Gator attacks in general are really rare . An honestly the ones that are used to the tow boats like ours feeding them are so f***ing lazy and fat I don't think they have much desire . If there around a lot of times they'll just post up by the galley do and wait for scraps

We called in at Goathland on the way home (where they filmed heartbeat). There's fck all there , just a pub and a gift shop in the old garage. £4.50 for parking so we didn't stop. Called in at Yorkshire game fair at Malton on way, brilliant little show. £11 to get in and plenty there, real old school show, loads of heavy lurchers about that had obviously seen a bit of work (being walked by lads in camo jackets and tracksuit bottoms). Proper old type of show. Got a horn drinking cup as well

For the last few weeks my 6 year old has been digging holes on the allotments and putting a cheep crap mouse trap in them trying to catch a rat ha i have just left him to it , to day he asked me to set the trap again he put it down walked away and I heard the snap could not believe it ha trap was only down 30 seconds That's it he's telling me he's going to have a mouse catching business ha ha

As others have also said, I like a working whippet to be whippet size, not tall and heavy, it's not a whippet imo. Both of these are KC reg, SS descendents. Both can/did catch good sized numbers, in the worst of weathers, the only time I noticed problems with cold was if they were left stood about. I've said it a lot, whippets are very underestimated dogs.

As it goes sadly the man that could tell us all about ACD x's running on tough and flinty ground ain't no longer with us ,but the tough flinty ground was one of the reasons he used a ACD to produce a tough footed lurcher that did handle running on tough and flinty ground.
