This thread has triggered some memories, like the fact you could walk into the abbatoir stand and talk to the killers pick up tripe, heads, oxtails etc, drop the gaffer a couple of quid and walk out again. Pretty much go where you wanted and within reason do what you wanted. We had the best of it.7 points

An old rabbiters lurcher died and a few years later the hunter died too and they met again in the clouds on the other side. They walked for ages until they saw a man in beautiful robes standing at some huge golden gates. The robed man opened the gates and the hunter and dog went to walk through. You are welcome but dogs are not allowed here said the robed guy. The hunter said thanks and turned and kept walking. They came to a set of old rusty gates and a farmer in ragged clothes. Come in mate said the farmer, but what about my dog said the old hunter. Everyone is welcome here mate, bring your7 points

f**k being a copper taking on that calibre of lunatic with nothing more than a taser. I wouldn’t have the temperament for it at all. Soon as a knife is involved I’d want a benelli handy. What a f***ing sad game.6 points

That bald copper prancing about behind him could have put that batton across the side of his head a couple of times and ended that faster. It's no good sticking to protocols when your dealing with these nutters.6 points

David Beckham in tears as he views Queen's coffin after queueing for 13 hours NEWS.SKY.COM The former English football captain was seen by Sky News wearing a dark flat cap, suit and tie as he waited to... fair play to the lad. I offered to get him in with me ont VIP but he said he wanted to queue with the people.5 points

You are getting mixed up with the States. British cops wouldn't dare use the gun for fear of some backstabbing gaffer to hang them out to dry to preserve the Force's diversity image. Knife crime is a strange beast. In my experience most knives I took off people were in two groups; the vulnerable victims of society who stupidly thought a knife would protect them from bullies, and secondly the ones who were overcome by grief, rage, drugs, alcohol or emotions and took up a knife to get attention. I didn't come across the East Europeans / Slavs / Turks who know how to use them or the black y4 points

The Taser only works if it has stuck and the wires are not disconnected. Even then it only works for a few seconds and is only really effective for people with normal reasoning. Drugs, rage and alcohol can reduce normal reasoning. Normally you only get one or two zaps before you lose power or connectivity. Batons are less than useless. They are designed not to hurt people to reduce compensation claims. Why wasn't the knife collected earlier? Because the officer collecting the knife then has to follow protocols to ensure that it can be used as evidence with the offender's dna and prints on4 points

Lovely looking hound mate looks really well....but this is where i just cant see the connection between gamedog knowledge and running dog knowledge you are looking for a high level of general health and fitness where bulldog folk are looking for a one time peak at a very specific weight....the last part of a bulldogs keep is far from a safe place for the dog as his hydration level is at a bare minimum, body fat is low and blood counts are in the extreme.....he's in amazing physical condition but not completely healthy. Bulldog folk dont feed a dog for good general health thats where the pr4 points

I enjoy working ALL terriers of any colour or breed... I can even remember being out quite often with working fox terriers very early 90s... and they got fired work... but I'm not knocking any terriers... even a fair few Cork terriers don't make it ?...4 points

Parked up for mam and dad's ice cream with a sea view and captivated by these charming little chaps and chapess'. Holding their own amongst the gulls. Used to consider them stop gap ferret food. Very common at one time, hundreds or even maybe thousands of them would be around at certain times of the year. Don't see that many around now.4 points

I took out a 17 stone county champion power lifter. Had him fast asleep in less than 10 seconds. Another one, a 6' 4" builder the same. But one tiny, scrawny, septegenarium lady who was being served with a mental health order almost had me beat. When they don't feel any pain all the Far Eastern judo, jujitsu, akedo......... moves are a waste of time and you can't smack someone's granny on the chin with mental health officers watching idly by. She gouged, bit, scratched, spat, kicked, the lot. Just like a feral cat when cornered. And then of course I had to explain to the custody sergeant3 points

Question: Who here would be the copper doing someone up the side of the canister with a baton after we have allowed blacks to totally control the narrative on the criminal justice system for 30 years ? If he dies you are going down as a sacrifice to the tribes as has been proven time and time again. Its easy to say “should have done this” or “should have done that” but you have to understand the context the police (and all of us really) are having to operate in with these f***ing animals. We have slowly derided and attacked those who are meant to protect us into a force of3 points

Load of bullshit protocols to go through first probably. Everyone shouting 'get back' so they can be seen to be giving him a chance to stop. So concerned about being filmed and prosecuted that they gave him TOO many chances, and looked what happened.3 points

That's it,gone are the days were you could load up the pick up go digging and not run the risk of being stopped on your way home, with marked up terriers and a lurcher...I know too many lads that's happened too(unlucky enough to be stopped driving cars, pick ups are the kiss of death along with vans and small SUV's),they go back to your house and they throwing the book at you for meds in the fridge,DNA testing your shovels and boots etc, pictures on the walls of dogs long gone, even owning certain books is no good ?..couple that with the anti cnuts and dog walkers with phones....harder and harder3 points
