To be honest Charts, there is only so much you can say about catching rabbits, if you openly post about other things youre a bit of a fool imo...so obviously the hunting side of the forum takes a bit of a knock, which is a shame... We used to post loads on our days/nights out but in the end it gets a bit repetitive and I don't think people are interested in reading it so much... It leaves us talking about standard men topics, I've always thought its a good forum as everyone is like minded, I've met some great lads off here and a few are now good friends of mine, because we share the same6 points

Seriously mate it's not worth the hassle of posting about anything hunting related with dogs if you're in the UK, yes rabbits are still legal in England but now banned in Scotland, it is better to keep quiet and keep at it imo .... Unfortunately some of the things posted on social media/forums are used against lads that hunt, you wouldn't post about robbing a house yet lads post about killing shit with dogs that is illegal, whether we like it or not, it's a shit situation but best kept to talking about in private not on here5 points

A bit later here but I backed Kitty's Light back in November and took 25's on it. Little story behind it. We were on holiday in Wales back in October and had a ride out one day and we pulled down a little lane to look at some castles ruins. As we were getting out of the car load of what were obviously race horses went past us and waded through the river that ran past the castle. I had a quick Google and the trainer Christian Williams has his stable along side the little lane down to the castle ruins. Anyway, I got Googling and his stable star Kitty's light was being targeted for the National t5 points

Due to circumstances beyond my control im not allowed to travel outside Europe so in recent years we try to just potter about the nicest parts of Greece last year we did a little private yacht charter thing between myself and some close friends and wives etc it took us all around different islands and just stayed until we got bored and moved on....the captain was a really interesting chap who does 3 trips per year around the world on the Salina Tanker so we've got him and his crew booked again this year,we did it for too long last year and ended up with the last few weeks listening to women m4 points

I don't want to really read about hunting on here.....or anywhere really. We have information overload in today's world. We all used to look forward to getting shooting times or sea angler magazine, we don't anymore..... because what can you write that we haven't read 200 times? Even 20 years ago the world was a lot smaller and it seemed interesting to read about different sport in different areas. I enjoy having the crack on here..... I don't really give a fck about hearing you ran 6 rabbits last night4 points

Well she is officially with us now. Put on 2.1kg in first 2 weeks, finally able to go out this weekend so had her on a short walk yesterday. She still a flight risk and hesitant to come back close in so will be keeping her on long line and only letting her off on my permission where there is a couple of full enclosed fields.4 points

I bit my tongue on this post, I assumed he was talking about KC bulldogs it's laughable, but as long as he was happy with the dog I s'pose....re: pure ebts being matched, the only one I can think of was "Carl's Guvnor" pretty sure his claim to fame was losing against tug! But I may have remembered wrong. They're a "rough and tumble" dog at best, and to claim any were anywhere near "as game as any bulldog" would hint to me the person making the claim has never seen a true, gamebred bulldog going about it's business!...j.m.h.o... Personally i think theres plenty of top heavyweights, even fringe world level heavyweights who would be a nightmare for Wilder.3 points

No offence but i dont believe a word of it.....saw and heard of a few of the crosses years ago that showed gameness but never a pure Ebt....cant even recall a pure one that ever even had a match.3 points

But he didnt....ive seen plenty of fighters want to quit but then get talked around by their corner....its what they're there for. Nigel Benn asked to be pulled out against Mclellend and went on to win an absolute dog fight,it happens.3 points

Yep noticed like 80% of the sub forums are deader then a hammer on here . Honestly most forums like this have become the stages for 24/7 pissing match / good ole boy clubs for less then a 5th in the total forum population I mean seriously go on these forums and see who's talking the most and its usually the same people arguing with the same people about the same shit the same ways....eghhh. That being said if anyone wants a freer place to share their pictures and stuff .... Trapperman.com pretty sure y'all's antis arnt staying at a "yank" ( just threw up a lil saying that mes ) site. Vancouver in June to visit my Son, first time for us so really looking forward to it. He's got a nice little itinerary planned which includes a weekend on the Sunshine Coast so we'll get to spend some quality time with him and his Canadian girlfriend - who now considers herself half Welsh lol. Taking the Grandkids to Bulgaria for a week at the end of August and again will enjoy every single minute of that so all in all two cracking holidays to look forward too after a really stressful couple of years.3 points

For pigs you won't ruin them taking them out young with the older dogs, the mrs used to take 4 month old, heavily bull blooded pups and they'd lug up when the older dogs got hold. I always started ferreting with the whippet types at ten weeks and they learnt quickly, mainly to avoid obstacles before their speed came through.3 points

Would agree with you there regarding most lurcher crosses but dogs with real pit in them if their bred right will be wired and more than ready at a year to be tried in my experience. Not saying, throw them in the deep end and push them to their limits but definitely be ready for some action.3 points

Sad news just announced that former British and Commonwealth light welter champ Willie Limond has died aged only 45. I was in a boozer in Wales having just completed the 3 peaks challenge the night he fought Khan. Put him on the floor but didn’t have quite enough to put him away. Brave fighter and gone far too young. RIP champ.2 points

used to use a paint called corroless on freshly blasted steel, could leave stuff outside for up to a year in all weathers before any other treatment was needed BUT, as with all first coat/primers this stuff will be slightly porous, has to be for the next coats to have something to grip so they will all need a top or sealing coat if you want the finnish to last. Secret to it all is prep it properly to begin with, skip this bit and no matter how much you spend on carlos fandango top coats you`ll be pissin in the wind with it.2 points

Well lads here it is, this is Nellie ma auld bitches replacement, well enough bred off parents that are doing the job. Been a joy to have around since getting her a few weeks back. Confidence grows daily and she's not scared of getting stuck in. Got plenty for her to be going at so here's hoping she makes the grade.2 points

Its not technology, it’s attitudes and laws. The Hunting Act ruined open hunting forums like this, what’s the point of posting hunting stories and pictures if it will attract arrest and prosecution? Im on a couple of WhatsApp groups that have a dozen or so members who can post what we want and there’s none of the arguments and nonsense that you get on open forums. Its a shame that the general section attracts far more discussion than the lurcher section, but there’s probably more members on here now who are more interested in football, politics, conspiracies, etc than are interest2 points
