Labour were apoplectic with the Tory's planned NI rise....... Now Labour are apoplectic that the planned NI rise is cancelled ! Labours default setting is simply to oppose anything the Tory's propose. I watched Labours Wes Streeting being interviewed on Sky this morning, he condemned every part of yesterday's budget, but had no answer when asked what Labour would do. All he could say was they wouldn't divulge their plans until they are in power. Theyve spent the last few years calling the Tory's the party of tax rises, now they are screaming because the Tory's are cut9 points

I could trawl the 'net to find any amount of right wing commentators to rebut everyone of Sandy's left wing commentators, but that's not the point. ALL the politicians and political parties couldn't give a f**k about us ! At least the Tory's are consistent in their support of "Big Business", "free markets", wether we like it or support it. Labour, during my life time, have gone from the party of the working man, to Islington based, identity politics and have taken the working mans vote for granted. The last General Election shocked them.......they didn't understand that wh6 points

Personally I can’t abide aggression or violence. I can’t understand why we can’t all live in peace and harmony. If I was present at that horrid incident I would have stepped in and firstly established every bodies pronouns then sat in a circle and talked through their micro aggression issues whilst feasting in a bean burger and when the situation was calm burst into a verse of kumbia my lord. The incident would have ended in a group hug apologies all round and valuable lessons in tolerance learned by all.6 points

Dawn raid on the crows this morning. There was not many on the maize stubble yesterday when my granddaughter and I set the blind up. I managed to get 34 I think, lost some and for about 40 cartridges which isn't bad for me. The new technique was my granddaughter's idea. Bait them in!5 points

Came across this wee clip taken from a motor on the streets of New York, comments suggest its circa June ‘45, so a few weeks after VE day, and a few before Hiroshima and Nagasaki were flattened. Anyway, I found it interesting. Wouldn’t mind one or any of those old cars now.5 points

If you bake them like apples they have an almost apricot taste. Or maybe apricots taste a bit like quinces? Ever wondered why the label on marmalade specifies "orange" marmalade? No neither did l.. Until a few years ago l realised that a pub l do the pest control for had several quince trees in a derelict corner . Looking up ways of using up the bags of quinces l came away with l discovered that marmalade was originally made with quinces. The supposed story of how orange Marmalade came to be is that a jam factory bought up a ship load of rotting oranges cheaply . Th5 points

Last one of the 3 done, bloody nightmare didn’t get going until gone 12 because it was 2 damp and couldn’t do the front path until my mate had been and scratched off the render, luckily the paths around the house took ages, might be the last big one due to the damp conditions until the spring ?5 points

Sounds like Italy is heading to elect a female extreme right winger as PM in a coalition goverment. She is saying what the public want to hear: navy turning refugee boats back, etc. It will be interesting to see how she intends to do that once someone points out EU regulations and the Human Rights Act that will block her plans. Still, another problem for the EU Heirachy to worry about along with Hungary and Sweden's immigration policies.4 points

Try writing an intelligent respectful argument yourself or answering some of the responses to your posts, rather than just copying and pasting things from anti Tory Facebook pages. You are the worst campaigner for Labour, you actually put people off labour.4 points

Public services aren't crumbling because of under investment. They are crumbling because the system they are based on is unsustainable. We get it, you don't like conservatives. I don't think anyone on here is a fan of any political party least of all the conservatives.....but you can only piss with the cock you've got and we have them. Nobody takes your posts seriously in any way because we all know your motives behind them. You posted a link above about people's opinions in Bolton. Bolton is an absolute shite hole. I've been there this morning, because unlike you I'm not lucky enou4 points

For those earning over a 150 thousand its a bonus and feck the rest of us, basically Tories looking after their own as usual. Investing in the country rather than reducing tax on super rich would bring economic growth and benefit us all directly improving infrastructure and jobs, then following the EU with a tax on the mega profits of energy firms would reduce the longer term tax burden a little. Basically we and our children will be paying back the debts for generations to come. 'The poor don't get anything': Red Wall voters react to mini budget INEWS.CO.UK3 points

I don't think he did cheap shot him, he was looking straight at him, had just told him he would knock him into next week, was moving towards him, had thrown the first contact even if it was only a push but was moving towards him while doing it.....I reckon he would have a good defense in court with that one on self defense.3 points

I don’t think they thought they had anything to worry about , and in all honestly , still don’t to be fair . compare that to a lad sticking a day dog ok onto a hare on the seed . We were never wanted , but what I think is worse , is that we were never supported by the charlatans at the CSA3 points

In WW1 anything German wasn't highly regarded so German Shepherd Dogs became known as Alsatians. Same breed, different name. It went back to GSD in the 1960's. The thing with our dogs is that until they get a live bite you don't know if or how the dog will bite on flesh. Training on the padded sleeve gives similar results, but once the dog can't see or sense the presence of a sleeve it does what it wants and there is no easy way of changing it. My first dog was true to the sleeve, but on the streets always took the runners down with the thigh. He brought them down and immediately released2 points

? Went along to the various Marches,..as ya do,...but got a gut feeling that the 'deal' had already been done and dusted,.. and the minor contingent of the Field Sports fraternity, (the Lurcher enthusiasts and Terrier Men) were already being consigned to the History books.? Had a wee bit of craic with some canny lads from around the UK,.. but mostly came home with little hope for the future,.. just multiple bruises....? My time is in the Sun is now almost over,...and I just give thanks that I have lived, all through the halcyon days, and most definitely.....filled my boots? Kee2 points
