  2. F*ckin 'ell socks. I thought you were posting some good news for a minute. Who else clicked, all giddy, because they thought Packham had gone to the great crested twat reserve in the sky?

  6. To be fair, I found the well off folks were sound as far as lurcher and terriers are concerned......right upto a certain HRH who loved a bit of lurcher work. Ive had nights on the lamp with lads who mixed in those circles and were part of that circle......they really liked to graft dogs. So no, I don’t agree it’s a class thing......it’s more an uninformed thing amongst people who only shoot and think that makes them part of a select club.

  9. I was just reading that .......... https://tinyurl.com/y6dow8eg Fair answer from that MP - it's just a shame that the 'government ministers' involved didn't kick it down the road and delay it (as we know they can when it suits them) so that we could crack on as normal while it's sorted.

  10. Here you go Mr Packham two magpies and two crows dragged this young wood pigeon out from it`s nest , killed it and left it. They then went looking for more song bird chicks, game bird chicks etc, etc to kill and leave. Foxes do the same, as do Mink to anything they can find, if a fox gets into your chicken coop it kills every last one and leaves them where they lay. The country loving people hate this but your stupid actions will help this happen at least a thousand fold more in a short time !

  11. I agree with Chris its a generational thing we all think things were better back in our day im as guilty as the next man i preferred our game before Arab Sheiks,Russian oligarchs and Var came into the game....and as for all the box ticking black and female pundits it just makes me want to put my foot through the telly.....but on the pitch i think these are the best times we,ve ever had the quality of football and football excitement is far and away better than anything we,ve seen in any generation in my opinion.

  12. Don't you think that's a generational thing, though? I agree with you but I don't think football is the common man's game anymore as much as we'd like it to be. The pride of pulling on the shirt ended when they became multi-million £ corporations, IMHO. I'm not saying there aren't those that do, only that the number is getting lower every season. Shearer going to Newcastle over Manchester is the immediate example that springs to mind... Remember the outrage that caused west of the Pennines? Walking past Nobby Stiles' house on the way to school in the morning and seeing what a nice approachable

You’ll be pleased to know I’m not a minority , loads of the pheasant boys who shoot and run syndicates are working lads that have done good and come up the ranks and look down on no one , sure there’s a top end to shooting but there’s always a top end to most things in life , do be fooled by the class war shit the only people we need to fight are the political elite peddling it ..

Picked this up on eBay a pro q BBQ smoker I’ve wanted one for a while I did look at the Weber Smoky Mountain But this one was more versatile as you can use it as a bbq as well as smoker holds 301bs of meat. I cooked a shoulder of pork today 8 hours ? and made my own pork rub. Quarter Cup of Brown sugar 2tbl spoon of ground salt 1tbl spoon Ground pepper 1tbl spoon onion powder 1tbl spoon garlic Powder 1tea spoon spoon cayenne pepper 1tble spoon smoked paprika shake it all up in a plastic box and apply to the meat over night I’m quite pleased with t

  21. I think after Fergie went, with the subsequent managerial failures, the "soul" of Utd went. Now they're just another club, not the giants they were. It's f***ing great ? Cheers, D.

  24. Maybe mate, as it stands a serious attitude readjustment is required if he is to achieve the status Buffon talks about. I never begrudge players exploiting things for every penny, it’s a short career and they make millions for the club so why not........but at the end of the day any player, never mind an elite player, has to leave everything on that football pitch when he walks off and I just dont see him doing that. Its a poor show mate.....as a player you have to ask more of yourself and you have to give more. It takes more pride than that to play for a team like Manchester Un

  25. TBH that's unfair. BASC could do nothing about this until NE announced they were withdrawing the general licences. So tell us all what the high and mighty basc are all about ? They state that they are there to promote the interests of their members....... Our aim is to safeguard the future of shooting in the UK. For this they charge ...... From their webpage 》》》》》 Full member (21+): £80 Senior Citizen member: £69 Junior (under 21): £28 BASC has the UK’s only full-time firearms team, offering help and advice on all aspects of firearms law. 27. I think we discussed before mate that you can't just carry on after Fergie in the same way.... I remember UTD fans saying it was time for him to go a season or 2 before he called it a day...WTF....I'm a UTD fan and he is irreplaceable.. Every other fan will enjoy where UTD are at the minute, the same as us UTD fans have loved getting it over Liverpool for the past 25 years lol.... I like Klopp, I even begrudgingly enjoy watching Liverpool play, it's not the Gerrard show anymore (a player I would've loved at Utd, anyway different story lol)... they are a good side, great defence, obvi

  34. Perhaps I'm just getting old but I can't keep up with this, I believe I have counted this topic in 5 different threads in different places on THL and I keep darting from one to the other and lose track of conversations. I think the idea is that NE is looking at the situation and rewording the GL for individual species and individual reasons, and new GL versions will start to emerge in the next few days, although full rewriting and implementation will take several weeks. If all the threads were combined it would be a lot easier for old boys like me to follow!

  36. years ago dogs had to do a job, you would use the best dog available to you whatever that was, it would also have bean seen working, like you said no room for sentiment, the deerhounds years ago you speak of were more likely lurchers any way, like here when people talk about deerhound crosses being good dogs years ago, folk think of first crosses, when in reality the good ones would be deerhound lurchers, as apposed to longdogs.

  40. I have just looked at Packems website. We could have been told about this weeks ago by BASC and started the ball rolling then (see packems twitterfeed) instead of when its to late. Packem makes millions out of wildlife with clothing for sale etc, all i make is a living as a pest controller. We are been screwed by someone with money yet again .I just hope its a good year on the wasps again, What a peice of scum Packem is!!!!!!! iwm

  41. And that’s the heart of the problem and why the antis will win eventually , finger pointing , a few keyboard warriors the vast majority never get out more than a few times a year sit and spout of on a forum and every one takes that as the official view of anyone that shoots pigeons , be the same on the stalking forums and all the boys on the dog forums will be slagging shooters and stalkers and so it goes on , meanwhile the joined up antis chip away at the weakest link with great effect .. I don’t know one lad I shoot with who supports the ban on hunting with dogs , not one and I’ve been

  42. No one is going to get a choice to retain anything , same as no one got the choice to loose hunting but I would obviously keep my guns mainly because my digging days have long gone . I for one never distanced myself from working dogs of any kind and as for paying for permission I’ve never done that either, like you a lot of what I do also comes under the protection of gamebirds act .Where you get every one who shoots couldn’t wait to distance themselves from the terrier boys is a mystery ! just because you keep saying it dosen’t make it true .Like me a lot of the old boys I shoot with have h

Balaur the height is 103cm and diameter is 43cm the reason I know is I asked the seller before buying, These all come apart and the difference to the Weber is they have two doors one for your charcoal and one for your water I used pear wood Chippings which I sprinkled on the coal from a load of wood I got for my wood burner when I chain sawed it up.
