I've always been of the opinion that if one of my family or myself was so ill that i wouldn't have a quality of life i'd switch the machine off. That was until I was faced with the situation. my brother was admitted into hospital after chemotherapy, and whilst there contracted t.b meningitis. This was misdiagnosed , they put his strange behaviour down to him just being difficult. they sat on the results for a week before it was noticed. the upshot is he's cancer free, but paralysed and unable to speak. They did turn the machines helping him off twice, but he fought on, th5 points

I think if you see a river full of dead fish or a lake or pond, £30 per annum is a small fee to be able to call a number and they will come out save what they can install aeration equipment and prosecute the big corporate company that's just discharged tons of shit into your local beauty spot to save a couple of quid they also restock the water after any such event all for the princely sum of £2.50 a month, come on now really, I,m all for bumping off what I can get away with in life but this is one of the few things I have taken from my bank annually by DD even if I don't go fishing that often5 points

Accusing the doctors of wrongdoing, accusing the government of putting a price on life, accusing the parents of milking the media, asking where a parents rights to their children ends etc etc is all noise. Filter all that out and your left with the basic question of should the state really be making the decision that this little baby is better off dead than what suffering he may go through to have a chance at fighting for life? If we just accept that everyone involved wants the best for the kid then does the state really have a right to interfere here? Is it too soon? No blaming doct5 points

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/03/03/ashya-king-cleared-cancer-three-years-parents-abducted-hospital/amp/ This couple did what they thought was best for their son and were accused of 'Kidnap' ffs. They went against British doctors and authorities and took their son to Spain for treatment and were arrested at Malaga airport....he was given the all clear this year....currently cancer free.5 points

Pro life. Catholic church usual suspects. I think its Very bad taste these cases are used to push there own beliefs and agendas. For the third time I will mention it as it's been ignored. Last case like this and everyone was calling the British government and NHS heartless murderer's when they said American Dr could give him proven treatment that worked. No hadn't even looked at the kids charts or even spoke to the London drs. Funded by American pro life radicals. So people can post all the links they want but I make no apologies for not talking any of it as gospel. As almos4 points

Can only speak for here but the revenue from hunting and fishing licenses goes straight back into the management fund for improving the countryside for hunters and anglers. I have no issue paying $35US for the year.3 points

Oh, I get what you're saying, mate. Loud and clear. And for the record, I'm not going to sit here in colonies and say we've got it all figured out as that would be a damn lie and everyone knows it. There just seems to be some twisted priorities when criminals have rights and protections whereas decent law-abiding people get the shaft.3 points

You can still get them from the post office , you pay there and they give you a receipt which you keep and is valid till the actual license comes in the post3 points

If it’s too barbaric to put a peadophile to death then surely it must follow that it’s too barbaric to put an innocent toddler to death?.......or is that just my twisted logic ?3 points

Cheapest I’ve seen is about £20 a pair a French putange will last decades as it is and if you feel like it you can galvanise them at home apparently easily enought at£1 each it seems unnecessary to pay so much for pure stainless2 points

Years ago I used to have one. Dam was 15/16ths greyhound, 1/16th collie, sire was standard poodle. Unfortunately he got killed on the road in pursuit of bambi age 21 months, so never reached his full potential, but was shaping up to be all that I could have wanted. Good ferreting dog, sensible around the nets, had taken daytime hares, had a couple of daytime roe under his belt, and had retrieved his first goose from the water (I used to take him wildfowling, though lurcher work was the number one priority). He had a good nose, good feet and coat. Very biddable and great temperament - soft as2 points
