Dont often post in this section but thought I would give it a go. Had a leg of wild boar gifted by a friend a while back. Decided to slow roast it in AGA yesterday to have for my tea and whatever left was going in a pie. Well seen as we didn't get in from trick or treating till 7pm by time we had sorted kids I didn't fancy eating so trimmed the leg, braised it in some gravy while I cooked tatties and mushrooms. Leg was roasted with salt pepper chilli flakes rubbed on it and a few cloves of garlic poked in it. Tatties just boiled and sliced. Mushrooms cooked in oven covered with foil in a bit6 points

So there some tight barstewards on the South Coast as well then Mitch. If you like it and can't get a deal, buy it and cry all the way home but at least you will have it the next day and you will have forgotten the price you paid. ? Phil4 points

What should folks do Joe? Roll over and take it? Or dish him out some of his own medicine? If he learnt to wind his f***ing neck in, and tuck his teeth into his waistband every know and then.. There wouldn't be no drama.... But when some f***ing numpty dishes it out slagging folks off trying to get a rise on every thread.... Partners, kids, other folks lifestyle choices.... It gets folks backs up.... Some f***ing clown spoke to me like that on the street, bar, work they be picking their jaw out the gutter?manners cost f**k all in my book..... Sadly max obviously has none.... That's why h4 points

When i was around 11,12 years old a woman round the corner used to cut me and my brothers hair and i'd sit stock still just watching her cleavage while she cut our hair and it was something i'd well look forward to,well she had a son around the same age who was always sticking his head round the corner of the door and sticking his v's up at us and pulling stupid faces and when we left he'd walk down the path behind us gobbing off and there's was no way i was ever going to ruin my boob treat so we just used to just put up with it.Well one summers evening the same old went on but i'll never forg4 points

Saturday saw me and my mate Alec traveling upto our mate Malcolm’s to do a spot of lamping the conditions weren’t favourable has it went still and the ground was very sodden but that’s lamping for you, I was very impressed with Alec’s bitch Luna she ran very well and didn’t miss much, Malcolm,s little bitch ran well to and for her size she does very well, I ran my dog Dan he has a different style of running to the other two dogs but he’s still has effective and he ran well to, we where fortunate to have a lad with us who’s pretty handy with a camera ? and he took a few pics of the dogs, cheer3 points

Well I never managed to bag myself a buck before the end of the season, but I did give the opportunity to someone else just before dark last night he managed one, it would appear that this was a good one to take as he told me it was in poor condition, so fingers crossed I’ll get to take the first roe doe over the next couple of weeks, work, weather and all of life’s other inconvenience’s permitting3 points

Max , when you talk about the north east lands etc , greyhounds, travelling in Thailand etc it’s really nice to read but sometimes mate you seek offence when there isn’t any I’m sure your a great family man , so as mentioned, have a little snap off here and go immerse yourself in the important things in life , I don’t have a phone at present and it’s beem a real breath of fresh air for a month or so stay calm and come back soon , maybe next week when s a f c have a new manager3 points

You should always have proof before flinging mud can never get my head round max gives it all the traditions of the north east bollox but had to find someone from literally the other side of the world to tolerate his nonsense it’s almost too embarrassing for words3 points

Sausage, I agree entirely. Look at knife crime. Solution, lets ban legitimate people from buying knives online or in single units, or carrying knives in toolboxes, fishing boxes etc. Effect on knife crime zero. Pretty much the same as the firearm restrictions. Every time there's an excuse they tighten controls yet it makes no difference to firearm crime because they're cracking down on the people who are legitimate owners not the crazies. Look at the hand gun ban, handgun crime increased for a decade afterwards and only went down due to better detection and policing, not the ban. Restrictions3 points

That’s the way mate ??That’s it fella I’m the same people say money talks it’s never spoke to me ?? my dogs are contracted to me for life weather they make good or bad working dogs they have a home for life regardless ive only ever had one dog that didn’t really make my expectations (bedlington x whippet she was a handy ferreter an busher but as a lamper no good she’d try her hardest but the wrong dog for the land she was only a tiny 17tts so hard pushed on the fast moving land we got round here she’d burn out to quickly she was bred from workers but fortune wasn’t on our side she died a few m3 points

You could be on to something there coot, I could put out a shooting self help book, with such gems of encouragement as, breath you loon, keep calm and shoot the tw*t and do you want a bottle of wine with that because you are making a right bloody meal of it, you will be first on the acknowledgement page but as a northerner it would be against my religion to share any wealth ?3 points

It,s good to see younguns being encouraged by such kind ,discerning words from a true diplomat like yourself Stav ."Breath you loon" could be the new "keep calm and carry on",will you still speak to us when your a millionaire Stav your lordship3 points

Words of wisdom there shaaark?Personally never known a dog be spoilt from being held back..... Seen loads start off flying from a young age, then jib mind? Pre ban... I Found having them out with the terriers in the day and letting them have a tug, run any bolters with a few other dogs having a rag on the dispatch , would always make a better dog for lamping them when the time came ?3 points

I freely admit to being a racist, because my race matters as much as any other and to me it matters more than any other. What you are is a disgrace, you have degraded your race and your culture. But, you ain’t content to just accept the fact and live with it, you want to convince everyone that’s how it’s always been and have a go at people who have not done that and don’t agree with it. If you are so ashamed of what you have done that you feel the need to try and ram your reasoning down everyone’s throat at any given opportunity then you shouldn’t have done it. I moved, I’m3 points

I can "lend" you a couple of lines for your book if it helps."You waiting for a written invite ,shoot the fecking thing." Or the old classic "Hoping it,l die of old age take the bloody shot" If your out as a lamping team there,s always "stop looking for doggers and find me that fox",unless you are looking for doggers The money i wouldn,t expect to see as my family are from Scotland i,m used to tight northerner,s ,my most famous family christmas present was an empty box and when i tearfully asked dad what it was supposed to be he said" son that,s very rare it,s an Action man deserter2 points

I have used the T1x with a GRS stock, and whilst the stock offers a lot (and easy) adjustment I didn't find the pistol grip particularly comfortable, just too bulky for me, and my hands are not small. Also looked at a GRS stock for our new Club .223 Howa, but same, issues, frankly I'm not knocked out with the build quality either. The kit looks a good option! Now this is what you call a pistol grip, Oryx stock we ended up with on the new club .223. (no Idea if its available for T1x)2 points

Not really wishing to get dragged into this but how the feck does someone turn a thread about an election into defending the colour of there child, sad because max does and has made some good points and posts in the past but this constant poor me poor me thing that now seems to come in every thread is becoming slightly sad, if going somewhere made you feel so insecure you thought everyone was hating on you and yours why the feck would you even return there, my family history goes back to the Roma coming from India and I do look a bit tanned to say the least I have a half cast nephew with niggl2 points

Patience is the best quality anyone could have with lurchers/sighthounds. Can practically guarantee that your youngest greyhound bitch would be LETHAL with foxes, if you gave her another year before you tried her. Not telling you or anyone else how to do things, it's your dog/dogs, but wait til they're about 2 1/2 years old before you start them, you'd be surprised, and very happy ?2 points
