Amen to that mate.... I'm sorry we didn't get chance to chat, I only just saw the back of you as you were heading down the hill. But it was one hell of a turnout and fair play to those biker lads they gave him a proper send off, the likes of which I've never seen before. I've attached some pictures from way back then. The first one is when he won the original F&M Champion of Champions (as it was then) at the Midland Game Fair with his Lakeland Dog Billy. The Reserve was Gary Middleton's Border and the judge David Jones. The second picture is from when we travelled down to Se7 points

I wouldn’t be doing much at 3 months. Wouldn’t even be thinking about a lamp. Get the bond right and let it be a pup. Bit of basic training and get it amongst some stock. The rest will come in time. ?7 points

Kaiser Soze I had a dog out of billy to a very game patterdale bitch my dog called digger was a very decent animal who went about his with work with no fuss he died at 11 years of age & was gifted to me off Lennie we had some good days out as Barrie said times were different then, atb Flacko5 points

Same mate .The soil location or other type of habitat doesn’t seem to matter with a regular fox killer ,that’s what they live for . Years ago now with the bitch I have in mind, we were running dogs through old cable ducts on a deserted Air Force camp near me ,now built on .The foxes would bolt from some impossible tight place if they could get away ,couple of missing bricks in a wall or a lifted floor board and often jump out of broken glass in windows to freedom .The ducts ran between building and had concrete slab tops . Some of these ducts however went nowhere to dead ends possibly to5 points

Sorry Kaizer.... what I should also have added is that in those days there was no internet either. As a result, it's fair to say that in the main a man's reputation (for better or worse) and those of his dogs were based on what they did in the field, rather than how prolific a poster they were on Facebook and the number of likes and dislikes they got.5 points

Well, i have`nt mentioned it but i sent the FWB 124 off to a well known gun smith - Lyn Lewington, over in Caldicot, Monmouthshire. She`s having a V-Mach engine fitted along with a tweak to the trigger. The top rifle is the 124, bottom rifle is the 127. One of the lads off this forum has just got three FWB Sport rifles back and says they now very much remind him of the Venom Eighty shot cycle - nice. I notice a few lads are shooting V-Mach rifles on here Sh4 points

Lol ? ?. Fuji has put some good threads up, especially some of his pics, the one of boots head on coursing something was a belter. But to write the stuff he has the last few times he's been on here, well, I really can't fathom it out. And how many hares he's caught in 30 years, 15000 I think he said? And I presume he wouldn't have been hunting them during spring and summer , so half the time. A thousand hares every season for 30 years?4 points

FUJI or ANDY SUPER DOGS which he called himself over a decade ago on this very forum has always thought he is better than everyone else, has always spat his dummy out and got nasty when people didn't agree with him and give him the hero worship HE thinks HE deserves, back when his ex wife and sister in law where on this forum he was much much worse with them backing him up, they always got all the blame though as they are very vicious individuals.4 points

Ignorant cowards. Utterly contemptible pieces of shit who's conscience is shielded only by their own wilful ignorance. Something about a pretty blonde killing that really upsets the antis. A regular hairy arsed bloke killing doesn't provoke their anger in quite the same way.4 points

Ugly as sin. .......... It looks like result of an abuse scandal between an Evanix Sniper and a bunch of HW110s. I don't like the pistol grip - I think it'd look much better in a new design of walnut thumbhole stock. Maybe it's a case of function over form3 points

Ooooo a calibre thread! There will be much discussion and argument over THE BEST calibre but any of these will probably be where you land up. 17 Hornet 22 Hornet 222 Rem 223 Rem 22-250 Rem3 points

I can only speak about those dogs I saw work for myself and both Billy and Chalky were 110% (as was the man himself). What I can say with some certainty is that they were very much different times, if there were any doubts about a dog's working ability, it normally resulted in an invitation to see the dog work. That's provided it was phrased correctly of course.... the alternative being a smack in the mouth LOL. Kindest Regards - Barrie3 points

That's typical of those c**t antis - not enough fulfillment in their own sad little lives so, they poke their nasty noses into other peoples business RIP Melania3 points
