No,if they are crossing the channel they have crossed s number of safe havens,GENUINE asylum seekers are just happy to reach a haven, not pass through them to cherry pick where they want to settle they aren't facing persecution in France, there are NGO charities falling over each other to feed and clothe them, they are bogus.11 points

To everyone else who's shared their stories, thank you. When you're not ill yourself, but an illness encroaches in your life, it's very easy to feel alone, like you're the only one. The good Lady and I have felt pushed to desperation ourselves, but we've found great support from people who are walking in the same shoes as us. The greatest help we've found is simply having someone to talk to ! If you know someone who is a sufferer, don't t be afraid. You don't need any specialist understanding, or technical training..........you just have to be able to care !5 points

3 white guys in South Africa during Apartheid get jailed they get talking in prison. The first guy is asked what you in for? " Got drunk and shot two Kaffirs on the way home from pub" What did you get? "Week in jail" What did the judge say? "Be out in a day for good behaviour." Next guy was asked what you in for? "Oh I ran over a whole family of Black's with my Jeep" What did you get? "Oh I got a month in jail" What did the judge say? "Be out in 3days " Next guy what you in for? "Well I blew up a black c5 points

Sitting idly around on rain soaked day, I just stumbled across this charming little film, on Talking Pictures TV, who listed it as being made in 1945, not 1930s as the YouTube link suggests............4 points

Sheffield Hunt Saboteurs’ Land Rover was stolen and trashed last week. Please consider donating to their fundraiser for a new vehicle to keep them in the fields saving wildlife https://twitter.com/HuntSabs/status/10670853129528156164 points

Yes he has enough speed for daytime rabbits but he is quite hard mouthed, the first cross which is the mother to him catches quite a few to be fair although she normally runs with her litter sister as a pair, my daughter has the litter brother to the one in the picture but he is longer than mine and about 1 inch taller so he is a bit quicker than mine, but just mooching now so fits the job fine.3 points

The eu is fecked with or without us, there are governments emerging that are listening to the people not big business and bankers, this is spreading faster as the cat has escaped the bag and most member states are waking up to the massive lie that is the European Union, I love it ????3 points

She should apologise for her failure to deliver what the majority voted for would be a step in the right direction then admit she can’t deliver what she promised and hand the reins to someone who dispises the EU someone who will treat them with the same disrespect as they treat us3 points

Its plain to see that a lot of people have been affected by this debilitating illness, and its quiet clear its not a sickness youd wish on your worst enemy,,I will give you folks a little idea of how it affected my Sis...My sis was 23 when she was struck down with it,just out of the blue she folded like a deck of cards ,before that time she was a very accomplished classical spanish guitarist, she was trained by a top instructor, she even got trials for the RTE Symphony Orchestra.her guitar teacher told my parents if she kept progressing at the rate she was going she would be a very accomplished3 points

My lad has been back in the shed again. Here is his latest design. A hefty chopper made from 7mm Landrover Leaf Spring. With a 200mm blade she is a beast! Will get some more pics up when it is finished. P1090245 by Terry Griffiths, on Flickr P1090244 by Terry Griffiths, on Flickr2 points

Had a day off today and used both my springers. A Chinese underlever thingy, all £69 worth of it mildly tuned and a trigger job and my little 99s. Made a cracking shot on a 45yarder crow. Plum in the back of the head! The 99s loves these jsb 16grn pellets. The pellet was in the crows brain so I dug it out! Look how little rifling marks there is but they really want to stack themselves on top of each other! The Chinese thingy although low power is amazingly accurate with a good selection of pellets. I used up my last 17 Superdomes plinking and then went hunt2 points

We find the 15' more handy as we do a lot of very thick hedges and is not just 15' down but 15' away from you. The ferret might be out and running up or down the hedge and you can't see it, or if the ferret has sneaked out and further down the hedge a quick walk up and down the hedge and you find where it is. Hope you get what I mean, not trying to patronise you. Cheers Arry2 points

Got you. Never seen the 15' one before .. no way am I digging that far down to retrieve a "back ended" ferret I was out last week and a ferret back ended 3' down and that was a task in itself. Squeezed vertically down a hole I'd dug, to my waist .. got 2 rabbits at the end of it though, after retrieving the ferret.2 points

ANY MP going against they're constituents from the referendum should be ousted at the earliest opportunity, as they are supposed to be our voice. Doing as they see fit will only end up with more Jo Cox's. Dont ask the country to vote if you are not going to abide by they're wishes!!2 points

Ray,its clear you have no real understanding of depression, you can take all the meds in the world and it will never sort out the mind of a manic depressive, and you got the patience of a saint ...id be very happy not to have you anywhere near any poor soul with mental issues, you have a very selfish outlook it seems after reading your thoughts ..ive lived with a family member for 50 years with mental health issues, and its horrendous for all the family but 10 times worse for the sufferer2 points

Some nice cheap places in the wilds of south Wales This is my brother's father in law's retirment pad. Bought the woodland years ago and built this shack. Tend to the woodland and traps in there aswell. Splits his time between here and family home . Inside is gorgeous. Small and compact but idyllic. Old .22 air rifle in the little kitchen area and a nice tight bedroom.2 points
