He sold them as fox dogs, out of fox dogs... They carry wheaton through the dam.... All this talk of other things is a tad silly on an open forum....if the lads are happy with them... Then that's all that matters, what will be, will be ?7 points

Me and Geth (White van man) are getting too old to be crawling in and out of hedges now, time to bring the young ones on...so his 2 lads and my Fin picked up our slack today...only a quick 4 hour trip, it was pretty cold and rain coming in later, we were finished by 12 but a great morning doing a couple of "bits in the hedges" ....basically we picked a couple of easier parts of 2 hedges a struck lucky (the dogs marking helps a bit lol)... the boys can all now set a long net and purse net...handle ferrets confidently and almost keep quiet lol... Plus Geths young dog is coming on lovely, wo6 points

I find it very hard but I agree with that mate, and that's from over 10 years in the "system" of first hand experience... There is such a mixture of nurses from absolute angels to those who truly only care about the pay packet...2 of the standout nurses for us were foreign, a Fillipino and Eastern European (Polish i think?), they were exactly what nurses should be, tentative, caring and the very same to everyone on the ward. Like I say for 10 years we've been in and out of the hospitals, here and in London (my wife's main consultant us Professor Hart, in St Marks Hospital North London...a6 points

If there is one thing I hate its snow! If there is one thing I love hunting in its snow! As you know I've been feeding a fox. Think my trail cam just packed up but the fox had taken a pheasant I left it after I breasted the meat. This morning was my first chance to get out after a few days of bad gout. The forecast was snow but went out anyway. I moved into the patch I knew it was living in. Checked the baiting point. Pheasant gone and two of the three squirrels still present. After I approached a gate, opened it, went through it, shut it, looked down the long meadow6 points

Not a mountain bike but I have to consider space so folding bikes seem the way forward for me, bought a Ferrari one a few years back for £150 worth around £700 and found this one in a bag in the engine bay of the boat I just bought, going on eBay for around £700/£800 Brompton seems to be the one all the tree huggers want, so I have around £1500 worth of bikes for a total of £150 ???5 points

The NHS has no culture of professionalism at all. Its a massive box ticking operation with a massive sprinkling of PC nonsense on the top ! Im absolutely positive that people who enter that underpaid profession do so for all the right reasons but they are overwhelmed by the culture. Its simply shocking ! The difference between private and the NHS is literally night and day, and the worst bit is that it’s things that don’t cost money like giving someone a good bollocking for getting basic stuff wrong......in the NHS this is routinely tolerated but not in private care.4 points

Anyone slagging nurses and the NHS will soon change their minds if they find themselves in a life threatening situation.......... Cheers.4 points

Not read any further than your opening post and would just like to add, things don’t happen like that in life, if you do a favour for some one you should not expect one back from that person, never give anything to receive back, give it out of kindness and karma will return the favour to you further down life’s road mate, I offer people help all the time but my problem is the way I look, they think I want to rob them and are very guarded so your damned if you do and damned if you don’t, but you do it for you so none of it matters, ??4 points

Remember this picture in the summer ? I don’t particularly but the mainstream media is making it into a thing with a huge agenda . Look at this big noble black Man saving this worthless racist . what numerous tv interviews , newspaper articles won’t say is that the white lad was kicked to f**k by a pack of savages . that big old lad did a very good act , no taking away from it . But he was there in the first place to “prevent police oppression “. the guy has a book out , i flicked through it in Tesco tonight as I can’t believe how big this has got. The4 points

It just grinds me the adulation the NHS gets when there have been other essential services through out this year that have received no credit. NHS staff get to walk past the queues in the supermarket but the bin men, sewer workers, shop workers etc still have to queue, there not all the angels the media like to make out.3 points

No mate you must be thought people would like the truth as some people bought them as something there not. Anyways I couldn't give a f**k about the dog or the pups or who ever has bought a pup as something else. Or you tbh3 points

from BASC...... Tier 4 restrictions Outdoor recreational shooting remains permissible in Tier 4 areas subject to two conditions. Firstly, you should only travel locally to shoot. Secondly, when shooting you should only meet with people you live with, your support bubble, or with one other person. In light of these conditions BASC does not consider that driven game shooting or other recreational group shooting activities should take place. Taking part in recreational shooting is not a reasonable excuse to enter or leave a Tier 4 area. Shooting-related essential wo3 points

I recon they were built because no one not even the government knew how severe this virus would be..and maybe the various lockdowns and rules etc.have helped to reduce covid cases.. Even if they haven't been used.it is a good thing that they were built just in case surely..3 points

Hey guys, absolute newbie to fieldsports here. Being furloughed since April has meant that I've finally had the time to divulge in a lifestyle I've only ever dabbled with. Its mostly been spent getting my eye in on a ratting permission, and taking the odd rabbit, but I took a step closer to my dream of having a working dog and ruined my life by bringing home a little lurcher pup last weekend too. I dont use social media, so finding this site is a bit of a god send tbh. Looking forward to meeting some likeminds.2 points
