Out with Borr and SeanC off here for a day yesterday, fished on speci lake at rhe THL comp venue.. target perch.. Chopped worm, maggot, caster and prawns.. I fished match style, Sean set up "proper perch" gear and Joe had a go at drop shotting..it was a bit too coloured for the drop shotting to work, but we had a decent day on baits, Sean had a couple of decent carp over 10lb, I lost a few (f***ing things! Lol).. but had a good few bream, a couple of nice crucians and a half decent tench...plus one cracking roach around 1.5lb... the perch didn't come until it was pretty much dark.. Sean h

Took the dog out to have a look around a local fishing pond and some shoot land I’ve just got some permission on. New land to me and unsure where and what’s about but apparently there’s plenty of all sorts for me to do before they want to start putting birds down again. So of I went, dog and shovel in hand.

very true WILF , but as ex smoker mate, this fookin thing really needs a big push to try stop the young kids starting dirty habit . i know you say mate all ex smokers are the same once they quit , maybe true .But let tell you i started at 15 - 30 years old , roughly 10- 15 fags a day , stopped when i got married a 30 years , took 3 attempts , but done it , and never smoked since 37 years ago. Nowthis is the shocker you think after that time my lungs be good, ok better than smokers , but there still fooken scared mate , that damage there for life , it prob get me in the end, i am 72 in aug

I got one off my pups back last Friday from a mate, I placed her with my other mate closer to home. Wind was blowing last night although very bright. We took off anyways. (Innit to win it) . The 1st half hour we seen a few in the thermal but all on the move. We eventually landed on a nice 1 for his pup and she scoobed up no issues . Mines has had a couple more runs than her sister so she had a little more complex run which she done very well. Another for her. On the way back they managed another 1 each. Chuffed watching the 2 sisters and amazing to see them 1 after

Speaking as an ex 60/80 a day smoker , I wish fags had been banned long before I started smoking . I haven’t touched a fag in years , but I'm still a chronic nicotine addict . I spend my life clinging to my vape , and I hate it. I've done some dumb ass things in my lifetime , but starting smoking was the dumbest .
