Kicked off properly today and you would think it was summer .hunting was poor ,first spot produced 1 charlie that used all the gorse to the very end and skipped onto the fells .second big spot again .fox gave the dogs the run around and eventually made it to stack of round bales .far to hot to let terrier have a go at him .he,ll be there another day.6 points

Went early Saturday morning, had a few dogs each to start. I then had a 5lb 12 Oz which I was ecstatic with as I've wanted a ray for a while now and had finally got it. I then put a bait straight over the reef as I was convinced that was the one, got rewarded with a 9lb 6 oz caught beautifully in the scissor by the little chinu pennel. My mate then had a 6lb 12oz, quickly followed by a 10lb 13oz just as day broke. He then had a smaller one of 3/4 lb. Went out again tonight, very rough with an onshore wind. Only fished for 3 hours or so over the top; had a few dogs and a small strap eel. T6 points

This is definitely a favourite topic of mine on here and I have nothing but respect for greyman putting so much time and effort into providing evidence big cats live in the British isles6 points

I've no love for Boris, but I think he's the best of a very bad bunch. At least he didn't roll over to the EU ! If May had got her way, we would have "BRINO", Brexit in name only, we would have been a vassal state, obeying all their rules, but with no say in the making of them ! The traitor Corbyn would sell us out to any country, never mind the EU ! He had over 30 years of voting against the EU, but changed his stance 180 degrees just to suit his tribal allegiances, f**k the rest of us ! And the LibDems ? They are the shit weasels who not only wanted us to stay in the EU,5 points

If your caught doing something you shouldn't be doing, and silly enough to film it then... Just take it on the chin... Ride your bird, pay your fines... And use your head next time?5 points

I've just watched Kate Garraway defending the arsehole who said he "jumped for joy" when he heard that Trump had Covid, even though her own husband has been in intensive care with Covid for months ! The lefts hatred of Trump outweighs everything else........ Cheers.5 points

Damn lucky there's lads that pay no heed to the ban and carry on under the radar, breeding working and testing dogs of different types, those lads are the real dog men.5 points

A stunning Mediterranean bird arrived on our shores at the weekend and i made the 200 mile round trip to see and photograph it, obviously off course, more than likely due to strong winds and a slight lack of coordination this beautiful bird ended up in West Yorkshire, feeding on grubs and mites at the grounds of a cricket club...4 points

With herding dog lurcher composites, its all about keeping everyone happy....? In my experience, you have really got to want one, or you might end up,.. a tad disappointed...? I've kept them for several decades , so I know the score,.but for many lads, they are simply a 'bridge too far,' and hardly worth the effort.?4 points

Proper dog men aren't ever just messing about WILF, everything they do revolves around their dogs, I know lads that have lost wives businesses houses but carry on its an obsession or an addiction if you like. Plenty of messers alright I'm one myself I just like to get out for a hunt but some lads live and breathe dogs and that's the kind of lads I'm talking about.4 points

When I was in first grade my father was a factory worker basically in a sweat shop. When he received his Christmas bonus he was supposed to pay the gas bill instead we drove to Mississippi and bought a good coonhound named rowdy. It was a cold winter for us but we had the best coonhound around?3 points

I paid 26k for mine it’s now around 300k with a rentable value of £1200 a month, like you say most people just sit on it waiting to die or go into care and have it all taken away from them I,m going to view another boat on Wednesday and if I like living a float I,ll sell it all in 5 years sort the kids out with a deposit each and see were life takes me, life’s an adventure not a sentence ?3 points

I think this is f***ing awesome. Nearly there and not a moment too soon. Full disclosure; there are a couple of foreign warships in there and half the 35s are USMC. No doubt things are far from rosy with respect to the future of the UK military or politics but given we are trying to walk the path of independence again I genuinely believe this big stick is a good thing.3 points

I know loads who were and are still mad for it... Myself included... But with the ban, work commitments, starting a family etc things change, gone are the days where we would be out daily... You have to move with the times and adapt... I lived for working my terriers... But only a fool would carry on regardless in todays current climate... The biggest problem these days if you ask me is jealousy and clowns looking for a pat on the back ..... That's why most lads doors go through... As I get older I'm happy just to be out... Knocking stuff over is a bonus... You can sicken yourself and a dog ki3 points

We've had plenty opportunities to break the Lib/Lab/Con monopoly ! We could have voted UKIP or Brexit Party when Farage was in charge and seen if he was really any different to the rest of them, but we didn't........ Cheers.3 points

I respect that stum but I doubt you have had dogs seized or been under investigation or it has cost you what it's cost myself or others that do or did run the gaulet so making a joke out of it isn't really funny we both have different views on testing a dog and I respect yours were both in the same game so I will leave it there3 points

Just a wild throw at stuff . I don’t know if any of you follow gallelio closely. But it’s the death knell of Dog based field sports imho. lincs is quite easily the worst place for coursing , always has been and it seem they have their shit together . They have quietly grown this brand of policing it with forces using anpr cameras , patrols , drones , helis , quads and a massive drive in the local community , going to schools , having the lacs , the wildlife trusts , the nfu, neighbourhood watch etc all working in the same page . Look how the fen lads are portrayed in the media now3 points

Maybe the lads who do "pay heed" to the ban have to much to lose? I've never claimed to be a dogman just somebody who works dogs a dog man to me is someone who works and lives dogs 24/72 points

I can’t believe how quickly it’s come around, but it’s our first shoot on Saturday. Social distancing , and transport and food is going to be a bit different, but we will get there. I’m looking at the birds and they are well tailed up and they have lost their juvenile feathers on there heads . Got to get pegs put out soon . Already got the drives planned . Someone asked me if I was nervous ? I said “ask me in December “.2 points

My point is that running dogs on badgers is bad for dogs , and ultimately bad for the image of running dogs . But we don’t need to worry about it do we , because it’s banned anyway. I’m someone who has been involved with dogs a long time and I find it , if I’m honest , barbaric . I’ve got no problem killing thing’s. I do it daily. But I think I am humane . I use the right tools for the job . If you think it’s fine , crack on , you’ve got your moral compass, I’ve got mine . I apologise if I’ve come across as judgemental , I also realise that it might be a case of th2 points
