Hour or so lamping last night wind and slight rain was perfect although it was not a very dark night, quick spin on some new permission rabbits right in the open was some brilliant sport. 2 in the bag and enjoyed it. He caught one out of the lamp which I was pleased with. He missed more than he caught to be honest, I’ve just not done as much lamping as I’d like to with him this was first time out this season, so he’s not quite as polished as he could be. He be 2years old on Monday, so this his first season always most glad to get him home unscathed, had a few bad cuts and tares e16 points

I like being on a site with hunting type people. There are a lot of similar types here with similar senses of humour. I don't really want to discuss hunting, I do what I do and sometimes I have met people off here and done things with them (not gay things obvs). I really don't want to chat about fieldsports on an open forum.....nor post photos of dead stuff or dogs. Just like I don't read hunting or fishing magazines anymore, they have been done to death and we live in an age of information overload, it's all been talked about before.10 points

Said the same for ages mate... I love hunting and fishing, been at some form or other for 40 years... couldn't sleep as a kid if we were fishing or hunting the next day, still a bit like it now lol.. You've been to the comp, we all sit and talk hunting or fishing old times and present around the fire every night... I speak to lads off here weekly and sane thing... I do however agree with FD that without hunting post content the site will die as it was designed, but it is so difficult to hold interest in the written word when you have to be so guarded to what you can put down...7 points

That’s it they do mate. They also won’t take any accountability for there actions an live in a land of delusion. We honestly thought with our brother we’d find him hanging from a tree or something with how he was acting but seems to be getting on now me an my older brother picked him up an dusted him off abit like big brothers talked him through a few things an offered any support we can offer5 points

The litters mine Davie..I don't remember telling anyone 26..my daughter must have replied to you..There's a dog pup here will definitely make 24/25 he's an absolute lump..The bedlington is from Rillington lines and is worked but I'm not putting another man's name on here...As for the price of the pups..this bitch was mated 12 months ago but absorbed them at 30 days..I could have passed her on but I didn't.. she's my dog and I'm very fond of her so I waited 12 months and tried again..she's in kennels with my other greyhound but I do all the feeding ,cleaning, exercising etc..and it all costs mon4 points

Seen a few year's ago a couple bred by a chap in Emley moor who used to breed this cross and 3 quarter breds the first cross dog i saw had good stamina and recovery rate and was deadly on fox and one time at Gringley on the hill killing one after they had slipped him out of the motor when the keeper's turned up at the same time and they were nicked for trespassing. The 3 quarter breds were good potfillers on rabbits and hares on local land. It used to be a familiar comment about first cross beddy/grey if only they were an inch or two taller and most of the noted ones i had heard of were always4 points

I quite like the fact you still get taught your language, keeps some national identity imo...same with Irish... I think money is wasted in far worse ways than trying to keep up traditions/indigenous cultures... Still a load of gurgling and spitting at the end of the day though lol3 points

Remember my cousin's whippet bitch getting out when in season and the spaniel collie dog that we would take rabbiting that was always on the street nailing her and some of the resulting pups that he sold for 50pence making cracking mooching dogs this was about 1972. lol3 points

Because he was a troop commander in the house hold cavalry , blues and royals I think off the top of my head . Before applying for and passing combat aircraft training , no mean feat . fair play , you can’t knock the lads career achievements, but then again as lt wales he was never gonna be bottom third . By all accounts he was a very capable soldier . ?3 points

Appreciate it mate thanks I’ve been waiting for the perfect night for a few months so just decided to go for it. He’s line bred beddy whip grey. There’s a drop of lakey in there from the beddy as well. I always suspect perhaps some Sal in him but not supposed to be. He’s done half a dozen daytime Long ears usally at them quick and aggressive And as a mooching dog marking cover and hedgerows to the terrier he’s brilliant.3 points

My nieces husband has got a few interesting cars but this is my favourite he had it imported from the states cost him a few quid but it’s more than doubled in value but he said if he spends out for the flux capacitor kit it sends it into silly money a good investment considering what he paid for it. Edited to say it’s aluminium and he polishes it with WD403 points

I think talking about your kills as a soldier is usually a big no no... I work with a number of ex squaddies and one that's still serving...and not a single one has ever spoke about any details of battle...and we have some guys on here that have served...and again I don't think I have ever herd them talk about such things..2 points
