  1. I think it comes to all of us if you do enough hunting. Feels like there has to be some give as well as take.

  2. We all like to think we put in a good shift when at work and give our all to earn a few quid and do the best we can … but do we really work that hard … Well you do if you work for me and you end up looking like this at the end of the day.

  3. Good job every gun just instantly kills it's quarry and every hunting dog kills with one swift bite to break a animals neck then eh....

  4. Anything imho that doesn’t humanely despatch the quarry , ie those squirrel traps or hold them live in a cage , eg fox traps etc , needs consigned to the dustbin as it’s f***ing despicable . the idea of a animal like a fox , wolf , mountain lion , bear stood with a wrought iron teeth trap tearing its tendons and bone apart over a period of time whilst it struggles , seems abhorrent to me .

  10. Mum was sadly dead. Her tummy was moving so I tried to make a crappy situation a bit better and C sectioned her and got the fawn out alive. It’s still going at about 30 hours. It’s had a few feeds of lamb colostrum and now on milk replacer. Fingers crossed it keeps going and makes it through. Lovely little thing. Funnily enough I rang a wildlife / animal charity and they said I should have left it to die.

  11. I could really write a whole essay on the matter and I've done papers on it but stuff has come a looooong way. I've run cameras on animals in traps their been tons of research with the bumps and the like and honestly with modern traps a practices stuff is extremely humane. Most of the guys here live market so we require traps that treat them the absolute best. We cannot have damage . That along with the fact we deal with a lot of non targets ( domestics animals like bobcats that we can't keep) we simply cannot get away with stuff like your saying. Most of the time you cant even tell what

  15. Well, surprise, surprise…… Dover migrant centre attack driven by right-wing ideology - police WWW.BBC.COM Andrew Leak threw up to three incendiary devices at the site in Dover, Kent, last Sunday. Obviously nothing to do with the bloke probably has spent the last 30 years watching his area go down the shitter, can’t afford to turn on the heating while his country is taken from under him…….nah, that won’t be it ! f**k sake like !

  18. That is a beautiful view that’s for sure but it’s one of the reasons I live on a boat because everywhere you go views like that are being blighted by solar/wind farms or housing estates to be filled by the hardworking tax paying migrants our governments are basing there futures on, aiming for zero immisions while destroying the lungs of the earth for maximum profits as we still follow them blindly if it wasn’t so sad it would be hilarious, good luck to you and the lad fighting his local wind farm ?

  19. Well the geese have been on the winter barley the last 2 mornings so this morning was the time to have a go. I was set up on the field by 6.20am in the dark under a beautiful red sky full of anticipation, will they come or not ? As soon as it was breaking light the 1st skein of 10 birds drifted towards the decoys but not fully committed so I took the lead bird which took 2 shots sending it crashing into the earth. Then the birds started to flight and I took a few right and lefts ....the flight was all over in half an hour but I thoroughly enjoyed it taking 11 birds ? Now I

  26. Just a thought. When I was doing the Poppy Cascade, I wondered how many of you have had the honour of visiting the National Arboretum Staffordshire? If you haven’t, no matter how far away, it should be on your bucket list. The hair will stand up on your neck for sure. I last time, one of many, I took my grand daughter there when, as luck would have it, there was a flyover from RAF Coningsby , Lancaster and Spitfire. Awesome. Jok.

  37. Can't beat pike fishing in winter months late December Jan Feb when the big lady's have put that weight on. I've made a few live bait floats out of polly balls a bought from that shop Boys in brid. The polly balls are size of junior football. A need to get in the shed and find them have a session a think. There a place over in Yorkshire called pugneys water park nice size lake. It's a lake for kayaking an sailing but they let you fish the lake at the back end. The lake holds some big girls alot of over 20lbs. Few years back I had a monster of a girl 24lb 6oz to me it was anyway lol. That day
