Too many mates ex forces and still serving, nothing but respect from me... never served a day in my life but been very close to a few of them and seen the mental and physical scans from war first hand... Calling them thick, mercenaries, cannon fodder etc is the talk of a c**t imo11 points

my dad,my uncles,my Nan's brothers and my cousins all served or still in,my half bro is in the navy?most of my school mates served as well...my only regret in life is not joining myself...I went to a YOI at 15? and had a firearms ban until was 21...the reason we all get to sleep at night is because of the actions of the lads and lasses that serve this country ...some folks shout never forget that?6 points

They've started down here, not sure about the rest of u? Although for now I'll stick to this.5 points

OK... but what makes any of us who support British troops sheep? You have decided the UK is the baddie in everything and have your reasons...I guess you do f**k all different to the rest of us and wouldn't say anything to my mates face who lost his leg in Afghanistan, and since helped set up the invictus games, became a motivational speaker, and worked loads for charities... he's a bit mad, a good laugh and a good mate... he ain't thick by a long stretch and supporting the likes of him makes me a sheep?5 points

Absolutely true. I last seen the child at my house and he was doing well. Im not in touch with the father now, but I also hope the kid has had a full recovery. But it's not really about them, it's about someone like Bronson, who still has/had the feelings to help out with charity appeals. I honestly wish I had the winning bid for the picture, the money went to a great cause and I wouldn't have parted with the pic, unless like now, Bronson was back in the news and it could have benefited another worthy charity. I know they go for big money on line.....certain people wil5 points

I retired aged 51, I'm 70 now, and I've never regretted a moment. Im busy all the time and consider myself reasonably fit for my age. Isnt there a saying about work expanding to fit the time available ? Some days I just don't have the time to accomplish everything I have planned. Retirement is what you make of it ? Cheers.5 points

Will he really come out with something that will shock the world ?? Think we are pretty much unshockable, just hearing what our mps get up to ,or vicars humping Dysons have numbed us ,all he'll say is the prison, justice system is corrupt, like we didn't know that ?? I hope he says hmp woodhill is run by aliens and they experiment on the inmates ,and members of the Royal family go there regularly to watch the experiments !!4 points

It’s just what I pick up off the floor at work mostly mate so as I’m getting paid as well I just go down the easiest route, don’t mind separating a bit but not stripping like I used to when I did it for a wage, mad thing is most of the youngsters ask me what I,m doing then start chucking me any stuff they find but it seems a bit below most people nowadays to make money from muck, just finished loading the back of the car and she’s quite down on the suspension so hopefully a reasonable pay day for little effort had enough for one day so I,ll take it in the morning ??4 points

You do things for yourself mate, don’t try to compete or be someone else, just do what makes you happy and feck everybody else ??4 points

I wouldn't consider myself some kind of hero and who knows how you'd react when bullets are flying round but I honestly can't imagine not doing anything knowing kids were getting shot I hope I'd try and rush the gunman even if I wasn't armed at all. I don't know how any of the police or whatever they were can sleep at night all them guns all that body armour and they let it carry on so long they should hang their heads in shame.4 points

In a past life, I was on a council. Another year passed. Another AGM. Another vote for the officers to serve in the forthcoming year. As usual, the hon. secretary was motioning me to vote for myself. This seemed pretty standard practice. We'd always done it. And Don would vote for Tom. And Tom for Don. Everything always went smoothly. Only, this time, for some reason now lost to me? I thought 'Fukk that! It just doesn't seem right. We all vote ourselves in. In one nice, comfy circle jerk of status quo maintenance. This can't be how proper shit functions! It's a closed shop! " I4 points

WTF is going on here. We were compelled to vote for the least worst? Not who we genuinly back. Now he has been kicked out because of internal buggery and shithousery they pick among themselves who will be best next? And they can't even decide on that? Like a bingo game?! This set of c**ts in houses of parliment, around 600people, are somehow setting rules laws and judging for 60million plus? 1 in 100,000 people get in that shit show called houses of 'commons' There is nothing common about them. They are in the top percentile. I bet the No of them in the top 10% riches4 points

Because he is too modest to do it, I can actually show you what my pal was at while on one of his multiple tours because somebody took the time to immortalise it on film…..don’t be a halfwit mate, we have one of them already4 points

I would like to see the bbc do a documentary on how Tony Blair ended up being worth £ 50 million. The Real war criminals are Bush , Blair and the people how controlled them .4 points

I think you got my point completely.. You made some big statements about soldiers being thick, only used as cannon fodder etc etc... you would not say the same to someones face... he's one lad who when he was injured continued to support other soldiers with actions, not words, he is certainly not thick and would tell you to f**k off if you said that to him.. the same as Socks and Stiff on here... you've just thrown a shit load of negativity towards our armed forces as you love the "west is the enemy" theory in every situation... so the lads serving are just another object for you to try3 points

Love nights, I work. 17:00 to 05:00 4 on 4 off, my ideal hours. Sometimes miss weekend stuff but I've always worked them anyway. Cheers, D.3 points

Anyone remember the collection and raffle on , I think it was , Moochers, for a lad who's child needed cancer treatment, and Maxhardcore contacted Bronson to donate one of his paintings, which he did, and Max put it into the raffle and , again I think, it was MB paid £200 for ? I may be wrong on the details, I'm sure Max will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure Bronson donated pictures for charity, and Max passed one on to this worthy cause. Cheers.3 points

Similar story with me, my brother has done army, navy, marines and foreign legion.....its a bit embarrassing to admit I didn't have the nerve to join up because I was such a fussy eater . I lived off crisp butties till I met my wife ? Fck eating ration packs "dido....eat your food soldier" "can't, got a bean phobia corporal"3 points

Let my old man have all my scrap now, he comes round the sites in his van and clears it for us, keeps him ticking over and he enjoys the crack with the lads... Was always beer tokens working away, had some good lumps from Ali and lead over the years.. Prices aren't bad at the moment I dont think, steel over £90 ton last I heard...it was £80 down here not that long ago... not scrapped any lead for a while though3 points

I second that. I injured my back several years ago (fell off a sodding chair while hiding my son's birthday presents in the top of the wardrobe?) and, after repeated visits to the doctor was eventually signed up to a physio for about half a dozen sessions. She put me onto pilates but, because I'm a bit of an old hippy, I went for yoga instead. I still get the occasional bad day but a bit of yoga every day keeps it pretty much in check...that and zero drop footwear.??3 points

Yoga is the way to go and you will soon see a difference if you stick to it ,posture and breathing the right way is the trick to balance not pumping iron and any gym worth it's name will tell you that ,plenty free yoga groups for those with medical problems .3 points

Thats what I was thinking, is it best to cook fish as I've tried my 3 on raw Mackrell and they won't go near it ,only time they bother with raw fish is when they find a rotten one along the river to roll in the dirty b....ds ,3 points

So I retired a few years ago, but I am now busier than ever in other ways. I will never stop till they nail the lid down over my dead carcase. I have hunted my entire life and practiced most forms of the sport and although I see good reason to change what I hunt etc and the methods used, I dont see a valid reason to stop. I honestly believe that hunters are born and not made and if your a born hunter it stays with you no matter what, it just changes with circumsta3 points

You’ve no idea of mission command , the three block war , or the orders process so it’s pointless arguing with you . the best days of my life were as a section commander in airborne forces , the freedom to impose your will on the lads as a mentor , a coach and as a friend was a burden I felt I carried with reverence . last month I had two messages from two young lads who were part of my section , one is now an officer , the other is now something else . In both cases I actively encouraged them to better themselves and to try something different . I felt a sense of real achievement3 points

September I think my favourite month Kev great sea fishing, good for mushrooms and fungi. Ferreting end of the month to train Kits up. Still warm (usually) leaves starting to turn nice light. As you said in another post telling your kids how lucky they are to live where live. My old man would stop look around and say "do you know people down here don't appreciate where they live". I don't think theres a days ferreting with my mate that we don't stop look at the view and say you cant buy that. Probably just trying to catch our breath us old fuckers Lol.
