Nice night away last weekend, only a quick one as didn't get away from the yard until 11.30 ish after laying concrete. First night in the tentbox and can say we enjoyed it and slept well. I usually prefer a more remote camping spot but we were meeting friends in their camper and they wanted electric hookup so headed up to baskerville Hall in Hay on Wye. Cheap enough £24 for two adults for the night and they leave you alone to it.

Some of the more serious and learned boxing aficionados are firmly of the opinion that the fix was on and it’s reflected in the scorecards imho . Be of no doubt that the boxing councils and Saudi Arabian media teams wanted Tyson to win , he’s a massive draw . More fights , more exposure to the resorts from Joe Public . the fight to me looked pretty unanimous, a split decision will coax fury back in easier , how anyone has fury ahead on that performance or anywhere near , needs to have a look at the positions they held . I read as well that I order to maintain the fight going

Agree with that. The ref undoubtedly 'saved' Fury when he was staggered across 3 sets of ropes. Had Usyk been lurching like that,with his head obviously scrambled, the ref would have jumped in. The count was very dodgy too. I think existing champions are usually always given favourable treatment by refs. It's often an unconscious thing as well as deliberate. I thought Usyk might have to stop Fury to get the decision. As it turned out justice was delivered, which sometimes isn't the case in boxing.

I’ve never seen a working Dogo in person. Has anyone else on here ? What could they do here in the UK that a purpose bred lurcher couldn’t ? There’s dogs here that take everything in the UK , including the big deer and boar, so what would be the point of a Dogo ? I’ve often thought about having a working type Borzoi or Chartpolski or Azawak or whatever, but what would be the point ? There’s probably better lurchers available for the quarry we have here, so the “exotic” types would only be an indulgence. Just my opinion, of course. Cheers.

I think it was the best heavyweight fight I've seen in my lifetime , they brought their a game , although usyk was robbed of a KO and fury maybe shouldn't have played the fool it was great entertainment and the better man won . It had it all , hopefully the rematch if there is one is short and sharp for both their sakes.

Can't speak for every campsite...but lots I've stopped at will let you have a fire pit ...them metal things ...and burn logs....most of them will hire them to you and sell bags of logs so if you don't have one or want to load one in your car it's ideal

I have mate and I flatly refused any medication the doctor offered. I am getting at least 2 text messages a week to sign up and attend the diabetes group sessions I won't be attending them either.

Get hold of a book called "The way of a transgressor" by Negley Farson. American guy who had an amazing life. He got hold of a boat in Southampton, refitted it and went to Europe via Rotterdam. Took rivers and canals and got all the way to Romania. Took the Kette boat (chain driven tow) up the Frankishe Jura mountain river, made it to the Danube and the marshes, fished for sturgeon and shot ducks for food. An incredible life story.

Theres a few UK fisheries where you can go and catch catfish....also a few rivers

I took the plunge, im more than happy, great bit of kit, plenty of poke ,I done a battery test, I managed to cut 30x 6in-12in rounds in one cycle ....doing bigger stuff some of it nearly 3ft I got 8 solid cuts , better than I expected, plenty for my needs.
