Update on the sightmark wraith now I’m going to take a leaf out of meece’s book here, after playing about with it a bit, less is definitely more, now I’m a big fan of high mag, quality glass scopes but this thing works best on 4x mag and is crystal clear you are more than capable of dropping foxes at 100/120 at this mag and a single red dot Reticle is by far the best this old dog was approximately 90 yards and the image was picture perfect, again it came off next doors shoot i had a go at another one that was easily over 300 yards that I would of been more than confident with t9 points

Well it was the 1st shoot today but unfortunately the weather hadn't read the script. It was misty and drizzle all day so consequently never saw as many pheasants as was expecting but we had a bonus first thing as there was some 70 greylags on a stubble which we managed to drive over the guns with the youngest member (14) taking his 1st goose ? Luckily our ducks flew great and I took a couple of screamers which I was chuffed with. We still flushed quite a few pheasants but they never really flew due to being soaked. Hopefully get a dry day next shoot and bagging a few more pheasants.8 points

Sadly you are correct in USA as a whole but there's some of us rednecks who chose not to register. When you choose not to register it makes the peddlers and dog pimps run away. I didn't find good terriers in US until I decided to never buy another or ask for a pedigree. My father always said Registration papers don't make a hunting dog but it's the only way to sell one.7 points

"us ".....on destroying us not destroying it. Sadly we now have white people perfectly happy to buy into their own genocide so the message no longer has to be discreet. Diversity is a ploy to sink and submerge white people,if diversity was a real thing they would be trying to get white people into basketball, rap music etc etc ...but its not about mixing diversity is a mask for a power grab by those unable to rise by merit.7 points

The mouse muncher. Now to eat my words! I failed. Up at the chicken ranch I failed. I got to shed1 just to witness a large fox approaching the veranda. It knew what a lamp is also and retreated. No dice there. So I retreated and returned half an hour later to find a smaller fox doing the same thing. That retreated but offered me a shot. I could see its head clearly as it was lay down checking everything out. At the shot I saw nothing and thought it had gone straight down into the grass but I can't find a thing! So now I have educated one to avoid red light howev6 points

A bit later on in the day and the birds have started to move back towards the pen and feed areas, so seeing a few more sets my mind at ease a little, I stumbled across a tree rat chewing the side of one of the wooden feeders, so fed it with the .22, on a day in the autumn with a bit of sun this is a great place to be ?5 points

I've recently brought myself a pup with a healthy dose of Kerry blue terrier in it. Anybody else running dogs with this in the mix? What can I expect? Any good? Sire is supposed to be good and pups well put together and very feisty.4 points

Following on from the anti visit to another farm few days ago we met same two honeys again last night .This time they watched from a hill before plucking up courage to venture down to us .They had thermal too so no point hiding . Could see them getting closer and then the abuse started .If you’ve ever looked at a women in a thermal at night ,the crutch area glows up proper ,just a pointer lol. The abuse was same old ,” killed any innocent animals tonight you b*****ds “etc When they were about 30 yards off my mate says to the bolder one “Do you keep parrots “and rather than wait4 points

Vasolbrmo,..Two ferrets are always happier than one on its own.... If you really care for the pug,..find someone who also owns a ferret,...and give them yours, as a gift..?4 points

The religion of peace strike again , I absolutely despise this lot for what we’ve seen . . Yet for that I’m classed a racist , it’s not even a race it’s a backward ideology , as Winston Churchill once said “Where-ever you see Islam you will see trouble” Or words to that affect and don’t get me started on the Leftie do gooders Who think lighting candles & singing Oasis songs will sort these scum out , like using a plaster for a bullet hole3 points

Im lucky enough to be in a close enough circle that if i need an extra dog for a season i can get one, it hasn't always been this way but over the last 5 or 6 years when ive bread litters, I've given pups to lads that are willing to help out when needed, ive loaned out a dog to help lads out, these are lads i trust and i can depend on, i would pay for a pup or dog if i realy want it, but not now when lads are taking the piss with the prices they are charging.3 points

I liquidated my business over 5 years back and came out about straight, prior to that I was having to take 17k+ a week to break even, Im now in a recession proof job and Mrs works full time in hospitality which could be touch and go, we'll get by but having said that, between us we've 85 years worth of working life behind us ? f**k knows what's gonna happen for the people in their twenties etc Cheers, D.3 points

Well that didn't go to well. I heard a vixen screaming her head off just as I was about to give up. I moved in and had eye contact but she is lamp shy. Another lamp shy. Knows a red lamp. Someone around here is going out of their way to educate fox's! She ran in a wood. I gave it ten minutes and squealed. To my amazement she came running but as soon as that lamp hit her she stopped but in tall docs. I didn't feel confident so let her be but " I'll be back"!3 points

Patterdale club of USA, they register the pups to know which blood it came out of as names and pedigrees are important over there2 points

This thing about working terriers being kept in close circles and the ownership of them being something akin to a religious cult is a load of bollocks. I do believe that some very dedicated folk do practice that religion and they have my upmost respect but they are the exception rather than the rule. Terriers have always changed hands for the right money, the right money being the something that can only be agreed upon by the seller and buyer.2 points

Out for a mooch looking for good rabbit burrows and walking in a fresh ploughed field the I picked up this nice little leaf shaped flint arrow head. Can even see two little notches where it was tied on. Cheers Arry2 points
