Had a call from a friend yesterday telling me he had been in a house where a man had pass away and before he died he'd been feeding the rats....and now they were taking over. He claimed hundreds and asked me to take the dogs. He was taking bets on how many we would kill...20...30....50! I knew from experience that even semi tame rats soon learn the score and with 4 people and 3 dogs in a tight space we would be tripping over each other rather than catching rats in a hoarders house. So I ssid 3. We as we pulled in the drive they were running between a parked car and the front door, w9 points

Not to much piss taking, it's someone's family and I'll pull that pic if it's not respectful. It's a human being who was obviously struggling. I thought it was an interesting view into others lives though. Cheers lads ?8 points

We aren't being pressured at all. Most of us are getting it because we see what's happening first hand and we want it to stop. Understanding the science isn't hard if you sit down and have a look at it. Which is what I did ? Got mine on Christmas eve. Sore arm for 12 hours. That's it. Still haven't grown gills or extra limbs ? I don't generally like people on the best days and social distancing is one of my super powers, but even I'm feeling the mental stress off all this, never mind what's happening in the hospitals. If taking the jab gives us a chance then I'm happy to roll up my s8 points

Reports of close to 697,000 deaths registered in 2020, versus an average of 606,000 each year from 2015-2019. Around 93k death certs with Covid identified as a contributing factor. For the avoidance of doubt, that’s tens of thousands of people dead, who wouldn’t otherwise have died. Hundreds of honest to goodness healthcare professionals working at the sharp end, at their wits end, pleading for the public to take this seriously, but still plenty about who are sceptical of the damage this virus is doing. As for the vaccine, imo this will be looked upon as one of mankind’s greatest achieve7 points

It snowed in parts of Dixie. These are the type of conditions I wanted the bag for. After working a muddy set and crossing beaver ponds my terrier on the ground was muddy and soaked to the bone. I released the fresh dry terrier and put the cold wet one in the bag which was already good and warm.It worked like a charm ?7 points

Still don’t know who they were to this day .Not a scary tale but about the only unexp4 points

Greyman, i may challenge perceptions and cause discomfort by the direct nature of my posts, but i never lie. I know a fair few health professionals from multiple roles both professionally and personally from around the world and personally I have not met a single nurse, doctor,. physo, OT, pharmacist etc who is not planning to have or already had the Covid vaccine, I'm sure there will be some that do, basically being a nurse or doctor doesn't necessarily exclude stupidity, but they will be in the great minority.4 points

The problem with that statement it’s full of facts and common sense, I,m sure someone will be along soon enough to stick an 18 page link to a piece of scientific paper that will make you realise you are just a non compliant anti vaxer and of a much lower iq than themselves ?3 points

Who's saying you have to have it ? As far as I'm aware it's volantary, not compulsory. If they tried to make it compulsory, they would have to change The Public Health Law, that states, quite categorically, that no medical procedure, INCLUDING VACCINATION, can be given without consent. There would have to be a vote in Parliament to change the law. Of course, private companies like gyms, bars, airlines, etc could insist on vaccination, but then it would be up to the individual to decide how much not having the vaccine would disrupt their lives. Personally, if I had to have i3 points

I've seen nurses queuing for hours on days off to get the vaccine, I've not met one yet who is refusing, even a colleague who carries an adrenaline pen for allergies is phoning the hub daily to try to get a vaccine done as soon as possible. In general I'll stick to evidence based published sources of information that are peer reviewed rather than newspaper article for my advice.?3 points

What a flight! wasn't out for long, I had to end the session and give her a big reward. The last flight was the best flight that I have seen her perform to date. The dog was on point in the cover crop, my mate walked in and flushed it, it went out across the open field climbing as it went. The bird was a long way behind and low. To look at it I thought no chance. However she put a massive spurt on rising high and performing a mid air bind way above the tree's, crashing down from around 50 foot to land at the edge of the cover. I still can't believe that she made the ground up and caught it. T3 points
