Feel for the fella and his family ,but it's been mentioned ,when you are in a foreign country with different laws ,different culture ,different standards and practices then you must respect them .......unless you come to a western European country ,then you can do what the fuk you like .5 points

I think WILF meant that people were doing overtime and only earning an extra 20 quid because of the extra tax. I found that when I worked cards in on a farm for more or less minimum wage.....you would do stupid hours extra overtime at lambing or silaging and be buzzing waiting for the pay packet only to realise it really wasn't worth it. Do you pay more tax on overtime hours? I'm not sure Sort of agree with the food banks. I think it's lack of intelligence that causes it in some people. They really can't work out that they are paying for so many 'extras'....expensive phone contracts, Netf4 points

I take a slightly different view mate, why shouldn’t people have those things…..do we want people in abject misery before we approve of them having to beg food so they don’t starve ? I don’t. Theres government ministers flying about in cars they didn’t pay for, full of Fuel they didn’t pay for, heading to a lunch they won’t pay for and collecting money that was once yours for the trouble……nah mate, some poor f****r having a telly is pretty far down the list of things we shouldn’t approve of imho mate?4 points

I saw a story relating to this on the news about the foodbank issue and the cost of living crisis last night and how we were all doomed which was closely followed by a report that holiday bookings had increased by a 140% and airports were struggling because of the surge and they couldn't employ staff to do the work! Surely if you struggle financially the first thing you would do is find a job (if you dont have one) reports show a record high of 1.1million vacancies or take on a extra part time job, closely followed by dropping the annual holiday until you got straight? Everyone has bad dogs now and again it’s just part of it, anyone that says they ain’t you want to be taking with a massive pinch of salt and whatever you do don’t get a pup off them, that’s good advice if you choose to take it3 points

Benefits cost the UK tax payers £212 BILLION per year. Thats 25% of the entire tax take. Of course, there are people who need the safety net of benefits, but lets be honest, we all know people who are cheating the system. What annoys me is when a politician cheats the system, it's barely a slap on the wrist. The punishment for cheating the benefit system is far more severe ! C'est la vie...... Cheers.3 points

Interesting point and I suppose its all relative. There's a very close relation of mine and his wife who both get PIP, a brand new car every 3 years (they even pay for upgrades on the motor) he got food parcels delivered when the lockdown was on and gets food vouchers. He will get the £600 fuel thing, don't pay any council tax gets help with the rent on his 3 bed house (just him and his wife) and are both claiming enough to be able to have two holidays a year in fact he's said he's better off now than he ever been, 53 not worked for 10years and has no intention of ever going back to work3 points

This is quiet an interesting number, the Ukraine thing has been going on what ? 3 months ? The U.K. has given them so far £850 MILLION in various type of aid……that’s £850 MILLION of YOUR money. Sort of knocks the poor c**t down the food bank begging a can of beans into a cocked hat really don’t it3 points

My attitude to stuff can be summed up quiet simply mate, be kind to your own. It hard to have a decent conversation via the written word, so much gets lost and it comes across like I’m having a go at people all the time when I’m really not…..it’s just a chin wag so to speak. I know lots of people do it but I’m always very uneasy with kicking those at the bottom when those at the top are such c**ts……not everyone is cut from the same cloth mate, that’s why there are people who start companies and people who work for companies. I’m all for taking control of your own future, I spent3 points

I think there is a massive culture of blame the victim mate. The fact is, there may well be a trillion vacancy’s but if people can’t afford to live on what they are paying then they won’t take them. Taking an extra part time job May either be not worth it from a tax point of view or in lost benefits which would again push people even further into poverty. The old bill round my old way were nicking people with an evening job delivering take away because their car insurance isn’t “commercial” !!’ What chance do people have with that type of mentality from government ? Up at my mates for an hour tonight to clear a few more off the freshly drilled game cover, winged and fur, took a couple of hoppers down to where I seen the fox the other night, gave it 40 minutes or so but didn’t see anything, I can’t wait until all this wheat is down, over the summer I just spend my time wishing my life away, dreaming of stubble fields3 points

Pigeons grandfather to grand daughter etc but beauty is there time frames quicker turn around can figure things out pretty quickly if a outcross breeding hasn’t worked and cull hard infact you don’t even have to cull if it doesn’t come home it’s not good enough simple but i guarantee anyone serious isn’t flying scatter bred stuff they’ll have certain different family’s of pigeons and in split lofts but if for example someone not as good lands on the golden once in a life time bird up there in all the club races then the nationals what does he do put it to every hen he can along with2 points

On another note, I have always said this is the main problem with the welfare system, enforced charity is no charity at all imho Dint get me wrong, I think there should be a safety net for people, 100% but when ordinary folks are getting the life wrung out of them for every little thing it creates a “them & us” type culture. In reality, the welfare cost is absolutely minuscule when you take into account all the other stuff the government iron our money out on but they always want to point folks in the direction of the poor c**t who is trying to keep a family alive on £300 a week2 points

See I agree with some of what you say but really what sort of tax rate means you only earn £20 a day ? And even if that was the case I would rather earn £20 and feed my family than go to a food bank, but that's just me. I don't think I said users of foodbanks use them for the "kudos" either but I do believe that for many its a easier option than "cutting back" and has become the acceptable norm, I would rather cancel my netflix that use a food bank but again that's just me. I enjoy your posts but do get confused at them at times, you bang the drum for the old times, patriotism and t2 points

totally agree with the above but there are a lot of people that abuse the food banks which is a shame fot the ones that really need it2 points

It looks to me that you are setting your Wires to low though their dos not seem to be much traffic on those runs , if you are just starting out i would wait until late September when the ground is clearer and the runs better defined and of course there will be more Rabbits if they are left to breed . Snaring is not hard to pick up but i think you have started on the wrong . type of land for a novice and you will soon get disheartened2 points
