My current boy, don't no feck all about his breeding free to a good home, but I get told almost weekly by every dog expert I meet he,s a beardie cross just before they pull his ear back to tell me he will have a tattoo if he,s a Hancock, he does,nt and he is,nt, but his breeding must be simular, I think as an older wiser man we get along great and have a good bond, but I would have probably struggled when I was younger and wanted instant action as it took us at least a year before things came good and he was 18 month when I got him bad points he has a great nose and will flush out hunt up and5 points

Some dogs, (whatever their type ) can be a wee bit too hot...they go at the game, like a bull in a china shop.? They sometimes need slowing down a tad,...I always school a lurcher, to show some patience...when required...?5 points

Found this photo of a pup I kept back from the last litter of terriers I bred his name was “Tex”. Personal circumstances meant I had to let him go but went to a good working home and by all accounts turned out a decent dog. He was by Samson of jp’s out of my bitch who was an auntie of Samson.4 points

Its better for them to self enter and learn these things by them selves makes for a better terrier stop ending them or letting them see stuff over the sod can give them bad habbits.4 points

Everyone's opinion is valid, but if Max didn't like Fury 5 years ago since then he's beat Klit in one of the most boring fights in heavyweight history (I know he schooled him in his backyard etc...but it was hardly a classic) went off the rails for nigh on 3 years...fought 2 absolute bums in his prep for Wilder, then got a draw after being put on his ass twice by a pretty average boxer.... I'm not knocking Fury, but I can't see where in that 5 years he has done anything to put him alongside the likes of Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Holmes etc etc.... He is certainly one of the best curr4 points

It's a shame around the country that rabbits are struggling, we were talking about it last night.. I've had this permission for over 10 years, I rarely ferret it, and its not the easiest land to lamp but we saw a good few last night and its the sort of ground you'll always get half a dozen to 10 rabbits off with a bit of graft....it's hilly, big fields...dogs work hard on it. There's a lot of other game on it, so it's always an interesting walk... I do think we are a bit lucky as between a small group we have thousands of acres to get at, no one takes the piss so we can rotate a4 points

Mike Tyson was one of my favourites as a young lad, when he first hit the scene his puching power, movement and sheer intesity was something very different for me... also some of his combinations were unreal, that right hook to the body straight into the right uppercut took out a fair few (that video reminded me)....but....As we all know he went off the rails and stayed there, he wasn't right for all of his fights in his 2nd half of his career and unfortunately that has tainted his legacy...no excuses if your a pro fighter you need to live the correct life to get the rewards, I actually don't4 points

I remember Abraham Stanley having two b,collie x greyhound that came from David h and they both became good mooching juckels .must have been 80s. the ones I've seen have had good jacket, feet, skin and the two abe had were good pot fillers and it's taken me until now to remember I never really see him give them jucks commands they just new what he wanted . they didn't like strangers and good guard dogs . i been thinking about putting some sheep dog blood to my bedy greyhound once she proved herself. if I was looking for a pup I would go to David as you know what you getting a4 points

Like all types of dog, I think Beardies mesh better with some than others. In my albeit fairly limited experience with Collie types, I feel that their bond with their owners depends largely on how you treat them. They can be super sensitive in some areas and as tough as old boots in others. Just as some people get on well with Saluki types, so others vehemently hate them. My own experiences with Beardie lurchers is a good one. Brave, committed, as capable of figuring things out for themselves as a human, and not too keen on being told what to do all the time, which given their level of intelli4 points

I used to lamp for the laugh when I had a couple of Lucas terriers, the first night we caught 3 rabbits out of 5 runs it was begginers luck, they were most successful at catching them in the hedges while the lamp was still on the rabbits, dogs loved it I think I might give it another go.4 points

? We had several beardie coated pups, out of our Border sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs,...I think folk sometimes forget the salient word with this particular canine,..it is a Collie...? Herding dogs need to be of sound temperament, it pays to thoroughly research their suitability, before any lurcher breeding project is undertaken, or it can definitely get emotional...4 points

My wife took my daughter to a party on Saturday so I took my boy, Will, to cut some wood at a local farm. Pulling into a sidling I noticed a doe up on a bank browsing the brambles in the sunshine only 200m away. I didn’t have the rifle with me but keep a spare pair of bins in my truck and my lad was in raptures about seeing it and asked if we were going to stalk it. He’s only 6 - a year younger than I was when I first went out with my dad and while it may have been a little early the conditions were perfect. Besides, he’s seen plenty of deer in the various stages of lardering and process3 points

I sent my kids a clip earlier today from a tree,I climbed it PDQ as a different angry rhino wasn't happy with my presence,I remember years ago putting a pic up on here of myself and another guy dragging a coffin out of a cave in the Philippines,we thought it contained gold,Yamashita's stuff,it didn't,just very old bones.3 points

Wilder v Joshua would be a proper tear up, two offensive boxers fighting for the undisputed Title. Both would probably start out a bit cagey but at some point the fuse paper will be lit imo.The promoters need to make the time, sit down and get this fight made, no more BS. This is the biggest and best earner for both fighters so they need to all sit down and get this fight made . It could mean Fury not getting the winner till 2020 but it will suit him .3 points

You see with greyhounds to breed from most just look for something well bred and decent grade, I would much rather use a gamey type greyhound regardless of grade or how it's bred or where it was bred but that's just me.3 points

Joshua has some good attributes but he also has a few flaws. Some can be remedied some will not. Joshua is very pedestrian and predictable with poor head movement and has poor mobility due to bad footwork. Fury would be a nightmare for Joshua but Joshua may well take chances as he may not respect Furys power. Joshua can adopt a high guard to make up for lack of head movement if he fights Wilder and he also puts punches together better than Wilder as well as being a bigger puncher than Fury.Wilder however has very unorthadox movement and a good engine, with that devestating power right till the3 points

Cheers mate Yeah you've highlighted something I've over looked there, Joshua's combos and shot selection are a lot better than wilders, And is a better finisher so that is definitely a big advantage over wilder yeah it's good to have good convos, after all this is the heavyweight division and it should be talked about which in recent years it's lacked a bit of reason to talk about it3 points

I had tyson winning vs wilder and I have him winning in a rematch, and I'd also have him beating Joshua but here are my personal keys to victory for the two of them (wilder and aj) in a fury fight this first one for wilder goes with any of he's future opponent and it's simply to be more calculated and measured, but this is something I fear he'll never learn, he's been pro a long time and still hasn't learnt to be calculated and measured when he has he's man hurt, I think he punched himself out when he had tyson hurt, a wiser head and better punch selection would stand wilder in far3 points

well said newkid..... thing is max......you yourself didn't like fury befor......now maybe in year or two...more of us might change our minds....(SAME AS YOU HAVE).....but until then I will just carry on liking him...hoping he wins some more.....but I still don't think hes a.... "GREAT"....3 points

Max in boxing money is king and certain results in boxing follow that trend. I said before the Fury v Wilder fight on here that I hope we had a clear winner as I knew with Wilder being a Haymon fighter , Fury would be lucky to get the nod and we could have a controversial decision which proved to be the case. Im a Fury fan but until he has fought and beat both AJ and Wilder its up in the air who is the best of the three. Imo Fury should have got the win over Wilder but with it being declared a draw everybodys a winner, from the fighters, the promoters, the tv companys, the host site and the bo3 points

Theirs no mobs or bullies ? truth be told your the one that trust to bully people on threads with insults and name calling ... Oh and repeating the same thing til people cba to listen anymore. Arguing with you is like playing chess with a pigeon; no matter how well you play the pigeon will knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around victorious3 points

Just keep trying Mr r3d as most folk on here contary to what they like folk to think once started with feck all and it was only luck that put them with meeting terrier men that helped start them off anyway. It ain't the shy child that gets the sweets and if you don't ask then go without,Iv'e been lucky enough to have been gifted terriers from folk that iv'e pretty much met through being on here and got chatting to,met at a few shows and just generaly built up a friendship and trust with them and that led to being offered either pups or working terriers. It isn't a rushed thing and like all good3 points

Next year I will be On the look out for a pup a alrounder it will have a forever home I can be vouched for on here or else were it will see plenty of graft and for whatever reason should it not make what I need it for it will not be pasted from pillar to post or used as a breeding machine travel or price irrelevant and I want proper tested parents not young dogs chucked together for sentiment reasons in after a bitch if and it's a big if I should I breed of her you will be offered a pup free of charge regardless what I pay I can't say fairer than that2 points

MT was a fantastic boxer early in his career much much more skilled than TF. If Fury was 5.11 he would not be a pro boxer if MT didn't bother with the gear or weights he would of been a champion in whatever division he could of got down to probably been better really as he wasn't a great heavyweight once he lost that youthful speed and agility2 points
