Interesting things them ..... the price of war is staggering - a reaper drone costs about $32 million. I believe the RAF had between 20 and 30 of them. 1st September means ?? so I was off out at 4.30am and set up by 5am in the grey drizzle this morning full of anticipation as there are a few geese in the area ? As dawn was breaking a pack of 5 mallard came in to the goose decoys, I shot at the lead bird and 2 dropped ? a couple of more came and I bagged another 2 , so 4 mallard in the bag and then the geese started to move. A pair came in and I got a right and left then a few skeins came in and I added a few more to the bag. I’d never go back to working for somebody else, I’ve never earned the money I am at the moment and I’m getting busier. I will be hopefully taking on two lads I use to work with. This time next year I’m hoping to be off the tools. ??

I could readily see that Dutch was a genuine 'good old Boy' and he sure seemed to love his hunting... dont use the jerk paste its to hot.....i use the duns river dry seasoning ....usually on grilled chicken breast... my advise would be take some raw rabbit meat of the bone...then sprinkle a small amount over the meat then fry on a gentle heat ...or grill ...or bake in the oven.. but fryed in olive oil is best

Only just found this post . Thanks for sharing. I loved the photos , beautiful landscape , and an interesting hunt . Keep them coming, it’s always good to see how things are done in other countries . The grouse numbers here are poor . A number of factors to blame . But there probably won’t be the surplus numbers for shooting for a couple of years .
