With the weather currently against us to consider any kind of lamping, without fear of broken feet. Me and the lad took a trip to our very local mountain range (actually a hill range but I won't tell him just yet). The weather was poor and visibility was worse, but he loved every minute mooching with the dogs up the steep wooded hills, encouraging the spaniel into every bush that crossed our path. I know of people struggling to feed kids but have brand new cars on drive newest phones kids dressed from head to toe in Adidas full sky tv package new phones and go out drinking every weekend, my kids are well fed we try go out as a family every weekend even if its just a picnic on a dog walk ,me n kids wear pass me downs and charity shop clothes, I have a clapped out motor that takes us on good days out etc , think it's all about choices,

This dog was bred by ginger French.. he’s was a brilliant dog.. there’s not much I didn’t do with him. He excelled on hares, obviously being a saluki cross, but he took fox, deer, lamped the beam perfectly, ferreted etc.

My first saluki greyhound out of Ginger French's Luke bought as a pup early 90s from a couple in Bacup nr Rochdale no world beater but he made me happy on more than one occasion this day especially as a ten month old sapling nailed the first muntjac he ever set eyes on and coursed.

Had nice walk this. Morning, cold but soon got warm. Buck had few munjack from here and the odd fox, if look at 1st pic he deff seen somthing, he had mooch over there, after the pic, even little woody had good smell about. Lol. Didn't see anybody, which is great don't want anything getting up with people looking. Dint see nothing but dogs and me self had nice walk on crisp cold morning.

Why cannot people feed their kids ! what is the problem ? my Mam brought me and my sister up through the 40s & 50s with no help from anyone and we never went without and we always had a few days at Skeggy or Yarmouth in the July Fortnight money was tight but she got by so what is so different now ? as for free School meals she would sooner have her Nails pull out than ask for that, so what is it ? have people no pride ? or can they really not afford to provide a bit of grub for their kids .?

I think a vast amount of younger people don’t actually know how to produce homemade healthy meals for their kids, the just eat generations… some of the young lads at work feed their families are entirely on takeaways. And now they are struggling to afford them they don’t know what to do

I think it’s the instant want everything now pay later way society has been altered, money has no value it’s just an app on the phone now we’re as we used to budget for everything and when it was gone you stopped spending, plus there are a lot less people now that are willing to kill there own lunch ?

I get what you’re saying to a degree, but there are a lot of folks trying to scrape by on minimum wage salaries, or even zero hour contracts. These people were living hand to mouth 12 months ago, add the fairly substantial increases in food, gas/electric, petrol, mortgage/rent and some people are really on their uppers now.
