  1. Bella she's a 5/8 3/8 who will be 12 months old next week, she's already bumped into a few odds & sods on our daily exercise wanders..she is 100% going to do what's asked of her if early indications are anything to go by ? She's bred off serious animals so I'm expecting her to be half decent at the least ?

  4. No she's not but she had been in 2 homes by the time she was 9 months old through no fault of her own, lads who owned her both had a littermate to her & both chose to keep the other so I gave her a home as I didn't want to see her on the dog merry go round especially without seeing what she could do, she was a little nervy initially but me being her 3rd owner without her breeder by the time she was 9 months old was quite understandable, she's grand now though, she has the same dam as two other relatively young dogs I have here in Bear & Rose, sadly Bear broke his neck out working in Dec

  5. Bit of an update from glorious Gloucestershire. The last batch of birds went in on Friday morning, so that’s the four pens full of birds . The first batch have got through that wet spell of weather and seem none the worse for their wet backs . The second batch have settled in well so far and seem very even and well feathered, as good a birds as I’ve had . I’ve opened the first pen up and they are getting out and about and I’m feeding them outside the pen a bit now . Not had any problems with Charlie yet , but I’m sure he will find them soon enough. I’ve been doing my rounds early

  6. Good luck with the pups Jake lad..Troy has been & still is a great workhorse of a dog,he's certainly no one trick pony I can assure anyone of that. I've seen him grafting & he's the real deal for sure,I've also seen Misty working & she put bodies on the ground in style, one which sticks in my mind was her giving her quarry somewhere between 400-600 yards start on seriously testing ground ,she reeled it in & it was game over! Breeding is all about trying to improve on what you have & if these pups can better their parents then they should make absolute toppers! Best of luck t

  11. Some years back, the dole decided to move away from people standing in line once week to sign on, to an online service.. Claimants, (or clients, as the dole called them), had to have an email address and lodge a c.v. on line or face sanctions. The dole wanted volunteers to help claimants set up an email address and construct a c.v. and learn basic interview technique, so, being at a loose end, I volunteered ! It was interesting, but a bit soul destroying to see men in their 30's, 40's, 50's who were illiterate, innumerate, had left school at 14 or 15 with no qualification and ha

  14. i remember a lad had 7 of his dogs taken a few years back,he knew where the dogs were ,so he went in to get them unafraid, and he didnt get near them when he was hammered ,(which in all honesty should have been expected) they also shoved a handgun in his mouth and warned not to return,so he went to the cops AND THIS IS THE BIT I ALWAYS REMEMBERED.... the cop asked him how they were supposed to help, the cop said, imagine you get 20 good tough lads together, and march into the site that the dogs were on,there were 26 caravans there ,and every caravan had a bloke and family, every bloke had at least

  15. While I appreciate the sentiment let’s just think about that for a minute. Are we saying that the net result of the last 70 years is that we have to effectively put our own people on chain gangs in order for them to stay alive?.......it’s effectively “the workhouse” isn’t it? In order for people to have pride they have to value something and have something to have pride in......we have spent 53 years rubbishing that concept, we are told constantly that “we shouldn’t care, it don’t matter” Well, we are seeing that it does matter, it matters a lot. There are tens of mill

  20. I get that pal, and a lot of ordinary people that just keep to themselves wouldn't want that type of trouble, this is the way it is in Dublin and I've seen it happening more than once although not over dogs, something happens and thier approached and not mob handed and told if it's not sorted kids will go missing and then things get sorted and then they scatter, I've seen them demand 500 punts at the time a caravan to leave then pay 500 a caravan to be let out of the field, most travellers won't even think about messing with fellas from Dublin or chances are they'll end up murderd

  23. Good explanation thanks. I wonder how many folk ever have their running dog at the peak of physical fitness, as fit as they possibly could be? Very few I imagine. Oh apart from the lads “grafting their dogs seven days / nights a week” ? ?

  24. You have to remember, Britain’s problems are legion......Brexit was simply one small part of wider problems, but it was a part people were given an opportunity to do something about......and they did. The Brexit “leave” vote was about so, so much more than just “leaving” .........urban Britain is a total f***ing shithole when taken as a whole. Most Irish can’t understand why we did it but then again, they don’t have to live amongst it.......that said, it’s all our fault so I’m not laying the blame anywhere else. I live in hope and have the faith of the stupid about it but in my

  26. The Christian peoples of the Balkan countries honestly and fervently believe they are the saviours and guardians of white, Christian Europe . They have spent centuries battling and turning back the likes of the Mongol Horde, the Arabs, the Ottomans, and they feel aggrieved that the west hasn't supported them when they commit genocide against the minority Muslim populations. And it's not just the Balkans; Hungary has an extreme right wing President who pisses off the EU with his treatment of immigrants, they don't want to hand over their countries when they have fought against it for

  28. Me and a buddy went to a creek over the weekend. Its a good place but full of cottonmouths. We caught a bunch but took a few pics. Smallmouth Cottonmouth came and checked out my kayak. I took my daughter's kayak as it has very shallow draft. We landed the kayaks to explore further downstream cause this area can't be kayaked as fallen trees everywhere from bad tornadoes. So we started wading. We caught several but we had 3 different battles with cottonmouths all I had for defense was my fishing pole WE were getting jumpy l

  32. Never had a problem with mine I just give them a little brush every time I set them with a spark plug brush both the trigger and were is seats they work fine, I do set the trigger very shallow in the putange as well, IMO if you set too deep up the trigger on a seasoned putange might cause the trigger not to release,.

  33. When you look at the seat, make sure the dsg has been serviced correctly, vw/Audi have had a lot of problems with that box, I’ve got an Audi s3 with dsg and 9 months from new it needed a new box with less than 6000 miles on the clock, the cost of repair is sometimes enough to write the car off, once the Audi is out of warranty in November it’s going
