Got this bundle of madness in December, she's 16 months now, 24tts, only had 3 rabbits with her but looks promising, recall is good doing some retrieve work with her, I kept the hide off the last rabbit and put it out to dry so I could put it on a dummy, but she found and ate the thing, gone in seconds ?

  8. No. It suggests that she made a cry for help not realising that once her story became public it would become a police matter. Not many people realise that now it doesn't need someone to approach the police and make an official complaint. It can be investigated if someone else reports it on their behalf even if they don't know about it or want to pursue the complaint. Or if the police are are made aware of it by other means as in this case. Whatever you think, she is the primary victim. Naive yes, but still the victim.

  10. I seriously cannot believe anybody in their right mind can publicly or privately condone rape, sexual abuse or lamping a bird because she won’t open her legs. What the actual fuuck? ?

  11. You’d struggle to beat these two. The black and white bitch, in her day, was probably the best dog I’ve seen, deffo the best dog I’ve owned. Sadly getting old now and I’ve never managed to get pups out of her. She’s caught plenty of game as well from rats to deer.

  12. I may live to regret this but i hope not. If it helps you, you are welcome to come over here (south of Preston) and i will take you to one of my places. I will run through the safety aspects and set up some hardox fox targets for you to practise on. I will make available for you .22 lr, .17hmr, .204, .243 and 30/06. If you listen and prove to be safe you would be welcome back, if you aren't you will be going back to yorkshire quicker than you came followed by a letter to the West Yorks firearms dept telling them you aren't fit. So the offer is there if you want it, oh, and don't turn up in Bur

  13. With all due respect mate, it’s one thing to “wait a while” while you pluck up courage to speak out about something horrible……it’s quiet another to wait 20 years, make 6 movies with and accept 20 million dollars from the geezer who you are now saying got a bit handy with you or forced himself on you violently ! Its bandwagon jumping imho and it has let down every single victim who ever came after !

  14. Come on mate it’s obvious what he is saying. They could’ve come out about it when it happened and saved a lot of other women in the industry. Coming out of the woodwork 20 years later after someone had the balls to stand up to an abuser just screams attention seeking but also shows the character of a person. They preferred to protect their earnings rather than come clean! Is it easy for them? Is it fuuck! But it shouldn’t have stopped them protecting others rather than their career. Wasn’t it Brad Pitt who pinned Harvey up and threatened to kill him 20 years ago and refused to work w

  15. Over the years I have trained, worked and been around just about every type of stock dog, including collies, Welsh collies, kelpies, huntaways, ACD, Scotch collies, Bearded collies and various x breds of the above. They all come in a variety of types and shapes as well as the good, the bad and the average. There are lots of average dogs of all types. I currently keep two border collies and a Welsh collie. If I’m honest 95% of the time I can do anything with my collies that I could do with any of the above and probably as well or better than other types of stock dogs, particularly when it

  16. Some interesting comments. I have a wee bit of a personal interest and experience with a variety of stock dogs, and I come at this from a stock working angle but obviously always think about hunting and Lurchers.

You got kids of your own?...when a female, tells you No,it means No,not force it f***ing in them.,get em wet and they change their mind, that's alright?..some of the comments from some of you members ...has the f***ing alarm bells ringing... She's a silly girl for thinking that any black man would respect her...they just don't,fullstop, but she's still a victim at the end of the day,and someones child....he will always be a dirty black rapist...just because he kicks a ball and got a few quid....a f***ing dirty cnut....with some luck ,the rest of the wing....give him a warm welcome

  18. Had a hour out sunday morning at 7.30 am. All rats caught were from the big shredder used to shred carpet and wood. They were bolting all over the place. Dogs worked well and had a great little hours ratting. Kes was 100mph and clipped her nut on the machine, luckily just a graze and never broke the skin. Its amazing where rats will hide.

  20. My mate who's a dog trapper has three Stumpy tailed red cattle dogs that he takes around to attract dogs and also as guards at home. If someone comes in they don't bark but slink up in the shadows to grab the intruders, they are really smart and scary animals the way they want you to come in to get hold of you. If you so much as touch the truck or the owners belongings they will bite. All depends if you want that in a dog.

  23. So why does it even need to be mentioned? This is why when real sexual abuse happens to vulnerable girls, boys etc they don’t get justice mate. Their past or their indiscretions are brought into it.

  25. A very important point as well - is that Kelpies and ACD are totally different dogs. Just both happen to be from Australia. Another thing - people often say that the antipodean dogs are so independent and able to think for themselves and that collies are robots only good at following commands. That’s just not true. A well trained Kelpie or Huntaway should follow commands and listen, for example I can’t stand the ones that bark constantly and don’t have an off command. And equally a decent collie that’s not been ruined by the trialling fraternity should be plenty capable of thinking

  27. ACD's think for themselves and have a wild streak and primitive prey drive from the dingo blood. Some here are very hard dogs, too hard for the modern breeds of meat and dairy cattle and this is why kelpies are mainly worked here. They do have a place on remote properties with semi wild cattle and are the ultimate guard for your truck. I don't know if they are better as a cross than collie crosses for small game though, maybe tougher but less controllable.
    3 points
  28. Why does it have to do something that a collie cross can’t?? Just because a different dog is used.. it’s not because the original dog is inferior… if you wanted a fox dog you could use a Weaton/greyhound….. that’s not because the bull/greyhound is no good, it’s just a different type of dog.

  35. From my experience of kelpies and my limited experience of collies and ACDs, I'd say that one difference is that the average collie will do as it's told (which is why people think they're intelligent) whereas the average ACD or kelpie does what it thinks is right. This may or may not correspond with what you think is right.

  36. yeh , suppose we can say that about all breeds apbt, labs, acds, collies ,gsd, kelpies all working breeeds. ithink whats breed said the tenacity of a acd, would be more than a border collie ,welsh collie, and kelpie , the drive be similar of all the herding dogs , i think the acd have more guts about deff. but ive herd few times said, some border collies who work cattle are very tough type dog , get knocked about every day, but always ready to work full on the next day, and there are the type to use for lurcher work , for there mind set, and physical attributes deff. same as some working
