Back in September of 2018 I bred a litter of pups from my lurcher Boots,he's basically a 5/8 Grey & 3/8 Saluki & a 5/8 Grey 3/8 Bull bitch called Roxy my son owns..last season was obviously their 1st working & to say it's been a rollercoaster of a ride with them would be an understatement, the dog pup Bear started away beautifully, taking everything in his stride no matter what I put in front of him,he's a big brute of a dog standing 28tts & weighing 43.19kg or 93lb in layman's terms, fantastic temperament on him, just a lovely dog to have around, sadly in December he broke his nec24 points

Just watched on breaky TV him getting knighted by the Queen. ...and I liked the fact he wouldn't tell the interviewer what they chatted about.....nice to see a bit of feel good stuff instead of the usual doom and gloom...nice little story17 points

Id take a hammering before I'd stand and let the cnut walk off. And I'd be calling my work mates a bunch yellow bastruds if they stood and watched. But maybe that's just me.9 points

I couldn’t agree more . Deer shooting is a chore . I get absolutely no pleasure out of dealing with deer . However I do get satisfaction taking genuine stalkers out and putting them on the deer . You can see how much it means to some people and helping others have a good trip is always rewarding .6 points

It's been 10 days now since I smoked a cigarette. No big deal of course and a mere 10 days does not equate to having quit for good.. But what has surprised me is how easy it has been. I have been a smoker for about 40 years and a relatively heavy smoker for some time. The last time that I bought 20 purely on a whim I also got the vape pen pictured. According to friends who "vape" there are far better makes and models out there but it only cost £12 and £3 for the liquid. It has been a seamless and painless transition from cigarettes to vape from the 1st time I used it. The 20 pack is still her5 points

I've had good fun with the first cross deer/grey bitch, but she's 11 now and retired, so I'm in the market for a pup or two. My mate has mated a greyhound bitch he brought in from Ireland with one of his deerhounds; The bitch is sired by Mafi Magic, the Irish coursing grey, and the sire has a lot of Doxhope blood, so the breeding there. Im in the happy position that there a few good choices about. Cheers.5 points

The most successful ex smokers I know myself included just went cold turkey and wanted to quit. Nearly 8 years for me now.5 points

Certain species of tortoise and the dodo are now extinct, because civilised country’s like England used them for food on long journeys many years ago, the reason we done it was not because we were cruel and intent on wiping the world out with viruses, but because of a lack of refrigeration, absolutely no different from these people, we have just progressed and in 50 to a 100 years so will have they, it’s propaganda nothing more mate, portray the worse of mankind then brand anyone who has an interest in any form of country sports with the same brush, peta are the real enemy not some old Asian e5 points

With the WHO stating that Covid19 actually stays airborne for up to 2 hours and many universities proving UV-C in the correct light band will kill the virus, it has got a bit busy for us.... I'm f****d...7 days straight setting up production, working 7am till 10-30pm... back in tomorrow to clear first batch of orders then training production line. If there are any lads, ladies in South Devon area with some bench assembly skills, preferably soldering skills and want work send me a PM..4 points

Lamped last night in some cut grass but saw nowt but hares which is good news! I may of nobbled one of my lamp shys! My pigeon shooting this summer is mediocre to say the least! No streams of birds on flight lines this year so far so decoying has been very random! And let's not mention not so good shooting on my part with nitro guns....so today I broke down and perrrchased a pigeon bouncer and prized my doubled barreled 12g muzzleloader out of the cabinet. Wow, still not many birds but I've hardly missed! I shoot this better than anything modern! And I get black and smell of farts! T4 points

Thank you mate ?. If I could have my way I would hunt deer with muzzloaders and archery gear too. The times I have hunted deer, Fallow, red and roe have all been the most exciting when I can nearly reach and touch them so hunting them with traditional old gear would be the cherry on the cake for me.4 points

On my way back to the farm I spotted one of the veg patch raiding rabbits crossing the track so let it have it with a 40g mini magnum, the old girl came out the house chuffed to bits that another one had bit the dust and tell me she had something for me, before producing these, I’m not sure what she expects me to do with them and I didn’t ask ?3 points

I found them ok, but I guess my love of hunting, Salukis, falcons, and my attempts to learn and speak to them in their language helped ! Cheers.3 points

I lived in Saudi 26 years. When I first went in '78 to work for the Saudi Air Force, I attended an induction talk. One of the first things we were told was not to stop at an RTA no matter what. This was because if you tried to help and someone died, you'd be responsible ! I thought it couldn't be that bad but it was, car accidents everywhere, three or four just on the drive to work ! It was carnage ! I had the same Beduin run into the back of me with his pick up, twice in about a hundred yards ! By the time I left in 04, things had changed drastically, new roads, traffic li3 points

In some countries, they eat sheeps eyes, balls, heads, brains, feet, tail. This is because they don't waste a bit of the animal. Some people here recoil in horror at the thought. We just eat the "choice" bits. But do we ? Don't look to closely into burgers, chicken nuggets, sausages.........you might not like what you find ! I too have spent a lot of time in Asia, and yes, they eat anything ! Whos been to Thailand and not tried the "roach coach", deep fried insects touted around the bars on a barrow, or drank a glass of snakes blood, in drink fuelled bravado !3 points

That’s the trouble with stalking, getting close enough to get a good shot of is a art in its self , but once the round has left the barrel , it’s just a pain in the arse with all the caffule that has to follow , and at my age I can’t be bothered ?3 points

Not me...I never worked in the pits....and back then I lived just inside Derbyshire. ..all my mates were on strike....in fact 9 of them went down during the strike for arson. ..burnt out a load of busses that were taking miners to work....some of you may remember the old ferreting pics I used to post 10 + years ago with my late friend paddy...he was one of them...3 points

It's all well and good going on to the ecig but if your still on it 7 year later you're still a nicotine addict, it should be an aid to quitting and wean yourself off the nicotine going through the weaker strengths to zero nicotine. I know lads that smoked more with the ecig than fags because you don't have to go outside etc, that's not quitting.3 points
