I had a couple of days out in the shed and made myself a new catty. It's a 5mm HGH core from catty shack with linen micarta scales. After a quick go on the catch box, I headed off out after some game. My usual go to frame is another HGH so my accuracy was roughly the same. A couple of hours later, I had managed a nice brace of pheasants...now destined for the casserole pot!

I hear lads talk about big foxes from time to time but very rarely do I believe them either due to exaggeration by lads prone to same or just lack of pics . Last night I shot the biggest fox I’ve ever seen ,huge head and 43 inches from nose to tail .I used my works shovel as a gauge as no tape with me .Shovel is 40 inches and tail was 3 inches longer than that . He was curled up out the middle of a field ,digesting a huge meal no doubt as he was fat as can be .Hope the pics do him justice .Here he is against a run of the mill dog fox .Legs far longer than any fox I’ve ever seen .

without a doubt I should think all working terriers carry a drop even if it's a long way back , I like the look but I'm not a fan of dogs that want to fight be it above or below I love a voice on a terrier but also knowing if that's not enough while working when push comes to shove they can for that moment push back , and as things settle go back to using there voice and it's that sense a lot of bull breed dogs lack once they go up in the gears they cant go back down resulting in a wreak
