Looking at one of the coins from yesterday that I thought was a farthing, turns out its Italian 5 centimes 1921. Gave it to the Farmer as it had a Barley ear on it. Thought it might make a key ring or charm. One of these. Cheers Arry5 points

My daughters 11 now and played football since she was around 5 years old . Up until a season ago she was the only girl in a boys team , she grew up with all the boys and they didn't care one bit that they had a girl playing with them . She's always been a decent player and at the start of her playing football she was on par with the rest of the boys then after a few years the boys level just flew up . She retained a position in the team because she's a tough little girl who gets stuck in and has no fear of playing against boys . I have to say those years playing with the boys team were awesome5 points

Had to have my dog PTS this afternoon nearly 14 yrs of age thankfully the vet made the decision for me right back leg went then left leg deteriorated with paralysis. So couldn't support his weight he did have an earlier episode few months earlier but seemed to sort its self out with laser treatment and arthritis injections . But started limping again earlier in the week then his back end just suddenly went . Me and the wife was with him till the end and stayed with him for a good 20 mins after the injection I at least owed him that . Not a world beater far from it but as a mate and a good co4 points

I have tried to watch women's football, particularly England matches, but find it difficult to retain interest for a full 90 minutes. But I am a strong believer in people being allowed to live their lives and do what they want free from prejudice and discrimination as long they aren't hurting anyone. My only concern is the kick off time for women's football matches. Evening games are fine but 3 or 4 pm matches gets me wondering if there is a man somewhere, all alone, getting hungrier and hungrier because there is no one at home to make his tea.4 points

The German establishment is getting worried about the rise of the right wing party AfD, Alternative for Germany, who are against mass immigration and EU membership. AfD have gone from 2% of the vote to around 30%, especially in the former East Germany. The established parties are seriously talking about banning AfD !!!! Cheers.4 points

The netball world cup was on BBC at the beginning of the month! England were beaten in the final by the aussies. I can't claim to have watched it though. I think women's football will grow,in fact the stats prove this. They are not as good as the men, but the fact that they make more mistakes adds to the spectacle imo. Also, the women's game doesn't seem to feature time wasting, diving and screaming in agony as soon as they are tackled. Not yet anyway. I used to be dead against women's boxing at first, the same as women's football, but now I think fair play to them. They want to p4 points

The difference between pro mens footballers and womens footballers is one lot has a fanny and one lot are big fecking fannies, can't be doing with the way the men behave more like women than the women do so don't really watch footy any more....3 points

Lovely calm evening tonight lads so " chill out time " practicing with the above. The new HW95 KL first. Finding this to be a hard hitting, very accurate rifle lads, she's already taken a lot of vermin. 5p size groups all evening. Then the early MK2 HW77 Long .177 carrying the Sandwell stage 2 tune, another fine hunting rifle. 5p groups all evening with ease,- loved it, good practice, good chill out.2 points

The Irish government will do as they are ordered by the EU, whereas the Polish government is fighting back at the EU’s proposed law ordering the member states to take the number of immigrants decided by the EU. The Poles are to have a referendum on this to decide who’s laws are paramount; Polands or the EU’s. Cheers.2 points

Love this site...lol You would think England doing so well in a sporting comp...would be a good thing but no ...some of you just got to find an excuse to ridicule it... And saying its not as good as men's standard in sport....no shit sherlock men are stronger and faster so why try and compare it... Them lasses are going out there and playing with passion and pride...fair play to them...1 point

I started with the Minelab Vanquish 540 and found loads of stuff including hammered. I know others that like the Garett 250 but I cant speak for that one myself. I have now got the Minelab Equinox 800 which Darren off the forum managed to pick me up a hardly used one second hand at a very good price. Many thanks to him for that. The Equinox 800 commonly know as the Nox is a good machine that a lot of people seem to end up with and I probably will stay with it to be honest. The 540 is very easy to use and if conditions are right just switch on and go, I like the ground damp will pick up s1 point

Out on a ripped up rape field today not easy as ground so uneven. Nearly gave up seem barren then in a corner hit on a Elizebeth 1st 1561 hammered. Then this coin which I don't know what it is almost looks Russian. I have rubbed a pencil over it to high light details. Any ideas guys??? Double headed eagle. Then picked up couple of flints. One on the left I think is a small scraper the other I think is a leaf shaped arrow head with the tip missing. Cheers Arry1 point
