Must admit theres a couple of things that ive found really funny with Sky/the medias desperation to brainwash. The way they tried to report Millwall fans clapping their players for standing up as " Millwall fans clap Qpr players for taking the knee " ??........yeah course they was ! And then during the West Ham booing, the way the ground staff turned the volume to " Bubbles " right up and the Sky studio spoke over/edited out any booing....ive seen/heard friends phones who were inside the ground the booing was exactly the same as at Millwall/Colchester.....but we cant have a Premier Le10 points

Went on my mates permission the other day fairly long drive but was looking forward to getting my 4.5 month old pups out for a look with the other dogs doing some coney bushing. They followed the more experienced dogs well and I was more than pleased with them for the age. Other then leaving my 160 quid Aigle wellies in a f****n layby ? it was a good day and the pups were cream crackered afterwards and deserved a good rest. Only baby steps at this stage. Sam9 points

In all seriousness how can they have resources for this bullshit ? I try not to watch news or read papers i cant handle the blatant lies and scaremongering but theres men bieng filmed by the public trying to abduct young girls in broaddaylight yet the only police response is to people wanting the dirt c**ts moved on. A young girl had her throat slashed infront of her parents in a park by someone with known issues she wasnt checked on in person for months prior and likely to never get put in a proper jail where she can recieve a taste of her own medicine. My Gran bless her heart used to keep chickens and kill them to eat, she would save every egg that was inside and cook with them. Should not waste things you have killed imo. Theres nothing wrong with them. Cheers Arry6 points

The football thing was just a culture that young lads got into back then,boys/men fight whether its school against school, boys club against boys club or estate against estate it was all about standing up for your friends and your area which in turn tended to also be your football club....obviously like most silly things you do when you're young its all very embarrassing now looking back but they were fun days where you learned a lot about yourself and those around you.....at the time i hated Millwall with a passion but looking back i can acknowledge that they had some exceptionally tough uncom5 points

A couple more from this morning considering how cold it was, it didn’t seem to stop the dog walkers, I had to ask 2 to put their wild beasts back on a lead and explain myself about why there was 2 dead squizzers on the front of the bike it was good to see a few birds around the forestry pen drive as this is one of the drives that was massively over fed and the birds seemed to of wandered off from here5 points

It tasted like a hard boiled duck egg.It was the feathers bones and organs popping that kept causing me to gag. Not only was I the first American ,according to them, I was the first man in history to swallow the same balut egg three times?5 points

Personally i dont think they should be kneeling for anything.....id like to see politics erased from sport be that at live events or on the telly.....nobody pays for Sky sports in order to be preached at by an openly marxist political movement theres just no place in sport for politics of any description.4 points

Another point about debt, and the attitude (aka conditioning) younger folks have to it. Something that typified it for me..., two young lads I was working with maybe 15 years ago..., typical lads, into motors, showing off to birds etc. reading the papers and one sees an ad for a garage selling performance cars - “with finance available”. Says “there’s a Lamborghini here, and I can afford the payments (most of his wages for the next 5+ years).., I’m going to ring them and go round for a look”. Me: you’re not serious? Him: I am Me: but you still live with your mum ffs!!! Him4 points

Been interesting reading this, some very good observations. Agree with the point Wilf makes on ‘debt slaves’, that’s a big change over the last couple of generations. Average UK household debt of around £60k? I’d guess the oldies don’t owe much, and it’s likely that the average couple starting a family is servicing debt of maybe £200-400k. That’s a lot of interest kicking back..., and a big chunk of household income, something that simply didn’t exist 40 or 50 years ago, when a lot of us were growing up. We’ve been sold a dream that ‘living’ is getting on the property ladder (fcuking despise t4 points

This was the last Bill Brightmore Patterdale that I had and that's a young me in the background, this was around 1980. He gave it to me to breed from as the temperament was perfect and he worked well but he would try and kill any other dog. I worked him here in the south and sometimes in the Lakes, he suited me as I like to work alone.4 points

A few deerhound greyhound collie greyhounds I've had over the years. All very capable catch dogs, the big dog in the top pic would take teeth no problem and work round the hole all day long. A litter should of been had from him but I couldn't find a suitable bitch. I lost the sandy bitch in the field before I got the chance to take a litter from her. Years of breeding in them which was lost through one thing or another.4 points

Tumeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper and cinnamon Added and warmed through. Tamarind, coconut milk, juice of a whole lime and rich brown sugar Dried fruit and chopped almonds. Smells amazing !3 points

I agree on both points im one of three but only had 2 kids myself and none of our family from top to bottom are close....to some people thats probably a bit sad but in the area we came from im not sure many of my pals were close with their parents/siblings either...the East End of London for not particularly well educated young men back then was very different to what it is now and you had to do whatever it took if you wanted more than just a shitty life working down Fords or Smithfields and that probably took its toll within family life....parents tended to wash their hands of you once you re3 points

UPDATE: Had the pup checked over with a running dog vet that specialises in greyhounds and she is absolutely fine no soreness anywhere. she's had experience running in the dark with my springer in a park close to me and occasionally knocks into him but the vet reckons it was her first time with the wind knocked out of her and got a fright. All good ideas above and I will give them all a go before I take her out again. As above no rush with it all. Again thanks for the replies. ATB3 points

My advice would be to let her mature , forget about lamping this season and work on your relationship and bond. Give it time, patience is a virtue my friend especially with dogs! All the best ?3 points
