Yesterday me and the boys headed out to the deeps on one of our shark trips, we stopped off over a few wrecks to fill the freezers up and after a few drifts we filled the ice box up enough and decided to get the bigger gear set up, traps were set and chum slick working away, time to sit back and chill for abit, well that didn’t last long when the first rod bent over and the reel screaming away first blue shark was on giving a great account of herself coming in around the 100lb mark, and the day continued this way for the next few hours with sharks steadily taking our baits and screaming off, a

  20. Just had 2-1/2 hours tonight , had a dozen jacks and 7 perch all on the pinky/purple nimble copy . Annoyingly I had about 20 small perch grab the lure just by the legs behind the hook . I could see them doing it in the clear water which was frustrating and it didn’t make any difference what I did with the retrieve

  41. Just come back from holiday and the pods are forming on the peas which was a nice surprise, the pot marigolds flowering and attracting the black fly. Just sown 2x 24 cell tray of little gem and salad bowl lettuce to see us through and a few late runners to put in when I got space.

  42. A little side hustle I have is a pie cart to events. Just dropped off and set up at a wedding earlier, lovely place at farm that does barn weddings. Hope the young couple are pleased with it .
