My g.grandfather was a pow in ww1, held captive by the Turks. He was a surgeon, he helped many escape, and when his time came to escape, he decided to stay behind and tend to the sick and wounded. He made a Ouija board, convinced the guards that he could talk to the dead, they were afraid of him in the end, so they left him and others alone. He was a real character iv been told. Atb j9 points

Each to their own. We are all free to make up our own minds and choose, what suits best? However, I have definitely lost, good working bitches that have suffered through not being bred from,or preferably, brought out of season, by dint of a vasectomised male ferret. Locally, most bitches were taken to the Wessex ferret club and jill -jabbed for a few quid,..this action prevented hundreds of unnecessary kits being created,...the practice was not foolproof, but was a step in the right direction towards halting, the seasonal influx,of unwanted young ferrets. Personally, we found a6 points

Hello, I just finished this small "Wanderer" with 80mm Blade from 1.3505, soldered guard from bronze, musk ox spacer and Sambar. For me, that's the ideal size! Regards Nicolas5 points

Well since I've had my fac & sgc, I've found that I've never used my fac airgun, so the decision to sell it & replace it with something that will be of more use to me, my 22lr does everything & more than the .25 fac air done & I prefer to use the 22lr, the 17hmr is a pleasure to use & has a use, so variation in now for .223 & sound mod, 1 for 1, put myself a nice howa 1500 away at the rfd, so it's just a waiting game waiting on the phone call to collect my licence back from the local police station.4 points

I can honestly say I've never seen a single terrier from this line that I like the look of, to high in the leg and to weak in the head. I hear the works in them, i just don't like the stamp, and no, it's not a cheap shot, just stating my opinion...............and before you say it, yes i know opinions are like arseholes4 points

I wouldn't want to be depending on some of the today's younger generation to defend us. There was a book written about this, and dedicated to my g.grandfather. I think he had some thing to in ww2 as well, I will have to check that out. No in active duty, more of a teaching role.. It would have been an honour to be able to sit with these men today and chat with them for a few hours. Atb j4 points

Max, you clearly don't understand me but I'll entertain this for a moment longer. Given that I'm not a wealthy man, I would rather spend two thousand pounds plus on actually doing shit that defines me, rather than spend it on art work that tells everyone what man I want to be but aren't because I'd preferred to spend the money on telling them than actually doing it. Christ, you're hard work.3 points

He could shift mate. I would have him again in a heartbeat. To me he looked like a racy half cross but he was only 3/16ths bull.3 points

LIfelong West Ham fans like myself have to take a back seat now.....the clubs gone and will never be the same for us we get that.....for many of us the passions gone and its just a big meeting place for old pals. Good times for the 2 bob " new fans " we are collecting will kick in around 2023 when our current owners will be off and more than likely over those next years we,ll become the latest Chelsea/Man City............like i say the clubs gone for us.2 points

You could always try a dry lube which as the name suggests is dry almost immediately. No nasty sticky stuff for residue to stick. I bought some on ebay for my semi auto shotgun which seems to work a treat. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K2-PTFE-Dry-Lubricant-Clear-Teflon-Grease-Spray-NO-SILICONE-Long-Protection-WD40/332555554828 Phil2 points
