Got to laugh...pulling up threads from 10 yrs back ...in the hope some mug blows some smoke up his arse? If he was the real deal...then he wouldn't of had a 10 yr break... dogs are a way of life for true dogmen.you don't stop just because of a ban,no amount of personal strife , starting a family etc..once your in,you ain't getting out??10 points

You come on a forum blowing your trumpet and shining golden rainbows out yer arse pal. You might of had a good dog or two but you was breeding for the money and still trying to get into it there's a lot better dogs about than what you bred back int 'day and will still be better dogs about when you start peddling pups again you've seen the prices divvys are asking for dogs and thought you'd jump on the wagon. I've a 8 month old coursing bred pup here get one of your "longdogs" well have a spin out soon as crops are down and see what proper stock is and guarantee it will of been a fraction of th7 points

No mate, I don’t think of him that way at all. Yes he can get a bit passionate and over excited but then again, most in here can. But you can have a decent craic with Francie and even if it gets a bit heated he moves on and will be as good as gold with you on another thread. He is passionate about the things he believes, nothing wrong with that imho ?7 points

A rather rude and big headed comment there kid?..no one cares who you are or what you have/don't have. Preloved for the peddlers ?7 points

They are expensive but I do a lot of mole trapping and up on the fell the gates are very narrow, I want a light 4wd that won’t rip the fields up, well big enough for me. They will go anywhere anything else will. I also do a lot of fishing and ferreting, will be a godsend for me, I have a Octavia scout car, brilliant motor , been using it for trapping when it has been dry, I won’t part with my car but will get the Jimny and put some good tyres on. You are only here once, I have the coin for it, I work bloody hard, 46 hours a week at work and trapping 3 or 4 hours everyday and weekends, I am tre5 points

I thought it may be an interesting conversation and it could have been, but then bingo, just like that a total f***ing plank like you rocks up......luckily enough we have Dogman, Len and Francie here to prove that not all Irish blokes are as thick as shit ?5 points

I don't have an opinion either way on whether big cats are resident or not in the UK, but can say that over here where i hunt, there is a (supposedly) fairly large population of cougars (mountain lion). In the 9years i have been here, I have never seen one in the flesh, and no one i hunt with has, and some of those lads have hunted around there for 35 years. I have ran 4 game cameras on and off for the last 5 years and never had a photo of one either, and never seen one dead on the road. But they are around, the lads that hunt / tree them with dogs get them, the ranchers lose cattle to them,5 points

Well, I’ve got a Simmons WTC 3.5-10 x 50 on mine. Set up at 100, point and shoot out to 120. Hmr isn’t a 150 yard fox calibre, 100 yards maybe, head shot. I don’t rate them for anything other than head shot on fox. They will work but tend to run on engine room shots. 20 grain are your best bet for that. WMR is a better rimfire for fox imo.4 points

I remember this guy....he used to phone me sometimes.... As an aside,...there is possibly no easier hybrid to produce than a Whippet, (KC or Hard-Blood) put over a Greyhound....Ive seen big heavyweight, 'Scratch Dogs' muller all sorts of critters,..it ain't unexpected,...it is, what it is..?4 points

Popped up to one of my rabbit permissions last night just to to see what the numbers were like , disappointed as there wasnt much about . Expected to see lots of young bunnies but nothing , even the pregnant does I shot weren't that far on . I'm sure it will change over the next month though. Started off taking a rook off a fresh barley drilling followed by a rat with a large abscess on its side. Saw plenty hares, mallard, geese but not many rabbits ?? On dusk I popped back to where I shot the rat as the holes in the hedgerow were well used and ended up having some great fun zapping the long4 points

Apparently it's different for different artists too. Asked my buddy who raps Ina studio as a hobby and he says some do it so they can hear certain beats or instruments better. And so do it so they don't hear anything at all which helps them preform better4 points

I'm returning to the breeding post im awaiting two well bred Irish greyhounds imported by a big mate of mine who i e known for over 30 odd years fingers crossed I will endeavour to prevail a new bloodline of whippet x greyhounds longdogs. They will e bred to the very best coursing whippet in order to breed and subsequently produce some of the best material one can possibly imagine.4 points

After losing my pouch with 3 mags in a couple of weeks ago, I have been thinking about a change of gun, not to replace my Impact but to run alongside for different jobs as I am not wildly happy with my .177 hw 110k, nothing wrong with the gun but I preferred my old .22 110k. Anyway, after some searching for an FX Verminator in .22 fac but the only one I could find was a Mk1 and a few years old at that, so time to think again. I went to the rfd today and decided that whilst I like the 110k with the black rubberised beech stock, I just fancied a change so here we go a 110k laminate. A quic3 points

Well my time and effort paid off tonight, was walking over a barley field and a hare jumped out from under a bold hollow tree stump half a yard in front of the dog, I shouted leave it and she stopped and sat down and watched it run away, right down the field under a gate and over the road, could easily have had a dead dog.3 points

Hitting a red bull can at 10 to 15 meters for a new starter is good going , and as for pictures , I would of thought it was obvious he meant stick a pic up off his catty and set up with couple of the shots he’s made , no difrence in Him sticking a pic up of his new catty than you sticking a picture up of a ferret box you’ve made , they all look the same ,box, lid , strap ,, but still people like seeing them ,3 points

Yeah it's been a bad year for outside kept birds weather's been too cold. I've heard of some hens coming off the nest leaving young. Then some young not eating because of the cold not enough energy stored up. This chap in question put a 20watt lamp under the nest. The chicks came good an started feeding again ?. It's crazy. I've just had these little diamonds hatch 3 Isabel pastel goldfinches there's another two eggs to hatch yet. I've got these in my house in my spare room I've made into a birdroom heating and lighting another hen I've got on 4 more eggs ready in next few days3 points

You can read any one of francie’s posts to see clearly he’s a stereotypical paddy. Dumb as dog shit with a chip on both shoulders with his big potato head stuck firmly in the past, bleating on instead of moving forwards. ? ??3 points

I see these type of posts going sadly wrong because some must claim have to have the very best ,better than any of the rest as the song goes ,but is it really that important as long as the owner is happy with their own dogs ,why should it matter to anybody else .I find my happy place, like many others ,when I'm out with my dogs ,how good they might be compared to some body else's dog is just not that important to me ,I just don't care & I'm happy enough if I see a good dog working that doesn't belong to me, to pass on praise to the owner about the dog ,however just remember a dog doesn't3 points

Just another pic , pinpointed the break out artists and sold em off. Toolk all of 15min from getting the herd in to,sorting and loading, basically just walked in the trailer, kinda boring actually, makes me miss the days when I was jumping up the side of the catch pen as a pissed off ole cow came charging . But what can ya do,changing times and all ?Brought pretty decent for just four.3 points

I think Nellie is about 41/2 months old now & she hasn't grown much at all ,a bit more length in the loin that's about it .She looks like 100% whippet and shows no kelpie at all ,however she's very very zippy ,runs tight corners and can change direction on a dime ,I will update some pictures in the next couple of days .I will use her along side the ferrets & long nets.2 points

Great offer for someone ? you might struggle at this time of year though as they are breeding and there’s plenty of young in the ground would you not be better putting this in the shooting section atb BB2 points
