  2. There's only 2/3 lads imo, who have the bloodlines i know graft on another level and keep them right , who I would happily pay money for a pup off....... Not heard of them selling anything to anyone outside their circle..... So best breed your own or pay and take your chances? Personally I wouldn't pay for a pup from anyone without first seeing both parents graft first....... Even then that won't garentee your pup will graft.... Not met a man yet who has the magic formula..... Finding the truth and honesty are a lot harder than to find a grafter from my own experiences ?

  3. Why worry what others do abc? If the way you do things are working out.... I'd not be bothered what others are doing... I was stuck myself once and payed £300 for a young bitch that had started her digging career because I was on my arse.... Turned out to be 1 of the best dogs I've ever dug over imo, and I made her what she was, throwing the work at her..... Turned down a few grand for her a few times when out in company. I'd pay 3 times that if I could find another if I'm honest...... Everything I've had since has not been fit to eat her shit..... 1 minute you can be over dogged... The next o

  5. It’s not just as black and white as buying a dog you see work ABC , if a lad has a dog from a pup then the dog will usually build a bond with his owner and work all the better for it. There’s a lot more to a terrier than it being a digging terrier or a failure, there’s so much of a grey area in between the two poles that who’s to say what you’re buying? Start from a pup EVERY time for me, f*ck all this buying the finished article shite.

  7. I hate these types of threads. Money should be avoided with working terriers at all costs IMO. The amount of time and effort that some lads put into their dogs it would be impossible to put a price on a dog, lads that do seem to buy dogs all the time are the ones that seem to flit in and out of the game when they fancy and think they can just dive in at the deep end and get what they want with ££££££.

  8. I don't think I've ever brought a pup in my adult life, I'm way to tight and I'd be insulted if you asked, a "f**k off" often upsets so I wouldn't bother.

  10. Took a walk somewhere I have not lamped for about three years. It was sad in as much as there was no rabbits. I use to be able to fill a sack with them in an hour or so. Not any more! I walked the maize stubbles and got a glint, no sooner had I spotted it it had gone! I carried on. In a gateway and even in the dark I could see fresh fallow slots. They seem to be doing well here and I often think about getting serious about taking one but then I think better of it. I turned back for the car and on the way counted how many rabbit I had seen, seven! As I neared the car and from

However the only advice I can offer is, when it’s done put it down and leave it there. Turn your face to the sun and get on with the business of living and honouring the memory of your wife which is, I’m sure, exactly what she would have wanted you to do. Dont make the postscript to her life a tragic one, you have to be a stronger man than that. Keep us all posted and I hope to see a few accounts

  25. If you value your terrier you'd find the right home for it, if you're terrier was the real McCoy there'd be a queue ready and waiting to take it. I don't like the ready made market, I've kept dogs I don't get on with just to save them the pain of the merry go round, at least until I feel they're going to the right home.

  33. I got hold of one of them pricks note books years ago when they dropped it. f**k me, that made for exciting reading !! ”Cat reported looking hot in window.......drove past the address, cat had gone “ “Horse reported in field looking skinny, looked at it and it was eating hay” and on and on and on it went like that........ They tried give it it all the “I’m an officer” bollocks on that encounter so I just said “Bollocks, you are no more than the old granny who works up charity shop, f**k off” And they did......minus the note book ! Pricks !

Scratch the outside of the Cap and bottom of the Stalk if it goes bright yellow you have one. There are more poisonings in the UK than with any other Mushroom. Look how alike they are. How to tell. 44. Just curious if anyone has done a full barrel cold re-blue, how did it turn out and which product did you use, I have a bottle of 44/40 supplied by Brownels in the US and found that to be the best product for even large touch ups but I have never done a full barrel, there may be a better product out there apart from Birchwood Casey which is as effective as tap water.
