You know when I said I've only ever shot one snipe with a muzzleloader and probably wont again? Well I have this morning! One was an easy 30yds but the other was a fast left to right, second barrel at 40yds plus! That's good for a frontstuffer! Quite pleased ?10 points

I was up and out this morning having a bit rake about in some local spots with the old dog and the youngster. The old lakey let's you know if anything is home, dropped him in a 2 holer and sat back. After a bit baying and bumping and banging out came charlie. Off she went for another day, back in the house for 08:45.9 points

Attack their industry Attack their culture Tell then they have no culture worth preserving and instead get them to embrace a more debased culture shipped from far away land Encourage loss of their blood line by promoting interbreeding in media and television adverts. Make laws to stop them speaking out about it and destroy them if they do Attack their church Attack their pocket Throw their young in the scrap heap and import the 3rd world to replace them Take every opportunity to tell them how good these 3rd world people are and how worthless they are8 points

Me and Geth (White van man) are getting too old to be crawling in and out of hedges now, time to bring the young ones on...so his 2 lads and my Fin picked up our slack today...only a quick 4 hour trip, it was pretty cold and rain coming in later, we were finished by 12 but a great morning doing a couple of "bits in the hedges" ....basically we picked a couple of easier parts of 2 hedges a struck lucky (the dogs marking helps a bit lol)... the boys can all now set a long net and purse net...handle ferrets confidently and almost keep quiet lol... Plus Geths young dog is coming on lovely, wo6 points

It an old Farm House mate where my Lad and Wife and Granddaughter live in one wing of his wife parents place. It's a beautiful place thatched with wood-burners fantastic views out buildings where my lad has his office. On the side of Dartmoor with fields and miles of Woodland on the doorstep. A place where you dream of, one day if I win the lotto Lol. Cheers Arry5 points

Remember going into Ironmongers to buy wires rabbit or fox, purse nets or a box of cartridges, used to love the smell of the cardboard 12 bore cartridges. Even the smell of the store it self. We still have a fairly good Ironmongers where you can just one screws, bolt or catch but it don't smell the same. None of the above any more. Those indeed were the days. Cheers Arry4 points

I quite like Penny Mordaunt. Her dad was an officer in the Parachute Rgiment, and she is/was in the Royal Navy Reserves. I especially like her comment about BLM; " I would like for some found guilty of vandalising such memorials, that they would spend some time in the company of our service personnel ". What a girl ! If you put birds to wood , you have a responsibility to them to keep feeding them . It’s just not fair , your neighbour has I dare say enjoyed some sport from his birds ? It’s not on really . To me it shows that he is not a responsible sportsman.4 points

Its an interesting subject though mate.... I think we all have addictive tendencies, I know I have thats why I never touched drugs... but have drank too much at times, more a case of not wanting the good night to end....I would hate to be in a position where I was gasping for drugs... We all know mates, relatives, associates who go too far.... no doubt coke has changed the Saturday night out, its rife in every town, along with steroids, beards and tattoos...the Instagram look is all important...lol But that true addiction, that makes you a selfish robbing, sad and lonely person4 points

I'm really enjoying this! Got up, today. Looked out there. There they are! Snuffling around the spot where I put their grub. Two of them, together. Presumably a pair? I got on with my own shit. Eventually, having downed enough tea to stand up unsupported, I gathered up all the grub for everyone and went on my breakfast run; Cheese for the little birds. Seed for the flock. Soaked dog food and day old chicks for the foxes. I put it all in its usual places and walk away, calling the birds and foxes. Sneakily having a furtive scan out the corner of my eye for red faces. you think Starmer would do a slightly better job, dream on, we`ve had labour running wales for years, the only thing they are managing to run is wales into the fecking ground, what this country needs is more people to get up off their fat arses and vote, just don`t vote for any of the mainstream party candidates as their main obligation is to the party, not the electorate3 points

I haven’t spoken to my boss yet . It’s still sinking in . I have been prepared for it though. We have shot 9 of our 12 days , so not a disaster. The syndicate understood the chance they took . My feeling is I might catch up the hens , cull the cocks and keep a bit of feed going . I will see if I can sell the hens . If not , I might rear a few myself. It’s the commercial shoots who had a full diary for January that are going to suffer . I know micro plasma is starting to rear it’s head with the high stocking density shoots that haven’t thinned out their numbers because o3 points

If I had to take my last breath it would be looking out over our islands. I’ve travelled a bit and seen some amazing sights but give me a Scottish sunset and a few fish in the boat any day of the week3 points

They still have an old fashioned thing here and to give it a name I’m going to call it “community shame”.......do something wrong and everyone knows about it and it follows you. In more extreme cases you are shunned altogether. We have lived in an “everything’s OK, be what you want to be and do what you want to do” social construct for a long time now. Nothing mattered, nobody said no, a man could be a woman and a woman a man, lower the age of homosexual consent so that grown men can legally bugger children, smoke the dope, don’t say anything nasty to anyone about their life cho3 points

I know people look back with rose tinted glasses, but am I dreaming that my parents had four kids in a slum ? Am I dreaming that when my dad was put out of work he had no social security or benefits worth talking about to fall back on ? Am I dreaming that kids had rickets, T B , and some went to school in summer wearing a balaclava because they were ashamed that their heads had been shaved and painted blue because of nits ? I could go on and on, but I guess you get the point. Anyone who thinks we are worse off now than in the past are the ones that are dreaming........3 points
