting. I was inundated with offers and went down there for three months during our summer, their winter, and went hunting with some top lads. It was all foxes, they weren't interested in hares. Had a great time with lurcher lads, Terrier lads and mounted fox hunts. And a pair of whippets for mC and GL ! ? Cheers.

  8. No mate, I'm a home bird these days, but I'm a bit jealous of my missus who went north of the Arctic circle and did a bit of husky mushing, I'd like to have a go at that; She still likes to travel, but I can't be bothered with the hassle, I've done more travel than most could dream of ! I spoke to an old pal of mine today, who took me out a few years ago to run some different quarry with the old deer x, and we might have a day or night out next season to test this big pup I've got now. We'll see, but I'm 70 now, and although the spirit may be willing, the heart may be weak ! ? ! But

  10. Monday morning and @Southern Hunter had come down from his little alpine village and taken away the three pigs - see We now had room to hang animals again so Sharon was keen to get up into the hills again. I had spent the afternoon doing some forestry work for a local farmer and didn’t get home until after 1730 hrs, so that wiped me out for that night. Nothing for it then, Sharon determined, we were definitely going Tuesday night or she would go alone, plus it was going to be an ideal night. Tuesday night, I’m all rested, the weather is good, Sharon is fizzing to go, so game on. It i

All my kids have a pocket knife/catapult that I allow them to carry and use if they are out with me...I've got allsorts laying about and they would never touch anything without asking me first, they can all make/start a fire, skin a rabbit...I let them do just about anything within reason...I'm happy to show or explain anything I did hunting/bushcraft wise that I got up too as a kid myself, den building,nesting..they are well switched on and I'm glad that they ain't no soapy cnuts like most of their mates....I genuinely feel sorry for their friends and the upbringings they will have...mam and d

  22. The Arabs have working dogs that are far from pure, lots of crossing in the past and present. Lot of galgos are taken over as they seem to improve their lines without giving many of the drawbacks of greyhounds re stamina and have a similar look. these recently to Morocco which begs the question why they need to import if pures are that great. So if people want a dog to run rather than show perhaps import working rather than pedigree animals would be better. these are Arab working dogs, certainly not pure lol.

  24. Dont wish to put you off but I've been best man 7 times now and havent enjoyed 1. Its easier if you know the audience family etc but start with the usual thanking everyone for coming explain who you are how you are acquainted to the bride and groom. Mention how good the bride and bridesmaid look and what a fantastic day it had been and If you have only hunting in common try to find one or two funny stories and elaborate on those. Try to find something funny out about the bride and finish up by trying to be as serious, complimentary and as sentimental as possible before you get everyone up

  25. Don't worry, I'm sure it's blown over now. Don't worry Jigsaw, I certainly didn't read anything you've posted as negative in any way. That's the problem with social media/texting etc you can't see someone's face so can't pick up on the extra nuances so it's easy to think that someone's being sarcastic when they're not. As I did with black neck: sorry black neck.? Anyway, let's get back to the subject of mating my nine month old kelpie (which hasn't caught anything yet) to a kelpie x whippet to produce some 3/4 kelpie 1/4 whippets. If I can't sell them at the first push I'll adve

  26. I used to hang about with some of Benny’s mob years ago. Tbh Blackpool is so gay no one bats an eyelid, not even the hooligans ? Many time we used to go to a gay hotel for after club drinks. Never a bother, always a laugh, we’d stay in the bar bit and play pool, leave them to it. Go into a pub with any of the lads and a ruck was on the cards ?? I think this coming out malarkey is bullshit. Who gives a fuuck, just kick the ball!

  30. I am reading the book from Terence Clark about Salukis at the moment and in there he has some stunning pictures of smooth salukis. They look more like a salxgrey. Crossing something like that with a collie/kelpie would be really interesting to see. I would imagine that they would be fast enough for almost anything and would have stamina to spare. I would love to go to the source and getting one of these smooths over here, since I really do not dig the feathering…

  38. PSG player apparently being castigated for refusing to wear a rainbow badge on his shirt.., and now a Palace player being hounded for supporting his countryman on social media. Sport, and football in particular, set a very high bar in this sh!te with the whole Floyd/BLM kneeling stuff.., and the whole narrative that if a player doesn’t conform to these virtue signalling gestures, that they’re somehow part of the problem. The majority silenced as usual.
