Me personally I think we should donate to the problems in this country before others, like battered wife's, ex serviceman , children here on our own soil that are in poverty. I think we have enough needy causes here before sending abroad. My own little business and staff received an award last week for the money we have raised for charities and helping the village community. After covid we raised over £6500 which went to various charities, one a retreat for terminal children , various cancer organisations. But also money towards the children's football and cricket teams and to have defibri9 points

Even before this thread started the subject intrigued me i full believe there were releases when laws changed I don’t believe there’s breeding populations on the other hand I want to believe that there is some because it’s very interesting and I’d love nothing more than to question myself and tell the story of what I though or seen under lamp light one night lastly ive true respect for Greyman for persuading a subject that caught his interest and has committed his time and effort towards im sure we could all agree on that no? @Greyman you commented once about7 points

I/We used to donate quite a few quid to a certain childrens home near here until they told us our contributions to the home could no longer be taken and could we instead start giving it to the general trust where it would be pooled and dispersed to the areas chosen by officials.......nah mate,f**k right off !.....the whole point was to help local kids in our local area not strangers from around the globe.....yes charity begins and ends at home, once thats all in fine fettle then look to help others in need...but only then.6 points

I said before mate all but one of the sighting were around 2000 phones if you had one had crap cameras. Not many people walk around with a zoom 35mm cameras waiting for a once in a lifetime sighting. Even now a distance photo or video is going to be grainy. I the future as cameras get better on phone I sure good footage will be forth coming. "pillars of the community" bit sarky mate they are friends I trust, Don't suppose you have fiends if you can't trust what they say to be true. Cheers Arry5 points

Sandy, you believe ALL the science, stats etc etc behind covid, and a lot of that is absolute lies, yet you believe it. That's definitely you being more than a tad hypocritical.5 points

Well I put up the other day on this thread Sandy a Leopard cat shot killing chickens at Widecombe -in -the Moor 1988. I myself while out on a fox shoot in the 80's was told by the owner of the land on no account do you shoot the Ocelot, call me a liar if you like but it's 100% true. Personal I think Many Chipperfield did release 3 Pumas on Dartmoor. But I think the open Moor is not really suited to the Puma. I said I have friend and acquaintances farmers etc that have told me of their accounts and I 100% believe them, why wouldn't I. Only two of those sighting were on the edge of the Moor5 points

In the last 10yrs,I have only given to the charity fishing comp, and to get an old acquaintance back home from Ibiza after a serious accident...I would give the shirt off my back to help anyone I know who is genuine....I'm not swayed by the sight of starving kids... plenty of protein in them flies?5 points

Nah, I don't think he's enough of a wanker to say 'reaching out' - that could only come from one of those pretentious pricks at work that you want to hit with a chair5 points

Let's get back to the jist of the post shall we,theses dogs were transported to this specific field, and encouraged to kill a man's livestock,...in my eyes ,done only by scum... hunting for sport and catching game for the table is not on par with this shite4 points

Hey up,now look , no matter what the weather, i always leave the door in my lounge slightly open, i like the fresh air that blows in, but theres this ginger tom cat will nose the bloody door open, and just sit there gawping at me, ive nowt against cats even though the varmints have a crap on my little bit of front garden, so this morning, in it comes, it knows ive no time fer it, but it dunna care, so thought bugger it, it takes my mind off other things for a while, so i cooked it an egg, followed by a drop off milk, i no now i will never get shut of it but neh mind eh, its doing no harm, but3 points

Just had a message from the company i work for telling me tomorrow will be Christmas jumper day were i can donate 2 pound to save the children and were a Christmas jumper. Just looked on their website and it seems this charity seems to be more concerned about kids in other countries. My question is should charity start at home.3 points

There seems to be some evidence here and there and summing it up I believe back 90's -2000 there were Big Cats around. Now I think a fraction of that but I had a account of a black one a year to 18 month back and I believe him. So I think some must have bred. Think there is a good chance there are a few Lynx out there not hundreds but some. Think with more tail cams better phone/cameras in the not so distant future we will see some good footage. Sandy is also a tad ignorant and struggles to see beyond what he is told, there are times of the year when there may be no cats on the moors but that would just be me making things up, big cats have been picked up on at least two occasions in the Forest of Dean during deer surveys but other times none are seen, if I gave sandy all the gear in the world he still would not be able to find anything because he wouldn’t have a clue were to start, they are drawn to different environments at different times of year governed by food, cover and weather, when I take tim out in may it’s because there is3 points

I've not watched the video, nor do I intend too...I've met and know enough wankers who bring shit on top...I try and go about my business with a bit more about me than that...ive kept terriers for 30 yrs...baiting quarry, killing anyones stock/pets is for nobheads with a little cock and kids that know no better?3 points

Mate its like talking to a child playing Top Trumps.....anyone who has ever been in or near a boxing ring or has even watched enough fights will know that different fighters on different nights can provide different types of challenges for different fighters this silly triangle theory you are doing has never worked in boxing.....saying Fury beat Chisora easily but Usyk had a closer fight with Chisora therefore meaning Fury will beat Usyk is like saying David Haye wiped the floor with a PRIME Chisora and Fury couldnt even get Chisora down so Haye will obviously beat Fury ! I've changed my mind on cats in recent years I use to hate them like you but I've come to accept them ,they make a ideal low maintenance pet for someone like us who doesn't have the time for a dog at the moment or someone like you who likes a bit of low maintenance company. Also great for pest control here keeping on top of the mice we are on our second now this fellah turned up last Xmas not long after loosing our old cat to old age . New cat and old cat with the rat3 points

Dartmoor isn't the Rockies, it's pretty small with only about 50% being "wild" Moor. 5 to 10 cougars would have a massive impact and presence in the area. Its heavily studied, as demonstrated in my previous link, dotted with camera traps, filmed with drones day and night, NV and standard, naturalist studying the flora and fauna, rangers, walkers, horse riders hunters poachers etcetc so in 50 years the idea that a population of apex predators would go under the radar is unlikely. As a study area the rockies are a lot more difficult than Dartmoor but still they have a plethora of dat3 points

Are you even thinking about what you are writing ? Rocky Marciano was an all time heavyweight great....Fury is a foot taller and 6 stone heavier of course he would beat him so what ? I could get behind the wheel of a modern Formula 1 car and probably wipe the floor with Jim Clark driving what he drove back then does that make me the better driver ?.....grow up mate ffs !2 points
