  1. Meet Nia, 3/4 Greyhound x 1/8 deerhound x 1/8 whippet. Sixteen weeks old touch over 19 inches and 25lb, it's been 10 years since I had a pup on the ground so i'd forgotten how much of a pain in the arse they are lol. She's got a lovely nature though and my Grandkids absolutely adore her which was the plan all along. I'm going to enjoy every minute of watching them grow up together. Diolch yn fawr.

  2. Got to be honest I think people over complicate feeding.....I look on a few raw feeding groups....and they have bowls full of different things...raw meat raw fish.. eggs.. fruit and a host of other other things vits minerals...oils... It's like there afraid to just feed one thing...its fine to just have raw beef or horse meat....then maybe rabbit or hare or whatever....they don't need a bowl with 10 ingredients...

  9. I've seen packs of hounds look in fine condition and hunt hard on pork pies. I'm not saying they don't need a bit of variety mixed in but as others have said I don't think we need to be obsessed with fruit and veg other stuff. Well bred animals with plenty of exercise seem to do well on anything

  10. I find the uk is arguably the greatest producers of both canine , feline and human specimens . for example look at myself , I eat what I want , when I want , exist on a diet of coffee, vapes, press ups and what’s app and I’ll be honest , I’m an absolute machine.

  12. I have an old collie x spaniel here, we found her on the front door step 10 years ago and she has been with us ever since. Lived free outside that entire time and has eaten literally everything from dog food to all the dinner scraps to dumped dead stock she gos off and finds herself to rats she manages to catch……she is the healthiest dog I have ever seen, literally the definition of a butchers dog, never looses weight, no physical issues, has survived some horrific injury’s like last year when she opened up her whole side on a piece of fence wire so that you could flap it back and see ins

  13. The danger isn’t that madness is spewed out every day…..that’s just par for the course now. No, the danger is that people buy into it…… Now, whatever anyone thinks of Joey Barton he is an excellent example. Last week a jury of randomly selected ordinary people decided that he had committed an offence by speaking words ! One of the charges he got found guilty of was calling HIMSELF a bit of a c**t ! These are ordinary people, walking around amongst us and yet, they have wholesale bought into total and utter madness…..like they actually must believe that words can cause

  14. I think it was more to do with breeding than nutrition as even when I started with working dogs 36years ago most working dogs were being fed a very poor to mediocre diet compared to dogs today.

  25. I've wasted hundreds of hours studying canine nutrition. It is an obsession. The other day I had an epiphany. If a man could live on an island surrounded be sheep and seafood he could consistently produce superior working canines. Now where would a man find such an island? The British isles have produced more working dogs than anywhere.Could a big key to this success simply be you had access to the perfect nutrition for a working dog? I can't cook but make some decent dog grub. For any of yall who want to toss up a picture of what your feeding.I would appreciate it.

  29. Quick story but i was once begging in Nuneaton for a bit and used to have a very neat and tidy looking nuttal bred patterdale and the amount of dog food i used to get given and treats for the dog u had to give most of it away to be honest and if i'd have let it eat everything offered to it it'd been a fat over weight thing. But one day i went to a cafe to get a cup of tea and left the dog on my pitch with my stuff and some ladies in a mobile newspaper stand offered to look after my dog as well,i ordered my tea and popped back out the cafe about 50 yards away from my dog only to see a group of
