  2. Love this site...lol You would think England doing so well in a sporting comp...would be a good thing but no ...some of you just got to find an excuse to ridicule it... And saying its not as good as men's standard in sport....no shit sherlock men are stronger and faster so why try and compare it... Them lasses are going out there and playing with passion and pride...fair play to them...

  3. My two daughters delivered the goods today for a change. Off school and time on their hands I guess! Eldest one did the Lasagne and the youngest did the blackberry crumble. I was impressed and surprised they'd actually been blackberrying! When I mentioned that to them one replied.. "No dad, we got them from Lidl.. they were on sale"!! I give up honestly!!

  8. Think alot of the dogs you see running in to things & writing themselves off are the ones that haven’t been allowed to free run in woods etc as pups. Better for them to have a bump off a tree at 4/5 months when they’re going slow & learn from it than when they’re 18 months and break their neck

I strapped my radio to the digger i was on today so i could listen to it and let the very quiet sleepy north norfolk village i/m working in know when the lasses scored with it's horn and a cheer from me. ...

  14. I had the mother to the old bitch. She was what I would class as my 1st proper all rounder. She knew how to cut things off running in a field , could ferret one minute lift her nose and be gone the next . She was aggressive running and would tackle everything she ran no world bester but excited me. She got hit by a drunk driver and done her ligaments. I bred her to a dog with similar abilities to get the old bitch in the picture . I thought her mother had opened my eyes but she only scratched the surface to what this old bugger achieved. She's the mother to the big ones either side and the gr

Then this coin which I don't know what it is almost looks Russian. I have rubbed a pencil over it to high light details. Any ideas guys??? Double headed eagle. Then picked up couple of flints. One on the left I think is a small scraper the other I think is a leaf shaped arrow head with the tip missing. Cheers Arry

  28. I started with the Minelab Vanquish 540 and found loads of stuff including hammered. I know others that like the Garett 250 but I cant speak for that one myself. I have now got the Minelab Equinox 800 which Darren off the forum managed to pick me up a hardly used one second hand at a very good price. Many thanks to him for that. The Equinox 800 commonly know as the Nox is a good machine that a lot of people seem to end up with and I probably will stay with it to be honest. The 540 is very easy to use and if conditions are right just switch on and go, I like the ground damp will pick up s

I've experimented with several baits now.Big creek chubs like the corn.I made a punch bait from cotton balls and tinned dog food.It caught alot but would wash away quickly in these small creeks.I wasn't satisfied and I wasn't catching any new types.I remembered a bass bait that I never liked because little fish attacked it.I stopped by the bait store and got a pack. I tore off a tiny piece, put it on the hook.i added some cotton fibers to the tip to add some life to it. I caught chub, shiners, bream and a largemouth.I caught a new type of shiner.Whitetail shiner.
