A few years back my old bitch Delta caught a call duck that was hanging around my ducks at the allotment. It was unhurt so I clipped its wings and put it in the duck pen. It lays a couple of clutches each spring but has never shown any sign of going broody….. up till now ! She disappeared and I thought she was gone , but she had got under the fence and made a nest in between the pallet fence and was sitting on 7 eggs. I took a chance on putting 3 Irish Hennie game eggs under her aswell and first chick showed itself today, Hopefully the rest will hatch and reach maturity!15 points

Panic panic panic. There's plenty work about. Shops full of food. Poor people dying from obesity. There's a reason half the world wants to come to Britain and it ain't because of how shit you lefty cnuts would have us believe it is. I've just been to Bolton market and filled 2 bags full of fruit veg and stewing steak for £15. Problem isn't the price it's the fact the useful idiots have been allowed to forget what real food looks like so as to make them dependant on the system and the media13 points

I think it’s a shame that they are subject to mockery. I’ll always admire people who strive for adventure and experience. Even more so when there’s risk involved. At the end of the day the company appears legit. Held under the scrutiny that they will be now there will no doubt be massive failings with either their tech or processes but we all purchase services or goods with a degree of faith based on appearance. No one asks to see the safety test specs of the rollercoaster or plane they’re about to jump on. Many many other firms held under the same scrutiny would be torn apart. We only fi7 points

If this lad only had a fiver in his pocket, he’d still have more money than sense, I said it needs a lot of building up at the back to get a level and to get one of his lads to bring all the rubble from the top of the site, he must of thought that’s to much like hard work so got 17 dumpy’s of type 1 instead, oh well made my life easier, most expensive concrete pad in the area3 points

Starmer took £1.5 million off the Just Stop Oil financer , then decides to just stop oil and gas by not allowing any new drilling licences when Labour get into power. Just a coincedence, nothing to see here ! You are correct Francie, they are all as bad as each other ! Cheers.3 points

It’s good to go hunting in places where you’re not looking over your shoulder all the time ! Youre right, of course, it’s getting far to hot for daytime coursing now, with the draconian punishments, which is why I do far more lamping than daytime now, but there is something special about seeing a running dog behind a hare, roe or fox daytime . Cheers.3 points

Any dog is “tying”, not just a lurcher or terrier, but so are cage birds, horses, poultry, etc. Now, I’m most definitely NOT having a pop at anyone who thinks having a lurcher is “to tying”, but lurcher work can’t be your passion. I’ve never had a problem finding friends to take care of my animals, and I’d say I’ve done more than average amount of travelling. Ive never been without a dog since I was 13, and I hope I still have a dog when my time is up. Cheers.3 points
