  2. I lived in Saudi for many years, and saw real punishments, in real time ! Heads chopped off for murder, rape, paedophilia, drug smuggling, and the quaint old offence of "poisoning a well" ! Hand chopped of for theft, hand AND foot for certain offences. Anything from caning to crucifiction depending on the crime. Prisons are absolute shitholes; 20, 30, 40 to a cell, if you want to eat, your family or friends have to bring you food or else it's just bread and water ! Just imagine the screaming outrage from the snowflake, woke, liberal left if these punishments were sugge

  3. Popped up to a sheep farm last night as the farmer had seen a fox . I placed out the caller and soon had a set of eyes appear 400yds away but it wouldn't come in just content to sit on the banking in the long grass. So off I set stalking in to it , got to around 120 yds and set up on the quad sticks . Hard to see in the long vegetation but managed to get a good shot off ?

  4. the paten was building up nicely then the flight line changed so I set up in the foliage about 60yrd to the other side of the pattern to try and drive them through the middle of us but it was a non starter. I caught this tiny terrorist in the corner of my eye to the right about 40yrd away, they can fair move for little feckers.. saw one dragging a rabbit across a field last year, they have to be at the top for size to weight strength. so after deciding the crows weren't playing any more I went over to see me mate, I could hear his tummy rumbling and started laughing.. h

  5. My missus had a trip to the Arctic, ticking another thing off her bucket list; doing her "Agnes Hailstone, Life Below Zero" impression ! Not exactly roughing it or living off the land ! LOL ! But it was about 30 below ! I was quite envious when she told me about the dog mushing, reindeer sledding, ice fishing, ptarmigan shooting, etc ! Cheers.

  6. Anyone who buys knock off gear is just as guilty as the the guy who stole it in the first place . He reckons the stolen tools are being shipped abroad? Doesn’t surprise me , we are plagued by OCGs targeting Quads and ATVs and tractors . A neighbouring farmer was contacted by police to tell him that a tractor he had stolen a year before turned up in Eastern Europe. When I go out in the morning it takes me ages to unlock my ATV , I’ve got to turn the alarm off , undo the padlock and chain securing it to the floor , then two padlocks on a barrier in front of the door and

I did a static line jump for charity in Badminton .1000,2000,3000 check parachute .Was very peaceful until I realised I was landing in a cornfield .I say landing ,more of a flop and drag .I was spun round last minute so the training went out the window and I landed more or less on my back with the chute dragging me a good 100 yards .Missed the drop zone by several hundred metres lol . Good practice though for when they drop us in to the capitol ,start of the revolution .

  20. I’ve honestly never had a problem with anyone because of my hunting and shooting activities. I keep myself to myself. There is a chap up the road from me and you only have to look at his house and his beaten up discovery to know he is into shooting . He only ever wears realtree pattern clothing . BASC sticker in the windscreen. Pheasant feeders and drinkers in the front garden a weathervane with a man with a dog and gun . It’s almost like he is saying “ this is who I am , f@ck you if you don’t like it . I don’t know if he has any problems as I don’t talk to him if I can help it . But it takes

  22. Fair enough, I try and keep out the way of nutters now, my FAC means far more to me than putting some crank in their place, when I was younger and out running dogs I’d think nothing of rolling around in a field with some idiot, but I’m getting a bit old for that now, I find now that if you know your land and rights then it’s best to be polite and explain to them that they are the uneducated idiot, they really don’t like being talked down to in a calm and quiet manner ?

  29. Saudi nationals have free healthcare, free schooling, house building grants, there was no taxes whatsoever, until recently when 5% vat was imposed on certain items. Food, fuel, electricity and water are subsidised. BUT, it's certainly not a "free" country ! There's no voting, criticism of the royals or the government, (basically the same thing), is punished severely, woman are, to some extent, second class citizens, but the vast majority of Saudis I know are happy with the set up. In the west, we make a big thing of saudi women not being allowed to drive, but my daughter in law says

  31. It's an "Absolute Monarchy", Wilf. The King appoints ministers and controls all finances. It is, in effect, HIS country ! There is no immigration, and you can't apply for citizenship. You can only live there as a foreigner if you have a sponsor and a job. Its very difficult for Saudis to marry foreigners, a saudi man can marry a Muslim, Christian or Jew, but a saudi woman can only marry a Muslim.......go figure ! It has opened up slightly , you can now get a visit visa to attend one of the big sporting events they now hold. Before, you had to have close relatives living there,

  34. Great photos. What did you take them with? BTW found you a gun so you can take out those crickets. A flea gun to go with the mouse gun, 2.4mm, let the flammin' begin: Apparently the UK has already become worried by it as the 0.71 ft lbs can pentrate the skin or eye at close range according to experts. Hang on, don't we already sell 12ft lbs air guns and aren't handguns already banned? It's snowflaking hard in blighty. https://www.zdnet.com/article/worlds-smallest-gun-is-highly-concealable-triggers-fears/

  36. When did this become a thing. Another hippy load of bollox. Seen something tonight on 'professional social media' (linked in) about one of my previous employers. An apprentice there has won the BAME apprentice of the year. That's right, he is the best 'Black Asian or Mixed Ethicity' apprentice. Out of all the coloureds he is the best grafter, would've sold well a few centurys back. How the f**k does that slide? They can't be singled out for race......Unless it's for an award that excludes the white contenders. There isn't a White apprentice of the year that I'm aware of. Don't propos

On a good day I could hit anything but a bad day used to crusify me, same catty, same bands/ammo, same anchor/reference and it just didn’t happen !. It knocks your confidence. So I moved back to instinctive and for me the rest is history as they say. I would love to be able to shoot holding with my right hand ( I’m a lefty) it would open a lot of opportunities ( windows ?) . I may put a light set up on my spare scout and give it a go.
