Im not even a Mike Tyson fan i always thought he was overated......but he would of cut Wilder in half with body shots. Most of your related posts are just a bit too silly to even comment on you sound like a crazed 13 year old girl after a Justin Bieber concert !10 points

I would class myself as a bit of a novice still so chuffed with that little Roman coin. Was thought until recently that the Romans never got down this far but a Villa was found about 5 miles from me. Thing is I ferret that ground but he don't want any body digging holes in the paddocks. Not found a pilgrim bottle and not much chance of any Viking stuff as they weren't very active in the South West. To be honest I'm happy if I find the odd coin wish a few more had more detail on them but it's bit like fishing you never know what going to crop up. I'm an old f****r now so helps keep m6 points

Strange when you read these posts and memories come flooding back. My aunt Peggy and uncle Bob had the stables at Upper Hyndhope. My brother and I aged 9 and 8 cycled from Melrose to visit them. I remember going through the ford which I guess was the Teviot. The days when your parents allowed you to do such things. Jok.4 points

First day back up the shoot for a few weeks and it’s all settled down and looking like spring is on the way, I spent the best part of 2 hours cleaning the pens up and the shed where we have our elevenses, I filled my 2 feeders I keep running until the end of March and then had an hour walking around the piggeries smacking a few squizzers out the tops of the trees, it’s nice to have it back to myself whilst over the piggeries I came across a dead badger, I noticed some tyre tracks across the field and looking at where it was I suspect foul play ? Over the past week I’ve mainly been u4 points

Couple hours yesterday half a dozen coins most with the faces etched away a thimble, old penknife and a small rim fire cartridge case which I think is .177 or .170 I'll be honest didn't know they did rim fire that small. Writing seems to be " TICL AVD CAESAR " not sure if that means Julius Caesar. Probably does. Cheers Arry4 points

It was the huntsman, he should’ve been in charge and had more cop on. Should’ve been no one breaking the law firstly and if your going to break it don’t video yourself and tarnish everyone who’s trying there best to do things right , everyone in the video had a hand to play in the f**k up. Like watching a bunch of kid's4 points

Had few gold Roman coins and few guineas and loads of silver coins . My brother found a broach that belonged to Mary Queen of Scots along the river in Peterborough,it'd been ripped off her neck when they took her to beheaded few miles out of Peterborough,it was 2 of 3 that was on 3 gold chains and others have never been found .it now sits in British museum and was in Oxford in a collection of Mary's jewelry for few years ,he done ok out of it ,got his house anyway.3 points

Bought this little guy like two years ago. Took the old scope off and said I'd get to it in a week and it's moved places twice. Picked it up the other day a figureed it was time to do something with it. New hammer ordered to replace the factory one because other wise I'm going to stick with a 5lbs trigger I hate Found some ammo locally and happy I reload Figured I'd shoot it semi stick just to be able to compare before and after modifications ,still had to replace the stock scope rail because it only had two slots and they didn't give me any flexibility for m2 points

You found any pilgrim bottles yet ? Used to find them a lot when I was going out ,I might start back up but I find winter best time to detect as finds get closer to surface in cold weather but of course you will find in all weather but colder the better .2 points

I'm surprised you would breed from a stud which didn't strike. The owner should not have had him standing at stud with a fault like that. Perhaps you didn't know this when you bought your pup?2 points

Best advice is the trapping advice above. Use a small underground trap and the other tips , set early morning. Personally I've never had traps taken by golfers , I trap quite openly on a number of courses. Like you say it's probably the walkers. With regards to phostoxin. I used it for years with some degree of success. I was around it from a child, I remember my dad asking if I could smell pear drops after doing some moles ?. To us it was always the safe option after the world of cymag and strychnine (which I was kept well away from and told the horror stories). I spent years on and2 points

Always sad to hear news like this. There is more than enough economic and social pressure on shoots, without other environmental issues clobbering them as well!2 points

Yep, the sonic crack always happens outside the barrel and passed the mod, so there is nothing you can do about it. I think technically, Silencers are only applicable to sub sonic ammo, after that they are Sound Moderators, although the name seems interchangeable with various manufacturers/retailers/users!!! Both my .22LR have a SAK on the end, so does my WMR, my HMR has a SM11, and when they dies it will get a SAK as well. The SAK is still one of the cheapest on the market and I'm more than happy with its performance on Sub Sonic and HV! PS I have heard good things abou2 points

Crack from super sonic bullets increases as the size of the bullet increases. So it will be loader. The mod isn't there to moderate the sonic crack, just the combustion gasses rapid expansion.2 points

That’s my philosophy exactly Leo,really enjoyed sitting there drinking coffee in the sun,the humming birds were the icing on the cake.2 points

Nice pics of the humming birds, sometimes it's just nice to sit back and take in and appreciate what's around you.2 points

I've heard of pig hunters shooting multiple young staghounds because they showed no interest at 6 months. Imo these people have no idea about running dogs, comparing them to bull or cattle dog crosses that start as early as a few months. Even some terriers can take their time and turn out great dogs with patience.2 points

Anyone on fb the last month notice the amount of people looking for Jill's,..had me thinking, is it for summer hunting or they plan on breeding to sell kits?.surely hardly worth it profit wise to be selling ...any thoughts...we have a snipped hob here and 3 Jill's,and the peace of mind knowing no unwanted litters will be turning up is great1 point
