I thought it was all cobblers. I have been out in the country side all my life and never seen a thing. Then and I think I mentioned it before most likely in this thread. One evening I was cycling on some back roads. Just crested the top of hill and on the left was a forestry block. I looked up and saw what was basically a bobcat type animal. It was jet black it froze as it crossed the road and looked at me. I looked down to unclip my stupid shoes and when I looked backup it was gone. I remember it well because I wouldn't say it sent a chill but it was like more of a wow moment. That was my o9 points

So found out some fuckery has been goin on at my parents place. See we have a few groups of hunters hunt our property and they been doing it for the last 20-30years. I mean honestly as long as you don't shoot the cows and leave gates open we really don't care. Well anyway these guys have put up box blinds all over the property, think there are around 10-15 . Most are home made to keep cost down and here's one for an example Well was goin to fill my deer feeder the other day and noticed one that's been in the same place since I was like 5 wasn't there anymore. As you see ,po8 points

The Minister for International Development, ( overseas aid), has been questioned today by a Select Committee, and admitted he was supprised we are still giving overseas aid to China, the worlds second biggest economy, £50 Million, and to India, the worlds fourth biggest economy, £90 million. Both bigger economies than the U.K. He said he can't think of any reason we should still be giving them aid. Well, here's an idea...........you're the minister in charge of it, so f***ing STOP IT !!!! Cheers.5 points

Mate people can say what they want. Doesn’t mean you have to silence them because you don’t agree. Personally, DC is a butty eating gimp for saying that. But I’m sure he didn’t mean any malice. Jesus over the years on here, I’ve been called dwarf, had my ex called a beaner, seen things posted I believe are wrong (and I’ve said so) debate and openness to type, sorts the/your wheat from the chaff.4 points

Magoo, you obviously don't need any help with your eyesight. You can tell a blackbird from a starling, at 500 yards.4 points

Unfortunately mate mc dull was off out to get us some thermal of feral cats about a week ago to prove your exact point but has so far let us down as was foxdropper going to post thermal of a Siamese to prove his point, but again failed to deliver, the buildings around it are the reason the scaling is taking some time and yes it is a very big tree, I,ve suggested taking a big dog there and getting some thermal of it to highlight the size but for now we will just have to wait and see, ??4 points

So it's OK for you to allow certain members on here to dish out racist remarks, left right and center, on a practically daily basis, knowing full well there are members on here with black, asian, etc partners and mixed race kids, but not OK for others to say anything about illness?! Absolutely mate!! All being well I'm trucking 3hrs North on Saturday to meet up with her and go for decent yomp in the Lakes. Doable from here but a long day. Done it a good few times now and also to have a day with a fell pack or two in the past. It's surprising what you can cram into a day if you try. Hopefully be home for the footy and and a we'll earned sup!!..?3 points

The so called beast of Exmoor was killing so many sheep they called the army in mate. A mate of mines uncle killed a leopard cat at Widecombe - in -the- Moor think it was 1988 it is documented. So many deer about they don't have to break cover to take them and probably a easier kill. Cheers Arry.3 points

Whichever nv unit you choose, the supplied/on board ir (especially vcsel) is never going to be as good as a dedicated 3rd party torch. Even below 100yds, the image quality will be better with an additional torch, its not just about the yards/range.2 points

You may well find it is ok on your side of the country as the East is generally a lot drier than the West. You are going to have to experiment with different I/r/s to see which suits your situation the best. Don’t just get an I/r go out foxing and expect everything to be good. Spend a few hours on different nights trying different things so that you know what to expect under certain circumstances. A bit of time spent practicing will give you knowledge about the product you are using and more importantly save you from falling out with it because it isn’t doing what you expected it to do out of2 points

Got an envelope yesterday from the NHS to book your seasonal covid-19 vaccination now 3 pages 2 pages in foreign languages and a leaflet about the booster. I wonder how much all this is costing as now the jab for covid it seems has now become a seasonal jab like the flu jab .2 points

Yes and there was a lot of faffing about with the i/r to get a suitable picture. I don't like having to mess about with the i/r or brightness settings etc when a fox is on the move ie: coming in quickly. What i have found is that all of the sub 1k scopes struggle with copious amounts of i/r which is what you need to reach out to the distances we tend to shoot foxes at. The reason i believe is because these scopes aren't intended for UK shooters shooting a small target (fox) at extended ranges. They are primarily designed for european and american pig shooters where as little amount of i/r as p2 points

Am I missing something, all I keep reading is excuses why people don't want to publish or report sightings because apparently they will be ridiculed or have hoards descending and ruining their quiet lives. People on this thread are asking for evidence, to date there has been no credible evidence, just silly blurred or distant or mistaken or fake images, which of course have been ridiculed. I don't see any connection to ridiculing genuine images or better still real bodies, etc. I get the impression most people here would be very happy to see something they can genuinely accept as2 points

There was a wolf sighted last year on the M5, I can't remember the junctions it was sighted between, but it was a truck driver who spotted and reported it.2 points
