First nest of the year, have been watching a robin going in and out one of the shipping containers at work so had a little look around inside and found the starting of her nest in a glove dispenser8 points

This is only the second time ave had this, in over 30 year, both were still warm. Wonder how common it is for this wee predator, to actively hunt the mole in its tunnel system, or is it more opportunistic ?7 points

Street works is a handy one to have GMNeed a ticket to change a blade then a hot works ticket so you can use it madness mate...best one is a 'permit to dig' before breaking ground has to be renewed weekly or if a different person jumps on to work with you...just a way to hold you responsible if something goes wrong...buck passing at its best6 points

2, I'm not saying its the cause of my situation or anyone else's shit happens and I do also know plenty who have had the jab and are fine. Maybe I'm looking for a excuse to avoid acknowledging I'm getting older but somethings not right. My eldest lad is the only one in our family who hasn't had a jab and funny enough the only one who hasn't had covid!6 points

At the end of the day the facts are, Fury won the titles in 2015, since then he's fought one other champion...Wilder 3 times...so in 9 years (I'm purposely forgetting his time out for drugs etc) he's fought one champion, 3 times... In that time it's been Chisora (again!!), Wallin, Naganu, whyte and a few bin men and a window cleaner... but we're supposed to buy into his resume is great, he'll fight anyone, no one like him, he'd beat any heavy from any era etc... its been a waste of time for nearly 10 years cause the fights that mattered aren't made...its almost over...no chance is there4 points

I agree with fundamental h&s , and it's saves thousands of lives but where it falls down is employing people without industry experience , and having so many rules and documentation it makes the job difficult, and the important things get lost in the mountain of permits and toolbox talks , sign this sign that. Half of these sites will save the iffy jobs for a Saturday when no ones about. It's all about liability and insurance for companies and industries, for me it's about not getting injured or dead and pointing stuff out to the individual that seems to be heading that way not firing emai3 points

First time getting so see one of these style boats up close in operation. It's be on dock with us last two days, they specialize in pushing barges in ares where there's very little space under the bridges h nice their low profile. The entire wheel house is on hydraulics and can rise and lower in a minute or two. Really long though. Anyhow these look pretty similar to the canal boats I see pushing around y'all's neck of the woods so fired y'all would find it neat as well And here you can see it next to regular style tow boats And the specs for y'all wondering3 points

If I see someone is going about something in a dangerous manner I will speak up straight away mate..common sence ain't that common.. One of the worst things happening at the moment is on hs2 a big firm are giving out free plant tickets to anyone who applies..they have a little training and bang here's your ticket.. And they wonder why there's so many accidents happening..the industry is being flooded with operators who shouldn't be operating..zero experience around machines.. The best ops are ones who have a genuine interest in operating plant.if you haven't got an Interest you3 points

Having traced my family back to the 1600's in Devon and being born here I've always been interested in Devons history. The Celts as well as I was told that having a second toe longer that your big toe is a Celtic trait, which I have. Celtic Devon Intro WWW.HISTORYFILES.CO.UK Devon was the cornerstone of one of Britain's most significant Celtic kingdoms, Dumnonia. Cheers Arry3 points

Heard it was a Neanderthal trait. (Think it was a theory of some guy called Stan Gooch). I've the same thing going on myself (very, very slight bit of Devon ancestry in me). Apparently there is a sharp genetic divide between Devon and Cornwall reflecting ancient tribal differences. (They only test people whos all 4 grandparents were from close by to each other for these studies)2 points

Interesting I thought. Cheddar Man’s DNA In 1997, it was reported that a living descendant of Cheddar Man had been found. In the report, it was written that DNA had been found in the pulp cavity of one of Cheddar Man’s molars. The DNA was examined at Oxford University’s Institute of Molecular Medicine. The results from the analysis were then compared with the DNA of 20 local individuals whose families were known to have been living in Cheddar for several generations. One of these individuals was identified as a descendant of Cheddar Man. Cheers Arry2 points

I think if beddy is in the mix there is always the chance of the odd small one cropping up. I remember years ago my old mate from London putting his 26tts first x saluki greyhound to a first cross beddy greyhound that a lad in Leicestershire had that was a well known dog by all accounts that was 23tts and I am led to believe one of the bitch pup's only made 21tts a bit too small for an out and out hare dog.2 points

So far so good mate. I had read the reviews about the tatra exstra wide and they ticked all the boxes for me even though it was the most I have ever spent on boots. I have had Altberg hiax and zamberlan boots in the past all decent boots to be honest but comfortable wise these are on another level and even after a 3 or 4 hours mooch about their not a pair of boots I can't wait to get off my feet as my legs don't feel tired or my sciatica doesn't start niggling me unlike other boots and wellies I've had in the past that to me is well worth the money I paid for them.2 points

All you are doing mate is showing how naive your understanding of boxing is......an older Klitchsko gave a much better performance against Joshua than he did against Fury....it happens. The Joshua/Klit fight was probably the best heavyweight title bout in the last 30 years......the Fury/Klit fight was probably the worst.....its just boxing and how styles gel......a Fury/Usyk fight has the prospects of being a good interesting fight if it is refereed strongly....if it has a weak referee who allows Fury to maul and hold it will be a terrible spectacle. Loads of ingredients go into a fi2 points
