Got a few nice fox this week 5 in total . We had 3 spins in one field taking two for my mates dog and another (best total in one night).. next night we had one a piece .here's few pics

None of those poxy metal tea pots that spill half your brew over the table. Tea you can stand your spoon up in, and served in a proper mug. Toast done properly, not just warm bread (like the good lady prefers !). Tinned tomatoes, but not too much juice. Fried mushrooms in decent sized pieces, bacon cooked to a sensible degree (but no black bits) and no cheap sausages........I can't be doing with cheap sausages !

Not a gun dog but has produced some pretty special retrieves from water while out wildfowling and our licensed sawbill cull ....to see this little tyke retrieve a Canada goose on a big tide weighing nearly as much as him is something special and having that terrier mentality to never give up is what makes him achieve it ......he is as good a digging terrier as I’ve ever owned but has many uses

I wasn't crabbing the other breeds MM, I just think at this present time that the Patterdales/Fells are superior on a whole to anything else, so I fell lucky that I was dropped straight onto them. For example, I've got a good friend who is 20 years older than me, we both keep the exact same blood, but he says I'm lucky to have the blood so young whereas he had to mess about with various breeds before he came across this blood at a later age.

I was lucky in that I never 'wasted' any years messing about with other breeds, I was straight in at the deep end with a black dog pup and learnt as I went along. Had some great times digging to the little black (and sometimes choc) dogs, hopefully with many more to come!
