The Doctor said: "The good news is I can cure your headaches...The bad news is that it will require castration. You have a very rare condition which causes your testicles to press up against the base of your spine and the pressure creates one hell of a headache. The only way to relieve the pressure is to remove the testicles." Joe was shocked and depressed. He wondered if he had anything to live for. He couldn't concentrate long enough to answer, but decided he had no choice but to go under the knife. When he left the hospital, he was headache free for the first time in over 20 years, but8 points

She lived a life that most couldn’t comprehend, she worked for the British Embassy in Saudi, was a manager of corporate accounts for Barclays in Dubai, and was head hunted to be HR manager for an IT company in Australia. She stayed for a while with her fiancé a master sergeant with the American marines, at Camp Legune in Carolina. She was friends with Princes , Sheiks and diplomats, spoke fluent Arabic and finished her education at the Cambridge Annex of the Middle East. Very headstrong , lived life to the full and died all too soon at just 36 Her final couple of months were spent in HRH8 points

If you can't afford to rear a litter then you shouldn't be breeding a litter in the first place, if your not breeding for yourself or mates then your a puppy peddler plain and simple and if your a puppy peddler then your only interested in money and not the working ability of the dogs. A thousand quid would rear any litter and rear them well and that's me being generous so all this bollox about the price of rearing pups to justify high prices is shite.8 points

There isn't too many people in the world, there’s too many people in certain areas of the world. Indigenous Birth rates are through the roof on certain continents and at extinction levels on others. We are keeping the indigenous population of others continents with unsustainable birth rates artificially alive whilst allowing our own indigenous people to die out……if white Europeans and their descendants were some kind of shrew or bird, there would be billions getting spent to save us……but we ain’t, we are just white people so they are happy to let us die and just import the other mob7 points

I got one off my pups back last Friday from a mate, I placed her with my other mate closer to home. Wind was blowing last night although very bright. We took off anyways. (Innit to win it) . The 1st half hour we seen a few in the thermal but all on the move. We eventually landed on a nice 1 for his pup and she scoobed up no issues . Mines has had a couple more runs than her sister so she had a little more complex run which she done very well. Another for her. On the way back they managed another 1 each. Chuffed watching the 2 sisters and amazing to see them 1 after4 points

I'm sure that a year or so ago, somebody suggested a thread where we could note down when we'd seen first sightings of particular things like frogspawn, swallows, cuckoos, snowdrops etc but I couldn't remember if it had materialized or not. Anyway, I saw my first load of frogspawn today. Not certain, but I think this might be the earliest I've seen it. It always used to appear in my local wood on or near St Valentine's Day but I've not seen any in the wood (apart from the main pond) for several years. This year's lot was over on the farms and a heron was standing on the same corner. Do th4 points

Way off the topic but I could not find the thread where people have recently been discussing matters of sartorial elegance. Panama hats and suchlike. Anyway, I'm going to a funeral tomorrow. Nothing too sad, an uncle who lived to 92. The last of the pitman generation in my family. His son posted on FB informing people of the loss and time and location of the funeral etc. He wrote that he would rather people wore bright cheerful clothes rather than the traditional sombre colours. The last few funerals that I have attended some good natured but slightly piss taking comments have been made due t4 points

Out this evening for the first time in ages with my good friend and his missus who has just finished her chemo treatment, so before she’s in for an operation we thought we’d go somewhere nice, I went for the sea bass, one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time4 points

Tonight was first pork joints. Got some pics before but not after. Did 2, a slow cooked shoulder with skin and fat removed pre-cook for crackling. A roasted shoulder joint with crackling on. They were both amazing. Not just saying it but so much depth in flavour, texture was better, crackling off of both was amazing and I collected the fat for future use, aiming for as little waste as possible .3 points

In my hunting days, I've taken the lives of numerous deer, but interestingly, the larger Fallow Buck and majestic Red Deer Stags never graced my dinner table. Despite my attempts, and the inevitable obligation that comes with hunting, these formidable creatures remained elusive. The truth is, my dogs struggled to contend with them, except for the occasional success, often influenced by a stroke of luck or the hindrance of an obstacle. The hard truth of those times was that these magnificent beings were beyond my dogs' capabilities, and that's the end of the tale. For those who make the co3 points

I have a non ped whippet and I am local to you. He is blue whippet and big boned muscular type that’s seen a far bit of work, I know you said ideally collie lurcher but the offer is there if you want to use him. Has sired pups before and they came out very tidy animals.3 points
