  1. You need to get out more DD, times have changed I'll grant you that but there's still good lads coming through and IMO there's plenty of exceptional terriers in the country in far greater numbers than ever before.

  5. Last I heard it wasn’t a crime to drive down a lane, so I’d imagine it will go something like this: you were spotted driving down the lane Yes, and ? Why were you there? Going to see a man I know for a cup of tea It was reported you had waste on the van Well, I don’t know by who because I have never carried waste on the van bit it’s been reported Well they are lying .......and repeat until they get bored They count on you putting yourself in the shit in these things, if they have evidence make them show you their hand otherwise they can

  8. This ain’t coppers brother, this will be council enforcement officers. Trained busy bodies looking to rinse the bloke out for a shed load of money. Better to just say, I went for a cup of tea. If they had evidence they would have served the summons by now. c**ts to a man, give them nothing.

  9. Running is good, some long steady and some faster stuff, say 3 to 4 runs a week, a bit of gym stuff once or twice a week and a couple of rest days off a week to recovery and bobs your uncle. I'm 56 and still come in the upper end of races over both short and longer distances and manage the odd gym session without embarrassment. Running itself doesn't damage joints, its the twisting and turning that does the damage in sports, but i does give excellent cardio vascular results. If starting to exercise take your resting pulse, taken 1st thing in the morning before getting out of bed over a coupl

  10. Heres a dog my mate had in the early 90's...from a collie bitch and a greyhound stud...he was a savage on the foxes...but lost interest on rabbits shortly after.he would catch them on the lamp and retrieve them but when you tried to take the rabbit he'd drop it and it would run away unharmed...we ran mostly rabbits so he was pts over it...but the foxes he did take, and they were many,he really went all out on them...and taking punishment was no issue with him

I'm not kennel blind pal I'm passionate about the type of dog I keep which are collie greyhound people seem to forget the quarry and type of dog bred for that task ie collie greyhounds rabbit and feather I'm not arsed about foxes you can keep your bull types for that that's what there better suited for I'm not getting in a debate over different crosses its each to their own the thread is about collie greyhounds Regards Collie John

  15. The only dogs I've seen kill anything big like deer is my pit bitch on goats who would often take their throats out, or a mates English mastiff/danes who would crush pigs skulls,he got rid of them as he thought it wasn't sporting.I don't think its usually humane to let dogs maul large game animals to death.

  23. In my opinion your going backwards adding Saluki blood why add more sighthound blood that's just stupid and your diluting the good traits out of the dogs too many lads have gone that way and yes genuine collie greyhounds are thin on the ground especially the ones with plenty of collie blood in them ie reverse threequarter 5/8,s collie 3/8,s greyhound of first crosses, I'm not a fan of 3/4 breds they're to greyhoundy for me to fast poor coats poor feet no bone just don't like them they aren't what I'd term a mooching dog, that's why I breed my own I know how they're bred and I know they will su

  24. Dave didn't want the squirrels as he's already got a few and some rabbits in his freezer so, I took them. I decided to try a shepherds type thing with them this time While I was skinning the first one, I found the pellet just under the skin behind it's shoulder - it looked like it had passed right through the head, neck and shoulder and, come to a stop before exiting. I put both squirrels into the oven for around 25mins - with a little olive oil and covered with foil. When they were done, I picked the meat off and chopped it into smaller bits -

  27. Was in greenhouse today potting seedlings for my hanging baskets. Got some chilies on the go and sorted my strawberry plants. I do like a nice garden with a bit colour in the summer. Sowed daisy's sweet Williams coming on good. Even bought a new solar lighthouse other day. It's pretty bright too. Other week I found a cracking piece of driftwood on the shore. It's in the front garden where I put an artificial bonsai tree in it. Looks good. Planted a pear tree few weeks ago. Tbh not sure if it's going to take. Just a cheap £5 job so no great loss if it does di

  31. Take unqualified advise with a massive pinch of salt, to do otherwise will be at your peril. If there is any possibility of legal action being taken against you - take a solicitor. If a solicitor attends on your behalf, he/she must be given sight of the evidence against you (Disclosure). The solicitor will then be able to advise you BEFORE any interview takes place.

  33. One of my best mates yesterday was going on one of his pals stag do's to Budapest. They were all pissed in the airport and on the way to the plane the stag stupidly sparked up a fag. My pal was with the stag and 2 other people including his dad. No suprise they weren't allowed on the flight so they've all had a go at the airport staff, not clever at all. This was at Leeds/Bradford, they didn't get home while late lastnight and immediately booked a flight for this morning at Luton. They are on the flight now but my pals girlfriend has just been called and notified that they have all
