Lime blanks are sought after among wood turners. The brain is, by and large, fairly straight., great for large bowls.example. Jok.5 points

He’s banging the liver down now feeling a bit more confident will start on a house for him if he makes the week as he’s stinking the boat out5 points

Raw egg seems to have stimulated his appetite and milk have removed most of the ticks and will pop up the abattoir in a bit to get some liver to help replace iron etc Surprised he is still here and not quite out of the woods yet but a bit more confident5 points

I'm not particularly hostile to Fury but I think he is very overrated compared to heavyweights I grew up with. I don't think he's anywhere need the top 20 heavyweights of all time. I am hostile to his dad. I thought you had made a typo with the word 'copium'. But I looked it up , thanks for the education. Still think a guy of that size is not in an even contest. Every pundit and his dog agrees Usyk is a classier boxer than Fury . IF Fury was the same height and eight as Usyk who would win? It somehow goes against the grain to me at least that he's considered a great heavyweight simply4 points

I agree with a lot of the hostility to Fury, its totally self inflicted so deserves no pity...but IF Fury wins its because he was the best man on the night in a heavyweight contest with no ceiling, I think it's a bit disingenuous to say it's merely his size that gets him victory, sounds like copium.3 points

My kids find it hard to comprehend that I will kill anything but am always rescuing injured things have had hedgehogs, squirrels a bat and a mish mash of birds over the years all living in my house or sheds in the garden this is the first thing since I moved onto my boat but I’m sure it won’t be the last3 points

There were pits in the Newcastle/Northumberland area that went miles out under the North Sea, a standard joke was “ No wonder the Germans are pissed off with us… we’re pinching their coal “ ! Cheers.3 points

Bloody hell, fair play to you lads…..not in a million years could I have done that. It looks lethal and brutal and backbreaking all in equal measure, don’t know how far underground you were but lads must have been mentally like steel……frighten the life out of me that would.3 points

Supergran has passed at 98 years old. Used to love Sunday afternoons, fat dinner and then Supergran, the only thing I was allowed to choose to watch when me dad was in. Running around through his clouds of pipe tobacco pretending to be a super hero lol.3 points

Glad to still see the odd few pairs of Lapwings around me though no where near the numbers I remember seeing in the 70s another bird like the grey partridge that has took an hammering due to modern farming practices and the rise in other species detrimental to their survival.3 points

Just had Inoue, Lomachenko, Canelo to really enjoy and appreciate boxing and then the circus comes to town again... Usyk must wonder what the f**k its all about ..no class at all, that John Fury is a complete nob, If Tyson had any sense he'd f**k him off now3 points

Not just the BBQ they’d asked that they keep windows closed when cooking meat! I’d do and say nothing and simply carry on as normal. It’s giving an inch to these entitled fruit cakes which has caused all the problems. Eating meat is entirely natural for us as a species and no-one has any business getting in the way of you doing so. Hunting is the other cheek of the same ar$e.3 points

I think the militant types would have been militant about something else if they had heard about it before veganism . Mouthy people who love the sound of their own voice and love the "pride" they have in "doing the right thing" . Sums up my mother in law to a T . Vegetarian because she doesn't like any harm to animals but is so scared of snakes she would happily see them all killed . Also she so much of a vegetarian in public and I've seen her eating KFC Chicken nuggets. Absolutely hates horse racing in public because of the whipping of horses and putting horses down who break a leg , b2 points
