Yes mate, exactly......I think he amazing and it’s a bit hypocritical to read and listen to Trumps critics. They have literally created the fertile soil for Trump to get elected......if they had just reigned in their right on, everything’s OK, everyone go’s to uni, a mans a woman and a woman’s a man, black history, self hating madness then Trump would never have got elected. But they didn’t, they took the piss and so Donny is in the White house and f**k me it’s fun to watch them squeal ! Lol8 points

It’s crazy have you ever seen an opposite party any where in the world filled with so much hate ? It’s eaten them alive ,they chuck so much shit to don and his supporters when themselves are so full of holes. , Will the time come when the farmer that sports a vote conservative sign gets his farm burned to the ground and a house that has a vote labour sign get his windows bricked.? The left have created a monster of political hate , never the case yrs back they put all in since don got elected ther tactics have set the bar very low5 points

I wouldn't keep any dog that's a liability with others or stock.... If it can't be taught some basic manners then it's backfill.. Can't be doing with the head f**k of having eyes in your arse... I've always found the quiet and steady types last longer at the job.... Same goes for the owners?5 points

The games fecked to be honest as a younger man i worked a dog hard and culled hard a dog was either a keeper or sleeper wether that was lurcher or terrier and looking back I know I got it wrong on some I chased the holy grail it doesn't exist I needed to work a dog to its strengths I think looking back I failed a dog more than it failed me5 points

....live from north Staffordshire. The pyjamas still work (partly), the 457 takes its first fox (eventually) with some special help from a friend and his labradors he has just entered to retrieving fox's. So I screwed up somewhere with the 80yd off hand shot with a Remington HV HP and shot the vixen across her back hams smashing the off side rear leg. She made a wooded slang with wet bogs....I should of had my dog in the car! However I was 300 yards from a good friend so I phoned him. 1/2 hour later his dogs found it and we were both elated. With much gratitude we parted c4 points

Get ya dog and lamp. Walk wherever you want to walk if you think it’s a decent spot and your dog should learn you as much as you’ll learn him. I never new fuckall about lamping really I’d been out down the Forest of Dean on a night I’ll never forget ?. Seen a good dog run, I can say he was a good dog as for what he was doing single handed was very impressive although wouldn’t be my kind of lamping but did get me thinking. Got myself a lamp a dog and off we went and taught ourselves most things. Couple of mates helped out at times but we were out as much as possible. You don’t need to wait till4 points

I just think the most important thing is to remember this shit is supposed to be fun, lol. If your standards are so high or specific you'd rather pack up than settle then what a shame.4 points

Weather down here is glorious, sadly game is a bit sparse to say the least .. Cant have it all I suppose..?4 points

I think c green has hit the nail on the head In his post . as for the folk saying that the standard doesn’t have to be high. No not really . If your just cuffing around anything will do really . I think mine and wilfs arguement is being lost in that all I want from a dog is honesty . A dog that you can walk into a field with day or night and think at whatever gets up ,“ yeah your in trouble here” ive had dogs that I could comfortably take anywhere . Going out for a shine , walking a hill, taking the terriers , walking the land . No bother , which one will I take tonight ?4 points

For what it’s worth here’s the stav review. ( I didn’t see any foxes ) It works best on x12 mag, is it as good as the digex? No, but that is a full NV scope and the sightmark is far better than the digex in daylight, it took a bit of getting used to, it works best out to about 150, you can pick up eye shine way beyond that but going up above x16 it does become fuzzy, as an entry level NV at £600 I don’t think there’s anything better on the market, I’d like to try a couple of different ir’s to see if they are any different, would I recommend it? Yes, it does what it’s meant to do ?4 points

Yes mate .Owned several .From rabbit only dogs to all rounders to specialist types .Comes a time when you can’t do it all though and I gave up lurchers in favour of a rifle .Only bred one litter that fell far short of the parents .The little pat bull whippet was the best I had ,she was a mistake breeding to a mates bitch we never knew was in season .Back of the van shag without us seeing . She would go to ground ,lamp all night ,work with the gun and ferrets as well as kill rats with the best of them .They say you only get one good dog in a lifetime but I’ve had two greats ,the little lurche3 points

Don’t lower the tone fuckwit, it’s been a good conversation and you have said some good sensible stuff....Don’t go crashing off the end of the pier now, there’s a good lad ?3 points

Its probably not best ideas to go into this on a forum but ill try to explain as best i can. Its not really about gameness or hardness once youve seen real good commitment out of a dog whether its a spaniel terrier lurcher or shepherd its hard to look at dogs not as comitted the same. I admire a good digging terrier but i dont own them now but i do keep a bushing type terrier im sure digging men would think what i keep are junk and although i admire a digging dog its no good to me i wouldnt take the best in the world for a gift. So i keep a less hassle type that i have more sport with i think3 points

Get a lamp an get the dog out if it’s old enough an has some basic training. take what people say on here with a pinch of salt.only thing I’d say is don’t expect miracles an expect the dog to be taking stuff out of its calibre straight away take it slow an steady an don’t over match the dog on impossible catches build on confidence in the dog good dogs are made by the person holding the slip if the dog as it in em all the best fella3 points

I've mentioned a dog a few times on here, who is I believe in ths mould of what you are saying here. He is the only dog I have seen who done everything he done, time and time again.. a horrible machine in many ways... but that's what the man behind the lead wanted and he is a good friend of mine who does more hunting and travelling for it than anyone I know... it really was the perfect combination of man and dog in this instance...I dont believe he'll get another the same... I considered putting that dog over my bitch a few years back, on paper they would have all the right attribute3 points

^^^ Reminds me of when the mayor of Limerick (Widely known as " Stab City ", because of its horrendous levels of knife crime) made the catchy pronouncement that: " Limerick isn't 'Stab City'; It's a Fab city! " Very next day, a local paper gleefully reported that " A Man Was Fabbed To Death, Last Night " ? I was in fukking tears!3 points

Mine is mostly coursing blood with collie / grey bred in a generation back if I remember correctly. She can catch where others can't on wet arable and is fast and agile for a 26" dog. Loves using her nose and tries her best to work cover, unfortunately also makes her a bugger for hunting on. Other downside is a weak jaw and lack of strength, even if it was pre-ban she is not suitable for retrieving anything other than rabbits. If I lived somewhere with enough rabbits to give her loads of runs in quick succession lamping or ferreting when younger I could have got better discipline but as it is3 points

Any meat or veg can be "curried", and, of course, curries vary greatly through out the world. A "Chinese" curry here in the U.K. bares no resemblance to a curry in China ! Same as an "Indian " curry; India is such a divers place it has many, many curries. I remember a great Indian chef in the Middle East who made fantastic curries, but when veg curry was on the menu, I loved his potato and cauliflower curry, but his spinach curry would make me wretch ! Some of the great curries have a lot of "heat", others have none. We must remember that "currying" meat or fish was2 points
