  1. Thanks, only a small boat as we couldn't afford a great big one, but it will be all ours and no one can take it from us, unlike the house that I've rented for 30 years and the owners, the Church, greedy pigs, have decided to sell. Actually, we were always going to end up on a boat just not quite so soon, and yes, there will be lurchers on board. Only got one young one now, and sadly one of my Airedale lurchers is riddled with mammary cancer and is a grumpy sod to boot so she won't be coming. Andy still has one lurcher but since his stroke he's pretty much stopped any form of hunting. I'll stil

  2. When I work at a Amusement park in maintenance I used to drive around the park in a golf buggy. Everywhere I stopped my little Robin would pop up after I fed him the corner of my pasty when it was all covered in snow. Laugh is and think it took me a year to twig it wasn't same one but a different one at every different machine, always wondered how he eat so much Lol. But the best thing I could for getting then to feed of you hand was very small suet pellets the Sansburys used to sell smaller that the rest you can buy and pink. Cheers Arry

  7. We could only afford an old Springer, but she's sound, has been overplated properly and everything works as it should. It should do us for the next 5 years until Andy retires when we'll hopefully be able to afford something bigger, unless, of course, I've got used to living in a sardine can.? We looked at quite a few boats, most ridiculously overpriced, including a beautiful old converted iron barge 57 feet, but it needed too much doing to it, and besides, our boat is called Windsong which seemed significant, though I couldn't say why. I just like the name. She's very basic, but does have a wo

  9. Sat drinking tea and catching up on the forum, when there's a knock on the window. The curtain still closed thought who the feck is that this early. Go to the door and theres nobody there just a Black Bird siting on the hedge 10 foot away looking at me as if to say "where's me raisins". I aways feed them every morning with a hand full of raisins on top of the Ferret hutch, I know I was a bit late today and the curtains were closed but there getting cheeky. If the curtains are open he sits on the hedge looking at me on the sofa making me feel guilty. But the knock was uncanny just like a mate w

  10. Kind of agree with the sentiment in materialism but if the uk has fell , prime liquidisation would have probably been the industrial heartlands if the north east and South Wales. The nazis didn’t take too well to trade unionism if I remember correctly from school additionally , the likelihood would have been the USA would have levelled us with naval bombardments. They couldn’t afford to lose the war once they had started as a final aside , there’s irreparable damage carried out in drone and tomahawk strikes etc , agreed. But as far as aware there are no superpowers

  12. Speaking as someone who had a grandparent die in a concentration camp I’m sickened by some of the comments on this thread . Ok so my grandfather was drunk when he fell out of the guard tower but he still died in one lol . My thoughts yeah they done it without a shadow of doubt . Gotta be truthful now i think if this sort of thing happened today I’m pretty sure some members on here would be chucking me and my family in the oven lol shit Nazis the lot of ya ?

  24. I think farage,s brexit party is all about getting MEP,S in to the European Parliament in may, it,s estimated that around 25 percent of seats will go to anti eu politicians so the fight from inside can begin, UKIP will be standing for local elections, so in may if you want to piss the eu off vote for farage,s new mob but in local and generals stick to UKIP if you want to upset the uk government ????

  26. That's if they stand candidates against each other. It's unlikely each local area will have one of each. Forget about which party they are....conservative, ukip or brexit party.....speak to the candidates from which ever stand in your area and vote for the one that supports hunting and a proper brexit. We have plenty to choose from so let's fill locals, nationals and eu houses with the right people rather than arguing over trivialities.

  30. Because they're on your soil so, they're your problem. You may or may not be French, despite your location but, from what I've seen, a lot of Europeans have a very lazy attitude - they'll happily sit passive if they know a problem will walk on by - illustrated perfectly by the migrants landing in southern Europe from the Med' and being allowed to walk north ( the only ones that tried to oppose it was the Hungarians ). Most British thank their lucky stars for the English channel when we see that mess. ........... It's time you lot realised that you have a problem and learn

  32. They are protesting about a lot more than tax reforms. A Hell of a lot more. And why wouldn't they empty Sangatte into the UK? That is where they want to be and why should France hold the problem when the rest of Europe has let them travel through without restrictions? If the migrant route was reversed would you honestly do anything different? The reason migrants want to get to the UK is because successive British governments have failed to appreciate the attraction the Welfare State has on an increasingly mobilised Third World. The doors should have been slammed shut in their faces

  36. These type of posts always make my day. Because we hunt, shoot, fish etc people sometimes think we're a bunch of blood thirsty killing machines who will slaughter anything but I've yet to meet a hunter who doesn't care passionately about wild life and nature in general. Grated cheese works well with robins, wagtails and dunnocks, when I share my work sarnies with the birds they end up with more cheese than I fcuking do.... ?
