At the grand age of 2 and 2/3rds Jess caught her first rabbit and second. She’s well honed on the ferreting front which is what she primarily will be “but” itchy feet found me trying her on the lamp about a month a go and to put it bluntly she was horrific not watching the lamp and seeing nowt… tonight was a different story and you’d think she had done it for years. Conditions were shite nae wind and relativity light but I thought f**k it let’s see. Into the field and picked out a bunny and off she went, to be honest I don’t think she saw it and just went down the beam and stumbled across it,

Amber is an English foxhound bitch I brought at the tender of 12 weeks old, at present she's about 8 months old .I've taken her with the rest of my pack of rabbiting /bushing dogs from day one, and she has never been a pup, apart from the odd play with another member ,when she felt like it . Amber is all about work, her cast has always had plenty of distance, even at such a young age .She is a delight to share time with.

Slow cooker pheasant wrapped in bacon with potatoes, carrots red onion chicken stock pot and parsnips. Used the meat juices to make gravy. I accept presentation isn't brilliant, but it tasted great! Stripped the meat left, which i will eat in a sandwich tomorrow. The dog enjoyed liking the bowl and the cats enjoyed picking over the carcass. Winners all round!

It's been a long week and a long day again (still 2 days to go) - it's been raining since I started at 2am and finished at 2pm. ........ Anyway, quick dinner from FarmFoods - the vegetable medley wash shite, the barbecue ribs were pretty good.

Well it's winter ever one I know put a whole rabbit in the box with them now can you tell me watts wrong with that the ferrets eat when they want why put bits of food in with them every day ? well its definitely works in winter time maybe not as much in summer time I know that here some pictures off ferrets that get fed once a week now when I say once a week u may be picking me up wrong here there's food in with them the whole week because the rabbits isn't took out on till its completed finish then another freshly one put in all fed once a week so it working over here very well as I said befo
